Imperium Recruitment (StarCitizenBase.com Fleet)

Recommended Posts

Well if you do indeed get to making that merc group, we will gladly consider you allies.

Sounds good. I'd be more than happy to help cross promote the community and guild-building around this game, because I think it's going to be a truly unique experience. Keep me posted on how you guys grow and develop, and I'll try to do the same.

Sign me up for the fleet. I mean, I really don't want to toot my own horn. However, I can give a few modest references, at request. :P I prefer to prove my mettle in SC rather than to boast about my prior....achievements(?) or accomplishments...;)

Reporting in. I would love to dedicate a lot of time to this fleet, but college comes first. That said, I will do everything I can to help support this fleet and the game that Chris Roberts is going to make.

Special Tactics and Reconnaissance ;) Stealth recon and exploration, intel gathering. I've led several guilds, groups, linkshells, call them whatever - few of them quite successful, one being a server-first scorer. But I'm definately not a power luster, so I'm really good with taking care of a division. Playing all kinds of Space Sims since 1993.

I might be stating the obvious but information gather is the key to forming the number one group and that's something which will happen over the next two years

True. Is there anything to the idea of creating a group-only encyclopedia on the game? Of course there will be a open source project on wikipedia, but a more group-oriented database might have some advantages too.

Thoughts?

Where do you sign up? By just posting here saying you would like in. Then I update your group/permissions.

must be my humour not hitting the mark so here goes the direct approach, SIGN ME UP (scotty) or was that beam me up ?

I am interested in joining the fleet. I consider myself to be flexible in that I can move to fill the role that is most needed at any given time. I realize that this usually relegates me to some sort of support function, but I am perfectly fine with that. Whether that role is on the vanguard of a squadron doing a presence patrol in an asteroid field, or mining out said asteroids for their ore to fill the cargo bay of our carrier, or manning the turret on said carrier in overwatch over the miners. Whatever needs to get done, I will do.

I also trust roberts will make it so they are HARD to attain. Much like the carriers in eve are very difficult to attain.

If we make a nice start we can be one of the first groups to get a carrier. But from what I see we will start with shitload of Constellation ships which is like a small carrier.

On topic: I cant recruit anyone in my current EVEalliance because its a national one and if they decide to play CZ they will create a national alliance for sure. I can recruit some people from my old alliance and corporation maybe. I don't know I cant promise anything so dont want to be a recruiter. My speciality in EVE is working with offline tools figuring out what is the best fit for a ship esp in multi-composite fleets etc etc. Here that wont be so important maybe because it is not a point and click game.

So sign me in on a pew pew position in fleet :)

Edit: Carriers are not hard to attain in EVE. Titans on the other hand are...

      Happy Holidays @Imperium Member
We’re returning from our hiatus with a brief announcement for this months Game Day, which will be held this next Saturday, December 15th! With the recent explosion of content in the form of patch 3.3, and even more patches in the near future providing exponentially more places and events to explore, we wanted to provide some assistance to those that were looking to enjoy the new additions to the game, but wished to do so with some friends and org-mates.
      Joining Game Day
In pursuit of that goal, as mentioned above, this next Saturday will be the next Game Day, held from 1600 UTC to 0400 UTC. If you are interested in playing Star Citizen with other members of the community, join us on TeamSpeak in the Game Day channel section! If you’re looking to do something specific, such as explore the PU, shoot one another in Battle Royale, or get some flight hours in Arena Commander, follow these steps:
Create a sub-channel in the relevant parent channel of the Game Day section of TS
Include LFM, or LFG in the title of your sub-channel
In the channels description provide an idea of what you’re looking to do
Alternatively, you’re welcome to hang out and chat in the Landing Channel should you desire a break from the game!
Some minor changes from the format of our last Game Days will be effective for this month. We’re going to omit having hosts present for each hour of the event, opting instead for staff to enjoy the game alongside all of you. We’re looking forward exploring the new content with everyone!
With that, we hope to see some of you next weekend, and we wish all of you safe travels and happy holidays! We’ll be back next year with more events in store, so we hope to see you then!
