Starfarer Tanker: The Ultimate Trade Ship

Recommended Posts

That isn't true. The Gemini is much more angular, less MISC rounded. Look at the cockpit cheeks, and the front flanks. Plus above the flanks you see two rounded tubes instead of one.

Sorry, I was playing spot the differences the other day. :)

Gemini (although they're being really inconsistent)

This looks like a blend of both before they made the Gemini more angular.Gemini336.jpg

AtV today: "The Starfarer is a huge ship... you guys who bought a Starfarer are in for a treat. It's pretty amazing, the scale of it and everything like that. And also the uses of it... in the large world stuff we're showing the fuel is working as well so now the Starfarer when that comes online is going to have a lot of purpose immediately, which is gonna be great for the gameplay." - Erin Roberts

I have a starfarer and am wondering would it be worth it to get the gemini upgrade or just stay as base model?

I'm sticking with the standard one personally. Bigger guns and better shields doesn't make up for a one quarter reduction in cargo.

It all depends on what part of the verse you wish to travel.  If you are in one of the Vanduul Hunting Squadrons (operating near Vanduul space) or operating in areas not controlled by the UEE you may want a Gemini.   If you are operating in safe / patrolled UEE space (or if you have fighter escort)..... then the Base Model Starfarer is more efficient with the larger carrying capacity.

If I was in a Vanduul hunting squadron I'd hope my escort did a decent job protecting my ass while I gathered sweet, sweet jump juice for them. I mean they are the best right?  This isn't a suicide mission right?  Guys?

Where did everybody go?
