Morphius
Do you think you could fit a Terrapin in the Javelin along with 2 Argo's? Use the Terrapin for jumping and scanning ahead and the Argo's for 2-8man boarding trips? Maybe even more Argo's tucked out of the way in that hangar, there looks to be some room not directly under the hangar door. GeraldEvans
Boildown
Based on the videos this weekend, I'd say the Terrapin is too big to fit in a Javelin.
GeraldEvans
Not only could you fit a Terrapin, but you can fit a Prospector. bOcy, Morphius and xOperator
xOperator
interesting, think ill try to keep a terrapin docked at all times GeraldEvans
bOcy
Do consider hoplite's listed beam of 26.50m is likely with extended wings i'll guess anything with beam of less than 18 15.4m will fit length: 38m beam: 18m 15.4m height: 9.5m
GeraldEvans
Yeah, but the Terrapin is still twelve meters narrower.
Morphius
Thanks @GeraldEvans I should have thought of the size of the hoplite, as it seems to be it's intended personnel carrier off the Javelin. I was thinking of the Terrapin as a maxed (overclocked scanning to the max) agile scanning ship to use as a scout. Then try to use Argo's as the people movers. Boildown
They just said in the videos this week that the Terrapin is quite a bit bigger than they originally thought. (Like every ship they make.)
Devil Khan
they double if not triple the size bigger that it can't fit on the Javelin
Caldon
No, better. They'll make it bigger than the Javelin! macgivre

GeraldEvans
Leaked image of the Javelin after several reworks. Terrapins for scale. That's actually a reverse video. They are removing that dish to push the wall out a little further for a subsequent expansion. In this way the Javelin is always bigger than it is. As of the hand of F42UK is always touching it. Nah, they decided to add two meters to all of the hallways because they are implementing triangular hallways in all Aegis ships so that it matches the shape of their logo (which is actually just a stylized little man in a triangular hallway). They didn't want to redo the weapon art for the main laser, so they're removing it here in order to accommodate the expansions. macgivre and GeraldEvans 1

You can also slot in living quarters, a cargo bay, or an exploration package.

All triangles, of course. Where corridors and rooms intersect they form hexagrams. This is going to be the best ship ever. Edit: Its obvious to me where they're getting the people to start things like the Carrack and BMM. If the Idris, Bengal, and Jav had up to 9 artists working on them at their peak...well...its obvious that some big ships are being finished off in the background. GeraldEvans
I thought he meant we could slot living quarters into the laser. That's the fastest commute to work ever.

Buckaroo
Have y'all seen the Javelin in Star Citizen 3.0? Not much to see inside other than the bridge--the rest is really just exterior only. But cool find still! (How to get there: Javelin Wreck) Morgenroete
