  2. IMPERIUM MILITARY OP -------------------------------------- Date : Saturday 22nd 2022 Time : starting at 15h UTC (be there on time please) Rally point : ARC-L1 Organizers : @Morse & @macgivre Unfolding : - Preparing the assets (14h to 15h UTC) - Briefing (15h to 15h15) - FPS scenario (start at 15h20 UTC) - Debrief / feedback or maybe a 2nd run if people are interested Equipment needed : You need nothing ! Armor and weapons will be provided for the event. The classic rifleman role will consist of a P4-AR rifle with a Behring x4 optic. Specialist roles will be in limited number and they will have different weapons loadout (anti-tank, marksman, machine gunner). What is this event about : The goal is to try a PvP ground OP scenario where each side will have their own briefing and an objective to complete in multiple steps. You may think of it like the "Rush" game mode in Battlefield. For those who don't know what this gamemode is, it is basically an "attack/defend" scenario. There are multiples objectives and the attacking team must complete an objective before moving on to the next one. Victory is achieved either when all attackers are dead or if attackers managed to complete all objectives. However, depending on the number of players interested, the scenario's complexity and assets involved may change. The bare-bone scenario is to have the UEE marines engage a Ninetails underground bunker. It will be the main target with NPCs inside and some Ninetails players outside to help defend it. The mission will at least be focusing on those aspects : - mechanized infantry battle (mechanized =! armored, so no Nova tonks) - infantry medium-range engagement - infantry Close Quarter Battle (CQB) - EVA boarding and hacking of a comm array - medical gameplay in a combat environment - communication between squads Potential aspects of the mission if we are a lot of players : - Close Air Support / Dropship / Gunship - Air superiority fighter - Ship boarding in EVA In order to prepare the briefings, gather the loot and prepare the objectives, we need to have an estimation of the number of participants and what they would like to do. If you are interested, please let us know by reacting with either of the emoji below. ROLE CALL : 🔺️= vehicle crewmember (driver or turret operator) 🔶️= infantry (rifleman, specialist, combat medic) 🔴= combat pilot/crewmen (pilot or turret operators in dropship, gunship, fighter) Once we have a better understanding of what everyone is willing to do, we will provide teams setup and then you will be able to choose a faction (in order to keep the teams somewhat balanced). Keep in mind tho that this event is focused on ground warfare, so we need a lot of people on the ground and none or only a few in the air. NOTES : - EVENTS MAY BE RECORDED - Please behave - Please make every effort to have your spawn set @ designated Rally Points BEFORE Op Start Time - ALL SCB / IMPERIUM Members are welcome, - Late joiners will struggle to join the event. Please, try to be ready on time for the briefing and OP start - Please send in-game friend request to morse27400 for party invites - Command personnel please download and install Microsoft Whiteboard for Operation Tracking (https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/microsoft-365/microsoft-whiteboard/digital-whiteboard-app) If you plan to attend, please see the discord announcement and respond with the colored shape that represents your preferred role to facilitate planning. Any and all inquiries can be PM'd to @Morse directly.

  7. Hello Citizens! I just wanted to touch base with you all regarding our plans for future events here at Imperium and SCB. The wait for 3.15 going LIVE has been long and painful. With a full persistence wipe coming in 3.15 (including a reset off our in-games earned aUEC), we have been hesitant to host events that have money-making as a primary goal. Any aUEC we make in 3.14 will be lost with the wipe. Rest assured that when 3.15 does go LIVE, we plan to jump right back into regular events so we can all top-up our in-game wallets! Another topic I wanted to bring up is the implementation of more in-depth medical gameplay. Up until now, our medical gameplay has been limited to 3 ships with medical beds and medpens/oxypens. With 3.15, many medical gameplay changes will come into play, such as hand-held medical gadgets that can heal yourself and others, various medical drugs with different uses and effects, blood drug level (BDL), the implementation of full-blown hospitals, and the change to the cutless red med bed (unable to set your respawn to it anymore). These changes will have a HUGE effect on how we play the game! While it will be necessary for everyone to become familiar with the basics of these new medical systems, I will be putting more emphasis on medical support for future ops. Hopefully we have some members willing to take on the role of doctor or paramedic to keep us all functioning at our best! Additionally, 3.15 will bring the implementation of the new personal inventory system. Gone are the days where you can "magically" re-equip your medpens, armor, clothes and guns from an infinite inventory when you are out travelling the 'verse. If you want to equip something, you better take it with you! Most ships in 3.15 will have the ability to store items to take on your journeys. Just make sure to load-up before leaving the station! When hosting ops, we will do our best to bring some extra armor suits, medpens, guns and ammo. However, it will be strongly advised to get used to this new system! Finally, we would like to get back to hosting regular racing events. Our previous race days have been amongst the most entertaining and exciting events! If there's anybody in our community that would be interested in championing race days, I would encourage you to reach out to me! We could use the help in scheduling additional races and over-seeing their execution. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please reach out to me either here on SCB or on discord! As always, please keep an eye on the #events channel on discord for information about our upcoming events! When 3.15 goes LIVE, we'll hit the ground running! o7 REIGN

  11. Hello Once More @Imperium Members! This month we’ll be continuing the format from last time! In case you missed it, here is the explanation of the changes and some new information related to how Game Days will operate in the near future: We wanted to improve the experience of Game Day overall and felt that with Star Citizen in its current state just doesn’t warrant the amount of effort that we had once been able to put into it. IE. Custom Scenarios, Hype Trailers, Streaming, Competitions. Eventually that will change again and we can get back to the game that we are so anxiously awaiting. Until that time we would like to keep Game Day’s focus as a team building event that gives us a regular time each month that we can set aside to play games as an org. You’ll notice at the top of this post there is a poll with several games as options. If you plan on taking part in this Game Day, please vote for your favorite choice from this list, and those that play in the chosen game will be added into a raffle! The poll will close on this next Friday, the 25th of May. You’ll still be free to join in with anyone else that would be playing Star Citizen, so don’t worry if you don’t have any of the games in the list. In fact you will probably find lots of us getting into the new mining mechanics by next weekend. It would be a thrill to see some of the trade and industry folks show up and mine some space rocks for the first time. If you would like to suggest game to play together as an org on future Game Day’s please leave us suggestions in this thread and we will add them to the poll for the next event. We’ll also be shortening the duration of Game Day for this month. Instead of 1600 UTC through 0400 UTC, we’ll be starting at 1800 UTC and run to 0400 UTC. Joining Game Day For those of you that want to make a return visit, or show up for the first time, you only need to enter the Landing Channel on Teamspeak (ts.starcitizenbase.com), and one of our Hosts will direct you to the action! Raffles As for most other Game Day’s, we will be providing raffles for participants that play games in Star Citizen. However, this month we will be only conducting a participation raffle, so if you join any Star Citizen games created by other Imperium members, you’ll be entered into the raffle! As mentioned above, we will also be conducting a participation raffle for the winning game from the poll. Said game will have several TS channels created for players to meet up and play together, and doing so will enter you into this second raffle as well! Since we are hosting two games at once, be sure to check in with an officer or specialist that your name was added to the raffle of the game you played in! (As much as we may pretend otherwise, our Game Day hosts are still human, and you wouldn’t want to miss out on your chance to win free stuff) The prizes for both raffles will be $10 Star Citizen gift cards, and the winners of the raffles will be PM’d in the following week to confirm their prizes. 16. Hello @Imperium Members! I would like to make an announcement regarding the next Imperium Game Day’s activities! As you may know already Patch 3.0 is (not so rapidly) approaching and it’s within the realm of possibility that the next scheduled Game Day may fall on a date where PTU is out of Evocati and semi-public. It’s reasonable to expect some sort of layered release as usual and not everyone will have access at the same time. With that said here are the contingencies for the next Game Day. Game Day for October will take place on the 28th. If 3.0 is not in a semi-public PTU or still with Evocati we will treat this month’s Game Day as a last attempt to get some practice in on our EVA, FPS, and Flight skills before 3.0. You can expect the usual, Star Marine, Flight Training, Game modes like, Zombie mode, Drunken Citizen, etc.. If 3.0 is in semi-public PTU we will be indulging the patience of those who have been foaming at the mouth for months and will prioritize playing 3.0 and streaming it for those who might not yet have access. If in some unholy change of events Chris holds an impromptu naked drunken late night stream and releases 3.0 public, we will be holding an Official 3.0 Imperium Game Day Event with lots of giveaways / Prizes. I would expect this not to happen before next month, though I will elaborate on the 3.0 Public Release Event further down. Of course, things get delayed and that is why we have plans for each option. We will learn more this coming Friday with the weekly 3.0 update and have an even better idea after the CitCon presentation on the 27th. Previous Game Day: Would like to thank everyone who attended last Game Day! We had lots of fun! Special thanks goes out to @XLB and @Space-Moose who make a special effort to be present and provide flight training for anyone who wants to practice. It’s not everyday you get to train with the best! For those of you who don’t know these pilots are already offering something similar outside of Game Day as well, so if you can’t make it for the one on Game Day, or just want to train a little more please check out this link where you can get more information regarding flight training: Also, congratulations go out to @Zeus Omega, @Tom Villder, @ark_bird, and @Tieloon who won gift cards for their participation in the 4 different game-day events. As mentioned in the contingency for this upcoming GameDay, we have special plans for the Public release of patch 3.0 Regardless of the date of the previous or future GameDay’s we are going to hold a special event to celebrate this long awaited patch the weekend of it’s release. Please understand that we may not be able to give much notice ahead of time but if you keep up with the CIG’s weekly updates you should have a good idea when to expect it. Of course, when we have a firm date we will post a much more flashy announcement and ping everyone via Forum/E-mail. Please keep this special event in mind and join us the weekend of the public 3.0 launch. We promise you will not be disappointed. Some of you may even leave with a new ship in your hangar! Details will be posted upon date confirmation from CIG. 18. Salutations @Imperium Member! We've finally managed to clean up after the last Game Day, and we're now ready to prepare for another one! If it was the case that you missed the last one, or somehow don't know what Game Day is; then don't worry, because we streamed most of it. @Rellim and @Pegasus truly did an amazing job setting up the stream with all the technicalities and what-not. @Sharpspoonful Did a great job shoutcasting during the stream and we look forward to many more streams with his beautiful voice and face at the forefront. We would also like to give a shoutout to our amazing camera crew @Weehamster, @GRIZZ and anyone who volunteered to stream their point of view for us to use, this wouldn't be possible without ya'll. Should there be any interest in helping out during the stream with shoutcasting, streaming or on a more technical level; then don't be afraid to contact any of us event coordinators. (Bloppo or Killroy) You can also take a look at this link and fill out the stream form and we'll be sure to contact you. http://imperium-studios.tk/ On to the new stuff! On the 25th of March, between 16:00 - 04:00 UTC, we will be hosting our 6th Game Day! This time we’ll be offering, as always; fun gameplay including custom game modes within Arena commander and Star Marine. These activities will also be streamed so you can show all your loved ones that you're having fun! We're sad to say that this Game Day is once again BYOB, but if you wish to change that for future events simply give money to Bloppo, he's trustworthy with your money. And as always; Joining Game Night For those of you that want to make a return visit, or show up for the first time, you only need to enter the Landing Channel on TeamSpeak (ts.starcitizenbase.com) , and one of our Hosts will direct you to the action! 19. Greetings all, This game has got me all worked up, and I for one can't wait a year to get some more flight time. I know I'm not the only one with an itchy trigger finger, so I have decided to announce one of the first Star Citizen community events, FreeSpace FlightNight, sponsored by The Brown Coats squadron! Starting 7:00 PM @ UTC-5 (US EST) on Thursday, December 13th, and every Thursday thereafter, all interested pilots will be able to join in everything from free-for-all dog-fights to team PVP and co-op missions. This is designed to be for players of all skill levels, an excuse to sharpen up our flying skills and get together as a community. The game, FreeSpace 2, is only a $6 download, so why not join us? We will most likely have voice comms up for the 13th, and this wiki page has been set up for those who want more information. We have had about a dozen people express interest so far, and several of us have already been trading blows in game. This is looking like it has the potential to be one hell of a party. So grab your joystick, get in the cockpit, and let's shoot something already! TLDR: Wanna shoot things with fellow Citizens? CLICK HERE for more info! EDIT: To clarify, the FS2 multiplayer is now only available with FreeSpace Open, an open source extension of the original FreeSpace 2 game. if you do not own Freespace 2, you will need to spend $6 on the game, then install the free FreeSpace Open patch.
