If the modding is replacing a lot of the switches that would be a bit much. I was looking at getting one but with the poll about a SC branded HOTAS I'm waiting to see what goodness that might be.

I think this will end up on a steam wishlist to grab on sale sooner or later. Looks like it will be fun but I'm not going to rush and get it right away.

Nuclear payloads are not that great of an option as it would basically be orders of magnitude too small as many others have posted. Hell the Retaliator mill spec version has antimatter bombs. Given the energy of the rail guns on capital ships even the largest thermonuclear devices we have today would be laughable by comparison to the kinetic impact of the rail projectiles. Bottom line if you are talking dooms day weapons, I say hell no. If you are talking nukes, most of the missiles probably already are.

A HOTAS is still on my shopping list, don't really have room for it at my desk right now so it would require a rearranging of my room... For now I use either gamepad or kb & mouse.

Decided to look into the overlap issue a little. I'm seeing the overlap of Diplomacy and Technology in current versions of Chrome(39.0.2171.95 m (64-bit)) and FireFox(34.0.5). Firefox: 1000px < Broken Style < 1075px Chrome: 1000px < Broken Style < 1073px Used http://whatsmy.browsersize.com/in another tab to check current size. Looks like one of those crazy edge cases.

Also to mirror my comment on the RSI forum: I don't think the starting wait is going to be any where near as critical, or as difficult, as the increase in time for frequent losses.

Is it know... because you ARE ONE!!! That being said, one of the things that finally made me stop playing EVE was the extent of meta-gaming. I'm hoping CR and the team manage to find creative ways to make this less useful. But like you said any Org over probably 200 members most likely has spies in it already and anything over 1k probably has several. Being the size Imperium is I'm sure we have a squadron of them.

That was my first thought as well. A breaking yard is an insane concept. Since all the bits are going to end up hauled away they will often get a ship up to full speed and run it as far onto the beach as possible.

Hate to be the one to bring this up, but if you are failing to remove it with all of the tools people have mentioned you most likely have a deeper problem, possibly a root kit of some sort that keeps adding it back. The only way to know for sure is: 1. Backup important documents, pictures, etc. 2. Reformat the drive (a linux live disk works great for this) 3. Install your OS 4. Install anti-virus 5. Mount and scan backup. 6. Install application and restore backup.

Tried that 5 or 6 times, removed and re-installed the entire client. Nothing helps. Then I tired it 1 more time after rebooting... Finally worked. So I guess delete, reboot, try again was what finally did it.

Well I have managed to log in exactly 0 times. I hope it gets fixed before they head home for the holidays. I have a week and a half off of work and would really like to be able to play.
