Which profession field do you think the Phoenix is best suited to serve in?

I feel like the Phoenix has the ability to be useful in any field...depending on the configuration the captain chooses to go with.

I dough most of VIP(s) will be willing to be transported on a dirty military ship

it will also work okay for transporting goods and it's has the "hidden compartment" 

but being a connie you can probably swap out a lot of the interior and make it work for whatever you want

It's still a Constellation, which is considered a Jack of all trades. That said, its a luxury edition, so I see it doing more passenger/VIP transport like Org executives.

if the Connie is as modular as originally pitched, the Phoenix Hull would be best suited for almost anything; maybe except for exploration since the hull isn't designed to fit extra fuel tanks as the Aquila does.

I bought my Phoenix as my main everyday multipurpose ship. But that depends hugely on how modular the interior is of course. So hopefully I can replace the jacuzzi with cargo space on a weekday and put it back in Sundays for a party

What role would a phoenix play in the org when there are so many other ships better suited to C&C?

Just VIP charter (which would be counted as T/I) and meeting with representatives from other orgs. Or being pretty and heavily armed. That's what it's best suited for IMHO.

Small VIP Transport , There will likely be a lot of "npc ceo" that needs transporting etc. 
Good stats (upgreads)and the Point defence system should help a bit vs torpedoes

All great answers, looks like I'll be joining T&I. I'd assume I'd have to be a more trusted/active org member for my ship to be utilized for C&C as well as Cross Org diplomacy.

I will share my Phoenix idea even though I wanted mine to be unique. My thinking is that the large power plant would be a great platform to install EWAR terminals, EWAR weaponry, and anti-EWAR systems. However I also think that with all these systems the Phoenix could also be a great platform to also install enhanced scanners, sensors and communication arrays making it great for C&C. So my overall goal is to have an EWAR/C&C Phoenix.

Yeah I suppose that is true... The rarer the ship the more difficult/expensive to fix/replace. So I am sure insurance claims would take longer.

Since the Aquila's supposed to be the exploration variant, I'd put the Phoenix as the T&I VIP/passenger transport ship.  Granted, you could possibly rig it to function however, but at the end of the day, its base function seems centered around the transportation of important persons.

It could also technically count as a flying apartment space, similar in function, yet bigger and badder than the Mustang Beta.  I don't know where we qualify flying apartment space ships.

I see the Phoenix as a Jack of all Trades.  Though with the default load out and an installed C&C module it would excel at leading a squadron of fighters/attack craft.  I love the load out, not in love with the internal look, I like my ships to be grittier.

In my opinion Phoenix would better be a T&I ship. However if you really want to discover new things in space and be in a luxurious ship at the same time, Phoenix would be a good Exploration ship as well. Now it's up to you, bro.
