So ive been messing around with my 3D printer and decided to work on a little project making an Oni mask!

Here it is, its almost finished just have to do a few touchups with paint and put a clearcoat over the top attach some straps and it should be good to go!

Nicely printed, getting a successful print from a part that big is not easy. Do you consider spraying some base coat and do some polish to hide the lines? I never used a spray gun before, will definitely pick it up in the future. Looking forward to see your feedback tho : )

Oh wow, I was unable to load those painted photos on the street. The finished paint looks sick... make me wanna buy a spray gun right now [emoji2]

@JosephW It was a 3 part print (4 technically) there is a join just under the eyes where the mask was cut in 1/2, otherwise it was just a bit too tall...then the horns were printed separately as well and glued on after... to prep the piece i sanded -> filled -> primed  maybe 2-3 times then did a few layers of more primer and that got it as smooth as i could get it in a reasonable amount of time

      Hi there,
My name is Scaryspikes and I am a legally blind content creator. I make videos to help new players get into Star Citizen, and stream the game 3 times weekly on Twitch. I recently decided to take my creativity to the next level, watching hours of videos on YouTube to try to learn some photoshop and designing some unique Star Citizen shirts, as well as other merch for my channels. You can find my merch here.
Since starting I've been getting better, and constantly try to get ideas from my community on Discord as to what they'd like to see. I do my best to add new (and better) designs weekly.
I do ALL of the work completely by hand and myself. From the design work, to printing, cutting, and pressing my own shirts. It's definitely been a challenge, especially with a disability. But I've gotten some amazing feedback and want to continue to produce this stuff as people seem to enjoy it
Please feel free to have a look, and contact me if you have any questions. There are links to my channels on the website as well, if you'd like to have a look.
      Thanks in advance
      Scaryspikes

2950 cosplay contest entry, first and last official contest entry for this armor.

Older pics of improvements along the way
Over the last 2 to 3 years, along this journey.. I got to meet Chris Roberts, most of the LA development team, many other backers, new friends, and organize a discord open to all SC cosplayers
      https://discord.gg/5Dx2wrQ

I do not go to conventions or usually meet people unless business related.
Doing this cosplay allowed me the gumption to go to CIG events, make new friends, and do things I normally would never try.
It's been fun! I might finish the rest of the armor at some point for display but, this suit is now retired, more or less.

It's a work in progress, but I wanted to share the progress.  https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3501285

Hey fellow citizens, I have a buddy who is working on a project unrelated to Star Citizen. He is looking to pay a designer to create 10 text-based t-shirt designs and a logo. He already has text for the shirts, he just needs it styled with cool fonts and colors. He wants images on 2 or 3 of them. He is hoping to find a designer that he could work with more in the future.

If you are interested, please let me know and I will get you in touch.
      Thanks!

Looks like the Prowler will be revealed in the anniversary stream...and probably sold.  Presumably they have the design nailed down but would like some inspiration from fan designs:

PS: If you want some inspiration for Tevarin design, this is supposedly a drawing of a Tevarin defense platform:
