Xi'An - Volper

Below is an old concept image for the Xi'An Volper and an Old RSI post so this isn't really a spoiler.  It has been in the works for some time now...

Big-Bad-Wolf  on Reddit did find what is likely to be a new concept image for the ship on a quick screen shot on an older (but recent) ATV....

^^^ In the Upper Left Corner is likely the Volper with the Xi'An Cargo Ship (which we have seen leaked) in the upper middle and upper right would be the Khartu-Al.  The Right side of the screen is inspiration photos and common patterns created for the Xi'an.

If you do a search under Volper images you come up with the ones I've posted. The Xi'An Volper has been in developement since 2014 (we know this - see the link posted in OP) - and probably even earlier than 2014. There have been various images that could be prelude images to the Volper or Khartu-al - example are the two images below.... first one could be Volper (and has listed in its Image Link Address "Link_fighter_bomber") and the second one we know is Khartu-al - but neither of them match the current images of each (in the Spoiler image - from ATV - posted in OP).

Looking at that last picture with all the hinge points it seems like the whole ship could fold up into a relatively sleek bullet shaped form. I wonder where the weapons are though in that picture ...

Well last week CIG talked about working on two different new ships that they couldn't talk about - but think he spilled the beans on one of them this week (the not directly but it sounds like the cockpit animations were tricky - so likely the Volper) at: 9:36m into ATV

Another chart showing the Volper has been in the works for awhile now.... and it list it as muli-crew so it will probably be a 2 person "light" bomber like the Gladiator (again - AopoA specializes in "Light" craft per the Xi'An lore). See this older Ship Status page from CIG...

At the time they didn't know if they were going to release them to the players yet this post is almost a year old now from CIG

Ok, I thought that was a long term plan. If it wasn't, was it a quick way to get extra funds?
