Does your wallet still have money in it? (Y/N)

Hah well I figured they'd continue on, didn't spend 4 bill on the franchise to end it right?

Liked the trailer, but wooden Rey is still wooden. Why doesn't she ever visit a cantina and get a drink?

Highlight of trailer?  Seeing Billy Dee Williams again!  Piloting the Millennium Falcon (nearly the last place we saw him)!  The biggest mistake of the last trilogy was them not bringing him back before now.

But who is the Skywalker that rises? Kylo gave up the Skywalker name, and is an evil child-man. If he rises the galaxy is doomed. Maybe Finn is Lando and Leia's secret love child, and the reason Leia and Han had a falling out?  But I think, assuming the obvious Kylo answer isn't it, is that they'll say Rey was virgin-birthed like Anakin, and thus she's a Skywalker.  They both have instinctive knowledge of the force instead of trained, they both come from unknown parentage. It makes sense, its just kinda lame because her character is lame (as was Anakin's virgin-birthed story).

Palpatine laugh at the end... maybe they are going back to the printed fiction now that the fans hated the first two movie scripts? Except I always though the Emperor coming back because lol clones was stupid, even before I saw any movies after Episode VI.  I hope that isn't it, unless the alternative was worse.

I'm done with being hyped for Star Wars.

I was hyped when the prequels were coming... and they were very dissapointing.
I was excited when The Force Awakens was coming... and it left me wanting.

And don't even get me started on The Last Jedi.

Yeah.. I'm not getting hyped anymore for this. I'll probably go see it but my expectations are very low.
At this point it's like getting excited for a new EA game. I'll believe it when i see it.

I'm with you, Fizzle.  Kennedy and Abrams trashed the franchise with these films.  no New Jedi Order... no New Republic... somehow after defeating the Emporer 30 years earlier they're just recycling plots and circumstances... and plots with 50,000 plot holes.

I could go on for pages, but first off and on it's face beyond what I already said was trashed ... WTF matters Master Jedi status, Padawans, Knights, etc... when Rey can just go right to Force Level 40 without any experience, pull things out of her ass in proficiency, and then go up against seasoned Force users like Kylo and not be immediately sliced in two.

It's all a freaking joke now.  If I ever saw Abrams on the street... and this the douche that blew up Vulcan in his first act of rebooting Star Trek previously.  What an utter douche.

To be honest I liked the Star trek reboots. It's a alternate universe but it was enjoyable.
The Force Awakens was also enjoyable, though as you said.. Rey pulling incredible feats of Force manipulation out of her butt without any training immediately set her up as a Mary Sue.

damnit.. you got me started. Here's a rant!

The Force Awakens set up so many questions. Where did The New Order come from? Howcome they were able to build a planetsized doomsdayweapon without anyone knowing or stopping them? With what resources? Who are Rey's parents? Who the heck is Snoke and where did he come from? I could go on but you get where I'm going. The movie hit the same story beats as A New Hope on purpose, but all in all it wasn't too bad. It hit the nostalgia at the right moments, with Han and Chewie on the Falcon, seeing the old cast again.. it was great. We knew Harrison Ford always wanted Han to die in the original triogy so I kind of saw it coming but it was still heartbreaking to anyone who grew up with Star Wars.

one of The Last Jedi's biggest problems was that it pretty much went up to Star Wars fans and said: "Oh you have questions? Too bad, F you!" and answered NONE of them while introducing a shittonne of other questions. Want to know about Snoke? NOPE F*CK YOU HE'S DEAD! Want to know Rey's true heritage, which maybe would make sense of why she's so unnaturally strong with the Force? NOPE, TOUGH LUCK! They were (presumably) just a bunch of nobody a-holes who sold their kid!

The whole sideplot with the casino was unnessesary and pointless. The whole space-chase where ships running out of fuel.. slow down.. in space.. somehow.. insulted my, no EVERYONE'S intelligence. I know it's space fantasy but it was just so.. weird. Also, If you can ram ships at light speed with such a devastating result.. why not use that last bit of fuel of those other ships to autopilot them at lightspeed straight into the fleet? It looked cool... sure, I won't deny that but COME ON!

I would rather have seen Luke Skywalker ACTUALLY TRAINING REY. That would have been way better. It would have make it at least feel like she earned being a bad-ass. But no. She's suddenly an expert at both using a lightsaber AND the force while Luke has digressed to a filthy hermit drinking disgusting blue milk from some alien creatures with tits between its legs. Euw. I know that was done for laughs but come on.. the porgs were enough (which I didn't mind, those porgs were kinda cute).

Luke Skywalker.. who sensed good in DARTH VADER,  the second most evil person in the galaxy, suddenly wanted to kill his own nephew? How the hell does that make any sense? Did Luke try to talk to his nephew about the dark and light? Try to help him with his conflict? Nope.. he just snuck into Ben's (kylo's) room in the middle of the night to kill him in his sleep wth a lightsaber. The only bad-ass scene where Luke "fights" Kylo Ren at the end was kind of cool... but if Luke was gonna die anyway.. he could have went there for real. WE SAW HIS X-WING damnit. GAAAH

In any case, i stand with what i said previously. I'm not getting hyped for this new movie. I'll see it, and hope they manage to salvage something from the trainwreck.

I fell for the trailers of VII and VIII, I won't fall for the third time for that Disney bullsh*t.
For me the true story of Star Wars is told in the Expanded Universe with the Eye of Palpatine, Thrawn and the Yuuzhan Vong and I will do my best to ignore this new timeline the evil mouse tries to push upon people.

January 9th was the 30th anniversary of the ride Star Tours at Disney.  Crazy it's been that long, couldn't count how many times I've been on it.

Curious if anyone know's what this lithograph is worth or anywhere I could post to figure out? Picked it up last night at a charity auction for $150. Haven't been able to find much about it online.
The only information I have about it was the auction description: 16x22 Signed and numbered lithograph of Star Wars by Dave Dorman. This lithograph was originally purchased in 1999 by a Microsoft employee who was part of the MSN marketing team promoting the Star Wars movie the Phantom Menace. The MSN marketing team had priority access to purchase some of Dave Dorman's prints.
