Hi,

I pledged yesterday and downloaded the installer on a new machine (HP Pavilion Gaming TG01-2304ng, Gaming PC mit AMD Ryzen 5 Prozessor, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, GeForce RTX 3060, 6 GB GDDR6) with Windows 11.

I can install the launcher (1.5.5) but the game install fails without an error number.

Has anybody had the same issue?

Thanks in advance

Hey @Ghostzapper, welcome to the forums, glad you've decided to play StarCitizen!

Regarding your problem, I have not read/heard anything about this specifically. My personal thoughts are to check,
1. Does the HDD/SDD have enough space for everything to be completely downloaded?
2. Verify game
3. Uninstall and reinstall

I recently moved SC to another drive and mine would do something close to this, no error just not work and it was trying to download to the wrong drive, so maybe its something simple hopefully.

Where to find install drive: Settings > Library Folder

Hello and thanks for your answer. I checked prerequisites and they are all fine. I read about installer issues and tried several things. I reinstalled several times, even tried partitioning the ssd, created a new partition with 200 gig, made a „RSI“ folder in the root and installed the game there.

I found a software (unp4k) to unpack the downloaded archive and it does that without an error. When I start the launcher afterwards an click on verify, the launcher crashes (no response).

Funny thing: when downloading the base pack, the counter never really reaches zero. It stops shortly before and then the error appears.

i attached a logfile from one of my Latest attempts. Maybe it shares some light on the issue.
