MISC Reliant - Mini Hauler & Variants

Recommended Posts

Reliant variant prices just changed on the Ship Upgrades page

  • Reliant Tana - $75.00
  • Reliant Sen - $85.00
  • Reliant Mako - $95.00

Personally I think those prices are way too high for what they offer in return. In my opinion the Tana was already pushing it at $65 compared to more viable and cheaper alternatives. Then again the 'tier 2 starter' Kore going from $50 to $65 back in 2016 was already bonkers imo; especially with the cheaper yet more viable Avenger Titan and 300i.

However.... I think the Sen and Mako are still good deals at those prices for specialized profession ships ;)

The Reliant variants are currently for sale again. If you pay with cash you can get them as Warbond at the old/original price while the Store Credit versions now use the increased price (+$10).

Both versions come with 6 months insurance.

Apparently the camera is working on the Mako.

Quote

The Reliant Mako is meant to be the first "News Van" in Star Citizen with a gimbaled camera which can be operated by the co-pilot. Note: I pressed "G" to unlock the Gimbal and used a gamepad (which needs fine tuning). My first impression: There is potential but to get good footage you need to get rid of the crosshair and the HUD (here: armistic zone icon) and deactivate those stupid chromatic abberation and distortion lines. They are nonsense.

3.5.0 is live and this bug affects all reliant's.

'Delivery boxes can fall through the flooring of some ships'

A redditor stated the boxs sometimes fall through immediately, and sometimes when you switch to flight mode.

Another stated placing the box on your bed seems to be a good workaround, so its worth trying.

So, since i have been flying a lot in 3.3 and now 3.4 i seem to be going all over the system. Sometimes i find it that my ships are at different ports and i dont want to file a claim and then pay to have it "brought" back to the port iam currently in. My question is this, when playing the game when it goes "live" are we going to have a home port we are going to play out of? (carriers? what size can we store in them?) Are we gonna get lazy and leave ships everywhere and just recall them? Would we purposely leave certain ships at certain stations just because of what ships they are? IE hammerhead with the main fleet and guild base?

What are our plans as a whole for this?

My plan i think would be keep my solo ship and a few others based out of one location and base the bigger ships with the guild? But i honestly hate having my ships everywhere even now with what little ports we can fly outta lolool or if the bigger carriers allow for port storage just home base outta the carrier?
