KuzmaVolkov
Was busy with college, then I was busy with work and now I'm busy trying to build a tower that can run the game on a budget. This is what I've got so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HzZxdC Any ideas for the GPU? Trying to only spend $380 or so for it.
Juntau
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487090 Even though there is a perceived issue with the card actually only using 3.5g to process video, this is still the best "bang for your buck" card on the market to date. Fits your budget as well. KuzmaVolkov and Gremlich
Doopsums
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487088 or this one, little cheaper AND the boost clock is about the same...plus you get two free games and the mail in rebate of 15 bucks . Minted
970 is a good card but will it be good enough for the final SC product though? I mean it might just about do on 1080P with high settings but we don't know how resource heavy the game could be. Probably best to hold off for as long as possibly or save up and get a card which we know should handle the game.
Gremlich
I recommend waiting, if you already have a system that will run AC "okay", until Cyber Monday. That being said, EVGA is having sales on mobos, GPUs and power supplies. You can get a GTX670 FTW black ops edition for $90 (that will run AC well until you can pony up the cash for a GTX900-series for other deals, go to EVGA's website and look in their "B-Stock" area. Gremlich
Make sure the mobo can take 2 more 8GB RAM sticks, you're gonna want 16 GB RAM eventually.

If I run AC and then try to run a browser on a 2nd monitor it pretty much maxes out on the 8gb of ram. 16gb is definitely needed to be comfortable.
