Futuristic Tank

So I was browsing the internet and saw some cool futuristic military vehicles, so I decided to make a Tank! I will post here my Progress (with Pictures etc.), so if you want to give me feedback or have some ideas that could fit with this, post it!

So I first searched for some reference to get an Idea how the tank could look:

I liked the Track of the third one so I started with doing the tracks and then building the tank around them.

So now I started with the tracks:

Track piece. (Those little 'noses' are for the tire of the tank)

87biQ.jpgGetting the form of the track done. (Also animated, was only one option more) Note: the upper corner won't be able to be seen

Close shot, so you can see how the track will work.

I could argue that the form is of no purpose, complicates the structure design and makes it even more vulnerable. ;)

Todays designs are almost fleshed out, at least the designs will not differ large from each other.

Think they focus on Mobility and a Low-Profile now. :)

Yeah, I know that that isn't very functional, but my aim is to create a futuristic looking tank, not a functional ;) (I should've written that in my first post)

Considering the US and the UK are extremely close to working prototype "active camouflage" tanks, the design may not matter much at all.

If we're about to have "invisible" tanks now, imagine what future tanks could do? Man, it's only a matter of time before we start slapping railguns on them too!
