Hello Once More @Imperium Members! This month we’ll be continuing the format from last time! In case you missed it, here is the explanation of the changes and some new information related to how Game Days will operate in the near future: We wanted to improve the experience of Game Day overall and felt that with Star Citizen in its current state just doesn’t warrant the amount of effort that we had once been able to put into it. IE. Custom Scenarios, Hype Trailers, Streaming, Competitions. Eventually that will change again and we can get back to the game that we are so anxiously awaiting. Until that time we would like to keep Game Day’s focus as a team building event that gives us a regular time each month that we can set aside to play games as an org. You’ll notice at the top of this post there is a poll with several games as options. If you plan on taking part in this Game Day, please vote for your favorite choice from this list, and those that play in the chosen game will be added into a raffle! The poll will close on this next Friday, the 25th of May. You’ll still be free to join in with anyone else that would be playing Star Citizen, so don’t worry if you don’t have any of the games in the list. If you would like to suggest game to play together as an org on future Game Day’s please leave us suggestions in this thread and we will add them to the poll for the next event. Raffles As for most other Game Day’s, we will be providing raffles for participants that play games in Star Citizen. However, this month we will be only conducting a participation raffle, so if you join any Star Citizen games created by other Imperium members, you’ll be entered into the raffle! As mentioned above, we will also be conducting a participation raffle for the winning game from the poll. Said game will have several TS channels created for players to meet up and play together, and doing so will enter you into this second raffle as well! "Hello there curd nerds" I have been watching this guy forever and have never made cheese myself but it's definitely on my to-do list. Not sure I would start with Gouda though. Probably some mozzarella, it seems easier for a beginner. I love niche channels like this with very knowledgeable people who will give clear instructions and not just a 5 min click bait title with no measurements or notes on best practice or tips and tricks.

Previous Game Day: Would like to thank everyone who attended last Game Day! We had lots of fun! Special thanks goes out to @XLB and @Space-Moose who make a special effort to be present and provide flight training for anyone who wants to practice. It’s not everyday you get to train with the best! My god @Reavern why do you waste your time with the most pedantic replies. Please do your best to not cause pointless debate. Back to a proper discussion.... Currently, they reset our accounts to something like 1000000 UEC with every patch. Of course, it's alpha now, and this is more of a discussion about beta. Here is a few minutes of Chris Roberts trying to trigger the entire community talking about how he would prefer not to wipe beta before full public release. May god have mercy on our souls. Keep in mind this was from 2014. Easter Egg in there around the 7:25 mark is a question about colonization. In all seriousness, there is a very real possibility that they may wipe everything, nothing or somewhere in-between, for example wiping and restoring our land claims and "progress" without completely wiping the existing economy. We don't know. I do disagree that buying land claims is a step too far for CIG. Boiling it down, anything can be bought in game, even bengal carriers or space stations if you have enough money and someone to sell it to you. Point is, may people load up and buy ships to sell back for in game currency. Others buy land plots now so they don't have to buy them later. It's the same thing. They are buying virtual equity through real life dollars. Being able to fly a ship or walk on your land has nothing to do with it. Intentions don't matter, it's the few people gaming the system that eventually determine what CIG is doing and end up causing changes for those who would contently buy a ship only to fly it. The game has been pay to win since day 1. It's time people accept that. I would like to hear CIG's most recent thoughts on persistence because it will certainly dictate the plans of every organization in the verse.
