Skywind Update- August

Here's a sneak peak of their August update with Skywind. But, what is Skywind?

Skywind is a non-commercial, fan made modification for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that seeks to merge the amazing world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind with the enhanced graphics and capabilities of Skyrim's engine. While ownership of both games is required to play, the player only actually plays Skywind using the Skyrim game, and not the older Morrowind game. This means that the user interface, combat, graphics, and system requirements for the Skywind mod are all those of Skyrim, and NOT Morrowind.

Pretty interested in this.  I played Oblivion first, then tried to go back to morrowwind a couple years later.  Just couldn't get past its aged graphics, some of the inventory and mechanic differences between the two.  I'm sure if i'd started with morrowwind I wouldnt have had a problem, but by the time I trie dit I'd spent probably 500hrs with oblivion, so going backwards hurt.

I started with Morrowind on the Xbox and when Oblivion hit I didn't really like it. I maybe spent 200hrs in Oblivion then never touched it again lol I heard Skyblivion is really good though. It's finished too I believe.

Yeah I still haven't enjoyed an Elder Scrolls game as much as Morrowind or Daggerfall. It feels like each new TES game just rehashes Morrowind and instead of adding features they actually take away features.

you all make me sick I have played since daggerfall all bow before me,  it would be hard to play an older version if one had never played it before.

I never played any of the Elder Scrolls games except Skyrim, which I absolutely loved. This project looks great.. I look forward to trying it out.
