You are right. I should prob start promoting myself more. Its just a hobby but it would be nice to get more subscriptions so I know I am not just wasting my time. I know I spend more time reviewing, editing, and posting videos than I get to play and I am still 3TB behind. Sometimes I just want to play so I definitely understand what you're talking about.

Thanks for the info! The avatar is just a modified wallpaper I used to use. I really liked it and used it as an intro for awhile. I have been playing around with various software for video and picture editing and finally found something I liked and seemed to work well for what I do. But I do not think I am creative enough to design a cartoon avatar. I honestly wouldn't know where to start. I have been considering having a friend draw me up something. I actually started putting the 1080p on videos because I hate when I'm searching for a video and it ends up being 720p which doesn't look very good stretched out on my monitors but I understand your point. My first videos were edited with Windows Movie Maker and I usually didn't talk much because I didn't like hearing myself in my videos. So thanks for the info on my voice. I just use a headset mic for recording now, but have considered getting a better one. The only thing that concerns me is the back ground traffic from my army of children running thru the house talking, screaming, fighting, etc. I don't know how it will work out for recording. I actually changed my video intros recently because I had a siren at the beginning with an explosion at the ending of the videos which was similar to an intro for quad videos I used to watch all the time, H-Bomb Huevos/Division 4 videos. But after talking to several people no one else really got it or like it. So I changed it and went with my current intro which I think is not only better looking but more pleasing to others. The music levels have went up and down in many of my videos and some end up being good while others just to loud. My first few videos were hit with copyright protections because I used music from my own library so now I use music from the YouTube editor and I try to mix it up with a wide range of music for everyone. Thanks for the info on the titles also. I have been a little uncomfortable about being misleading in my titles but I see your point about having something more catchy rather than descriptive. I will work on it! Pictures. I haven't tried to cut and past anything into my wallpapers yet. I honestly haven't tried to ever cut and past photos. I have considered buying a camera to include my face while playing or streaming but I am older, late 30's, so I don't know if that is something I want to do yet. It seems like a lot of people doing this are in their teens-twenties. Its been something I have been going back and forth on. Thanks again on all of the great advice! I really appreciate it! Got it!

Hello everyone! I started a YouTube channel, Alien Volt Gaming, about 10 months ago as a hobby. I have put up over 400 hundred videos in that time and continue to learn/improve in video quality as I progress. I have been following the game now of about 18 months or a little longer and ended up buying a hornet ghost just over a year ago when I finally commited to a ship. I am going to pick up a mustang real soon, leaning towards the racer. But the ship I really want is no longer available, the Cutlass Blue. I see myself flying recon missions most of the time if the game ends up providing that opertunity. If not then I will prob look into transport defense. If I end up getting a Blue, then I plan on doing prisoner transport/bounty hunting which I believe will be a good fit since I have 21 years experience in the military/law enforcement.
