Got some testing done and got a stable OC of 5ghz @ 1.35v and the gpu runs at around 2050mhz.... it could boost higher but its hot as hell in Aus right now and the AC can only do so much, so getting the max OC is gonna have to wait till winter :P

What monitors are those? I also debated an ultrawide and two resource monitors. Now that I see them together I wonder if it's just not worth doing three regular monitors and two resource monitors above

The 2 on the side are some Cheapy AOC monitors i got and the UW is an LG one... dont know the exact model number but im happy with them

what was the price on all the bits   in order please . will have to jump up again  if  color issues keep happening.

If you follow the Pc Part Picker link it will (should) show you prices for all the parts in the build .... excluding any aesthetic/misc. pieces

But last i checked it came to around $4800 AUD  (~$3700 USD)... granted i did get alot of items on sales and over time.. so about $3850 AUD (~$3000 USD)

AND 32GB is the sweet spot for stability and for little to few cpu spikes

I was debating getting the 32GB kit or 16GB kit .... and at this point the cost of everything was hemorrhaging my bank account, bleeding out money i decided to save a few $$ and get what was a really good deal with the 3600mhz 16Gb kit.... looking back i should of just bit the bullet and got the 32gb pack.... when prices drop/sales come back i might get them untill then 16 it is :P

could you run both 1080,and the 1070TI  in the same build but not in SLI.

I don't think so... and if you could it wouldn't run very well, different clock speeds, different architecture... AMD had something like that where you could crossfire 2 different cards but the faster one would slow down to the level of the slower one (as far as i can remember) making it somewhat pointless to do.... (the main reason for it was for crossfireing say 2 RX 580's one from Asus and one from Gigabyte with different clock speeds)

TL:DR - With nvidea, you need 2 identical cards for SLI
