GRIZZ
Announced yesterday at CItizenCon the Graycat STV (Sports Terrain Vehicle) resembles a dune buggy by Graycat. It launched with a warbond price of $35 and regular price of $40. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/18819-Greycat-STV Morgen Black
Morgen Black
The Greycat STV is a small ground vehicle that was fun to drive on planet. I picked up one to try out and I spent about an hour or so bopping around Microtech. I do like the small package, it should mate up with a 400i better than squeezing a Cyclone RN under the lower turret. The Cyclone series does handle better, especially in lower gravity situations. The color options are average, the Concierge blue and carbon fiber was a nice bonus. MB
Danakar Endeel
Color options are pretty minimal effort as they seemingly just use the basic paint-tool for these paints. There also seems to be some Marketing BS in there when they talk about it being "best in class" when it comes to speed. Someone tested it against a Cyclone RC and the STV looked like it was being driven by an old lady while the RC vanished over the horizon. So this STV is only "best in class" when compared to the Greycat PTV and ROC maybe But yeah, I'm going to pass on this one as I already have enough LTI tokens as well as enough ground vehicles (still waiting on that Ranger). Now if CIG ever releases an Anvil Rover that's the same size as the RSI Ursa then I'd definitely be a lot more interested. As for fitting in a 400i? Yes, people were able to put two STVs on the pad with a little bit of space to spare.
Morphius
Since it’s released do we think it will get a price increase beyond $40 ? Just wondering and thinking about the value of these CCUs to serve as a solid starting point with min $5 savings on any CCU chain. If we think it might increase again, it just makes it better and I might get a few more to slide that bigger savings early into some chains. Thoughts? GRIZZ
Compared to the cyclone, I don't foresee the STV having a price bump, but I've been wrong before.
