Drake Cutter

The Drake Cutter was a straight to flyable, starter ship, released on the first day of the 2022 IAE.  

A great deal at $45 warbond for a starter pack with LTI.  $40 (wb) without the package.

Compared to the other starter ships its much more spacious for a XS sized ship, with a bed and bath, weapon rack, and 2 SCU cargo bay.

...so I got one, even though I have other starters; even though I already had a Vulture which is the absolute exact same thing only without the salvaging tech... HEY, don't judge me, okay?!? YOU'RE NOT MY MUM!!!

Even though I already have way too many ships I just had to pick up a Cutter as well. It may not have big guns or strong shields or anything but it looks like it may be a very nice box-truck with a lot of fuel. Not sure if that ridiculous amount of fuel was intended or just a bait&switch marketing trick where the fuel will be nerfed to hell once the sale is over; but we'll have to wait and see. That is also has a full bathroom was a surprise; especially considering its small size. Now I'm even more annoyed that CIG never bothered to give the Cutlass Black its bathroom back.

The little windows in the back were a nice touch; as well as those sliding armor panels in the cockpit. Now I doubt that they offer any real protection but it was cool to see ships having such little extra gimmicks.

If people still want to pick one up; it looks like the Cutter is still available at $40 with LTI. I was also able to get one on a secondary account so that I could get that free MPUV-1C as an added bonus because CIG currently has a Bonus Referral Event underway. Then after the 30 days are up I'll just send that Cutter to my main account and use it as an LTI token for one of the other ships I still want to get (probably one of the Spirit variants).
