The most appropriate recon ship right now is the Ghost which will have (at most but very unlikely) 4 tonnes of cargo space. The Herald might have more, but we have exactly zero specs on it yet. I assume it wouldn't have much either since it's so specialized. You could always modify a Cutlass or a Caterpillar, but that's just drake ships being drake ships.
