Equipment needed :
You need nothing ! Armor and weapons will be provided for the event. The classic rifleman role will consist of a P4-AR rifle with a Behring x4 optic. Specialist roles will be in limited number and they will have different weapons loadout (anti-tank, marksman, machine gunner).
What is this event about :
The goal is to try a PvP ground OP scenario where each side will have their own briefing and an objective to complete in multiple steps. You may think of it like the "Rush" game mode in Battlefield.
For those who don't know what this gamemode is, it is basically an "attack/defend" scenario. There are multiples objectives and the attacking team must complete an objective before moving on to the next one. Victory is achieved either when all attackers are dead or if attackers managed to complete all objectives.
However, depending on the number of players interested, the scenario's complexity and assets involved may change.
The bare-bone scenario is to have the UEE marines engage a Ninetails underground bunker. It will be the main target with NPCs inside and some Ninetails players outside to help defend it.
The mission will at least be focusing on those aspects :
- mechanized infantry battle (mechanized =! armored, so no Nova tonks)
- infantry medium-range engagement
- infantry Close Quarter Battle (CQB)
- EVA boarding and hacking of a comm array
- medical gameplay in a combat environment
- communication between squads
Potential aspects of the mission if we are a lot of players :
- Close Air Support / Dropship / Gunship
- Air superiority fighter
- Ship boarding in EVA
In order to prepare the briefings, gather the loot and prepare the objectives, we need to have an estimation of the number of participants and what they would like to do. If you are interested, please let us know by reacting with either of the emoji below.

Once we have a better understanding of what everyone is willing to do, we will provide teams setup and then you will be able to choose a faction (in order to keep the teams somewhat balanced). Keep in mind tho that this event is focused on ground warfare, so we need a lot of people on the ground and none or only a few in the air.

I just wanted to touch base with you all regarding our plans for future events here at Imperium and SCB. The wait for 3.15 going LIVE has been long and painful. With a full persistence wipe coming in 3.15 (including a reset off our in-games earned aUEC), we have been hesitant to host events that have money-making as a primary goal. Any aUEC we make in 3.14 will be lost with the wipe. Rest assured that when 3.15 does go LIVE, we plan to jump right back into regular events so we can all top-up our in-game wallets!
Another topic I wanted to bring up is the implementation of more in-depth medical gameplay. Up until now, our medical gameplay has been limited to 3 ships with medical beds and medpens/oxypens. With 3.15, many medical gameplay changes will come into play, such as hand-held medical gadgets that can heal yourself and others, various medical drugs with different uses and effects, blood drug level (BDL), the implementation of full-blown hospitals, and the change to the cutless red med bed (unable to set your respawn to it anymore). These changes will have a HUGE effect on how we play the game! While it will be necessary for everyone to become familiar with the basics of these new medical systems, I will be putting more emphasis on medical support for future ops. Hopefully we have some members willing to take on the role of doctor or paramedic to keep us all functioning at our best!
Additionally, 3.15 will bring the implementation of the new personal inventory system. Gone are the days where you can "magically" re-equip your medpens, armor, clothes and guns from an infinite inventory when you are out travelling the 'verse. If you want to equip something, you better take it with you! Most ships in 3.15 will have the ability to store items to take on your journeys. Just make sure to load-up before leaving the station! When hosting ops, we will do our best to bring some extra armor suits, medpens, guns and ammo. However, it will be strongly advised to get used to this new system!
Finally, we would like to get back to hosting regular racing events. Our previous race days have been amongst the most entertaining and exciting events! If there's anybody in our community that would be interested in championing race days, I would encourage you to reach out to me! We could use the help in scheduling additional races and over-seeing their execution. Strength, Training, Courage:
-These are all accolades of our Navy and Marine forces in the Shoresiders Guild. We actively participate in anti-terror activities, and do our best to ensure there is a little less smell of shit in staton. We operate on a large fleet, among many smaller fleets, we have the firepower to wipe out a small fleet on our own. We just need the manpower. Will you answer the call? The Shoresiders Guild looks for those seeking PMC work.
Missions, Not just Contracts:
-The Shoresiders Guild does more than "contracts". Sure, each of our Missions is based off a contract, but there is more to each contract in our missions. Your actions matter. When we do missions, if mission objectives are failed, then there is a different outcome than a success. Mind you the contract can still succeed, but our mission objective can still fail as well. Successful missions are met with smoother easier runs. Failed missions are met with a longer harder journey to go through, with more bumps than smooth road.
A Guild, not an Org:
-We are a guild because there is a closer connection inside of a guild. We don't identify as an organization, too corporate. The Shoresiders Guild is lead by two leaders who have the experience and the skills to ensure you learn more and feel successful This is not some member count kinda organization, this is a guild of closely nit units that stand together so we don't fall apart Strong Ranking Hierarchy The Shoresiders guild has a structure and a hierarchy to our ranks, but that doesn't make one person objectively better than the next We made this so each person can view their accomplishments grow over time! We use the ranks to ensure the smoothest gameplay during missions or when just having fun!
A True Difference:
-We want to crash the economy of Hurston Dynamics. Ourselves and a few other organizations are going to be working together over the course of the game's development to see how we can go about successfully crashing this economy. We will blockade trade ports, oversell useless cargo, strip mine Hurston and sell its valuables to Crusader, as Hurston Dynamics enslaves their employees, and we have to stop this life of monarchy from continuing! The UEE does nothing about it, so we will. We will have a fleet to blockade the ports large enough to scare off any bounty hunter, and leadership unmatched. By crashing the economy of Hurston, we can open up ways to evacuate civilians, or fuel the revolution to take Hurston away from the Corporate enslaver's hands and back into the people's.
The Plan is simple:
-Blockade all major Hurston trade ports until the economy of the planet is left to nothing, but also strip mine the planet down below to force its only valuable resources to be such a commodity that other planets would kill to get a shipment from our fleets. Our marines will control all major ground positions and continue to force Hurston security forces away at every interval, keeping the bunkers safe from hostile contact at all chances. The security station that is used to log criminals will be the control station of the operation on the ground, and the work to assault Lorville will be in action, however sending marines into a direct assault of the city would be absolute suicide. We will utilize Nova tanks from a long distance to send artillery to the city and force the security forces to react in force.
The execution must be right:
-Our soldiers must adhere to the motto of everyone out, no one in. If any slip through the blockade they will support the economy of hurston and contribute to the suffering of the workers.

Where: We will meet in the SCB Discord VoIP Events Channel.
What: Try your hand at 1v1 tank battle. Competitors will begin separated by an obstacle. When the start whistle is blown the will advance to eliminate the opponent.
Prize: If the insurance claim gods favor us there will be a single elimination bracket with a Tumbril Nova prize (in the form of 525,000 aUEC).
