Dr. Bright
I wonder if you would be able to program in basic maneuvers, for example. About face (Or quick turn if you prefer): Turns your ship 180 degrees. or Evasive maneuver Delta: Some fancy loops to throw your enemy off guard. Edit: Just tried out some basic commands for WSR in Star Trek Online, man is it awesome! I think the biggest benefit for this will be to allow you to quickly cycle through enemy targets quickly while giving you a free keybinding (Moving the target key to something like p, or a key that isn't close at hand.) VoA
From Reddt: Looking for a Voice Attack Profile that includes Power Management? This should help! (self.starcitizen) submitted 5 hours ago *by NearlyLegit https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzCoTLA6ZZGCWXFFYUpZdEpfT2c/edit?usp=sharing I've created this one from the ground up, tested on a hornet (only, due to lack of any other flyable ship). 61 non-prefixed commands (so you can add your own if wanted!) including the all important power management (also includes voice feedback and descriptions on each command). Guaranteed to help you survive longer!* Including: CM (Countermeasures): Flare - releases flare Chaff - releases chaff (can use flare command straight away to release flare) General: Camera - changes camera Reset Camera - resets from 3rd person to cockpit Eject! Stop input - Stops whatever VA is doing Three/free/tree - Turns decoupled mode on and off. (Three is because that's what VA thinks I'm saying so i'm guessing it might do it for you too!) (Power) Management: Escape config - avionics/shield max Combat config - shields/weapons max Max avionics Max weapons Max shields UI overview UI power UI weapons UI shields Various power resets (all consolidated into one 'reset power' command, as well as max reset ones) Shields: Front/Rear/left/right shields (I had back shields originally, but these were often confused with max shields, and I'm no sailor so aft, stern, port, starboard are all a little confusing in the heat of the moment). Reset shields Targets Cycle Lock - (nearest target) Missile lock/fire Match - matches target speed It's by no means exhaustive and as the game progresses I will update it as needed and post back. But for now it seems to work just fine! The only thing is that for the power management to work, 'OVR' MUST be flashing, this can be achieved 95% of the time by just repeating the command again as I have it sent back to 'overview' when it completes (hence the voice acknowledgement). Happy hunting all, hope this helps! *Terms and conditions apply. See your own skills for further information. Lokeus
Nice VoA good find ill prob steal that one for power management. I got missile set to "lock" and " fire " only as comand. Prob compare the shield management you linked to mine since i have to switch menys to get to front shields. And comands are front/back/left/right

Meathammer
Thanks for this post. I'll have to check out VA and see how it works. I've tried some other programs in the past and one of them, not sure which, screwed up the SAPI system with Win7 x64. However that was a few years ago. One feature that one of the other programs had that I liked (I think it was Say2Play) is that you could set it up to ignore voice commands when a particular key was pressed (such as your TS push-to-talk key). Does anyone know off hand if VA also has such a feature?

King Mohawk
Hey guys, I'm looking at the key bindings and I can't seem to figure out how to distribute power where I need it. I have set up my VA to practically everything else I need. I just have zero idea how to divert power or increase power to certain areas! Also @Lokeus, thanks for the post! I love the VA system, I was struggling with trying to balance my keyboard set up. This helps a bunch! Zion Orion

I love the VA system, I was struggling with trying to balance my keyboard set up. This helps a bunch! Hey @King Mohawk, Here's how I have mine set up for the power system. Right now it's only set to rest power back to balanced, although it should give you an idea on how to do it. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ap5sgkasexlvfn8/AACkAJ7Lx0FRoMJuvaeXmnsUa Basiclly it consists of hitting F3, num 2 (down) twice, hitting enter, then pressing the num 2 key(down) 32 times then num 8 key (up) 16 times. To set max sheild/thrust/weapons you would only use num 4, num 6 or num 8 with 16 or 17 key presses to get it all the way to one extremity. I'm not sure if that's how everyone else is doing it, but it seems to work this way for me.

Moofasaa
Click Edit profile then in the bottom of the window that poped up there should be a button that says "Import command" locate the .VAP (if you haven't done so save it to your desktop) and open it. The command should now be in command library named 'reset power' Let me know if you get it to work.

Puls0nic
I have bought the program now, and it's amazingly wonderful. I have set up all my commands to give my audible feedback (so I know its working) and I've also set up voice attack to stop listening and to start listening before and after giving my audible feedback, so that it doesn't mistake it's own voice as mine. Works well. I have set it up to play music (turn on radio) and then it connects to the base. (Having issues where it minimizes the game when running this command) I have it set up to type in my password and log me in with an audible greeting when I say "Verify voice ID" I have created some random chirps and quirks where when I say "respawn" after dying, it respawns the ship back for me and tells me it's a good day to die. I still want to find a way to randomize certain sentences so I can add a bit of a random "personality" to it. But so far super dependable! I have even set up a series of voice commands that I set up when showing this to my girlfriend, such as say hello, and the computer will respond back, and my intention is to make her feel that the computer is actually alive and responding. SO much fun, lol! JoraM Darkblade and Zion Orion
Arctek
I don't know why but the computer isn't very good at recognizing my voice I've done the training program at least 6 times now, and it hasn't gotten any better! King Mohawk
Lokeus
Arctek use Windows owni program that teaches the CPU of your voice. Aswell Dont get stuck on commands for exempel... I say "lock" it thinks im saying "look" so i let it stand.
Jack Burner
Does anyone know how to add speech engines to VA? I bought a bunch of voices and have installed them, yet can't seem to find a way to import them into VA. Thanks for the help.
