Chimaera
So, with the end of the Anniversary Sale approaching rapidly, I've sat back and taken stock of what I did this time around. I ended up spending a lot less than I have in previous Anniversary Sales since the Polaris was something of a surprise purchase for me. In the end I was able to do a lot of melting and jockeying around of my ships and packages and was able to get everything I wanted set up (and some ships recovered without needing to do a full price unmelt). Total I spent $170, but was able to take advantage of the sale packages and my Subscriber Coupon to get some mad savings on some of the ship setups I wanted. How'd everyone do? JakeStoanes
I somehow managed to not buy a damn thing. I almost got the Idris, but I ended up backing out as it wasn't a smart financial decision for myself. However, any ship that I was interested in buying really wasn't on sale, so I didn't bother. If they had put up the Polaris, I probably would have gotten that, but I didn't see it anywhere. I also didn't really care for the variants that they made, which was basically paying more for half-assed loadouts and a paint scheme - none of which I actually liked. Not saying they were terrible and other people wasted their money - before anyone gets upset - but for me personally, it just wasn't worth the money. GeraldEvans
I picked up a BMM CCU from my LTI Khartu 'al and will CCU my M50 package into the Scout to get it back. That was it. I'm wrestling with an 85X just to have one, but since I know I can't put it in the Carrack and they haven't released any information about shuttles to the Reclaimer or Orion I'll likely hold off. I'd love to do a package shuffle but they never work out for me.
CC-Corp
$50 on the x85 and spent 15$ in store credit on the comet upgrade, that was it, just not in the mood to spend any money on them with only seeing what they have, probable just jealous they get to fly around planets and land on them but i don't kinda deal
Amy Babe
this is the list of my purchases during these anniversary sales: I ended up storing for $160 of CCUs. I also replaced my 3 years insurance landing bay + medical bay for 4 years insurance ones My plan is to melt my current carrier air wing package(carrack, endeavor, cutlass red, starfarer G, polaris, superhornet, sabre) and upgrade later on to the very same composition, taking advantage of the expected price increases on banu merchantman and hullc. with the saved money, i'll purchase a reclaimer and/or the secret aegis concept. Booster Terrik
I bought a shitload of 0$ CCU's in case CIG decides to screw up my current ships I currently own a Gemini, Phoenix, and BMM (and a $10 CCu from Gemini to Carrack) and I got all possible 0$ CCU's for their prices: I can go for a Redeemer, Reclaimer, Endeavour, Hull D and Crucible. I really hope I don't have to because I prefer the ships I currently own (although I will most likely CCU my Gemini to a Carrack because i hate the FPS layout of the Gemini). faquarl25

That's it ... and .... errr ... also a prowler, but with shopcredits (the only ship of SC I bought just because of its shape) GeraldEvans

Danakar Endeel
I spent $0 and just moved some store credit around for CCU's and managed to upgrade one of my UEE Explorer Packs to get a couple big ships I wanted. I also got several $0 Redeemer-to-BMM CCU's because I suspect that thing is going to increase to $350 or something soon. Personally I think my little fleet is starting to come together quite nicely. Snakebyte
I have used this week to get all the limited ship CCUs I want and they are all from the standard ships, so I can change my mind later. I've realised that applying CCUs too early just makes it harder later on, so I'm going to keep everything as ships and CCUs as long as possible. My cash purchases were a Prowler, unmelting a Digital Colonel to gift to my son and buying a discount starter pack on his account. I'll gift the starter pack back to me, as it doesn't have Sqn 42 and will provide me the second char for a number of ships in place of the Digital Colonel. When the game goes live, I'll trade the Auroa MR for my other son's AMD Mustang Omega. I Also bought an Andromeda to Caterpillar CCU off the grey market for $36, so I can upgrade some of my ships for less, but the other upgrades were all bought with credit. I thought about selling the Prowler and getting a CCU to it for one of my existing ships, but I did some Excel maths and worked out that I'd spend half the money I could make on the Prowler sale buying the CCU and end up with one ship less, so I binned the idea. /Edit I've done some more Excel maths, to try and work out how much each ship has effectively cost me after all my bargains and trading. I haven't sold a lot of ships, but the 15 items I've sold over the last 3 years have offset my total cost by a reasonable amount and I've also bought discount packs and the odd grey market bargain. This means that my actual ship costs are as follows: Polaris LTI - $469 Prowler LTI - $247 Reclaimer/Crucible LTI (TBD) - $229 Carrack LTI - $219 Banu Merchantman LTI - $168 Sabre LTI (package) - $130 Terrapin LTI - $129 Super Hornet LTI - $103 350R LTI (package) - $92 Cutlass Black LTI - $64 Dragonfly LTI - $29 Aurora MR 3mths (SC only) - $26 Apologies if this comes across as gloating, as I don't mean to. I'm just really pleased with what I've managed to achieve, even though it has taken me 3 years! AstroJak
Fizzlefuse
I kept it to one purchase; a Sabre-to-Reclaimer CCU. With a coupon for 5 bucks I kept the damage at €

Basard
I bought back a Hull C (LTI) with store credit and CCU'd it to a 2nd BMM. I spent $0 as I had around $700 from melting my old Transporter pack, inwhich I CCU'd my Carrier Air Wing to all this. Not to mention I have a Endeavour Master set, Glaive and 6 Omegas. :S
GeraldEvans
Nice fleet @Basard! @Praetor @Kagdama Looking forward to seeing you both blot out the sun Praetor
Doopsums
I spent a whopping $17.50 and did some melting, upgrades, and credit buy backs. Fleet includes Redeemer, Super Hornet, Sabre Comet, Carrick and a BMM. I'll probably buy back my MIS and dragonfly next month. I think most of the older backers are pretty set on their ships. As the funding years go on, these sales will only continue their spiked trends if they can continue to bring in new backers throughout the year(so they can load up on ships during these sales events. Curious if/when there will be a market saturation.... We still have more income generators to look forward too including the Origin 600 series, Misc Racer, Anvil Hurricane, and that secret aegis ship.
