A question regarding changing squadrons

Hi, I've been out of the SC loop for quite a while now but with the coming of 3.0 I decided to get into the game again. A couple of weeks ago I planned which direction I wanted to go with the game and it was exploration.

When I first joined I had a redeemer and was aiming for combat ops, which now has changed.

I want to join the main exploration squadron (or part, section, department etc) here at imperium but I can't seem to find out how to actually join a squadron.

I'm posting this here because I assume that the answer is simple and that it is just me not understanding how it's done.

Thanks in advance, P. R

Actually I have one more question. On the SCB portal site there is a site where you can apply for divisions, and I want to be a part of the exploration division. But writing the application it says "What would you say is your personal incentive for reaching out for responsibility as a member of Imperium's staff?". The thing is that I just want to officially be a part of the exploration division, but not necessarily a leader or part of the staff (I would like to be able to make that leap at a later point).

Hope that my question made sense :)

hey @PapaRoyal If you have any questions regarding Units don't be afraid to poke any of the @Unit Support Staff. Also you can find a collection of Imperium Units in the portal here.

Regarding that, you don't need to be part of a specific Division in Imperium. So i have to point you in 2 articles in the WIKI  Academy: Certifications and Operations: Missions

Applying to any division equals on having a Specialist role into Imperium which means working in an administrative capacity  for the said Division.

Hello Papa,

Currently there is no set division a regular member can join like we have in Imperium back when you joined everyone is an equal member of all primary divisions, We do on the other hand have interest tabs now in our portal profile that lets you set up what % you are more interested in one division versus another

My page as an example, after all i don't think every day your going to be doing 100% exploration, you might want to trade some good in one day or go mining!!

If you want to show visually that your more interested in exploration then you can always ask the media guys in the signature forum for a new signature with exploration as your affiliated division
