VoA
Agree - I would have liked to see the thusters extend but the telescoping spine with folding storage arms is more critical. Still it is looking sweet
VoA
Monthly Report The team finalized geometry on the Hull C’s folding section and blocked in materials, then moved onto finishing the mechanical rig to make sure it operates without any collisions. The front of the interior went through an initial lighting pass and is now being polished to make the areas more cohesive. The rear of the interior has been blocked out and each room is now being modeled.
Fizzlefuse
Great to finally see the big, non-combat ships getting some much needed love. These videos we keep getting of very atmospheric scenery, with weather effects and such, fuel the imagination. I hop Star Citizen's actual weather effects will look as impressive. As they figure out all the systems on the Hull C, I imagine the other variants aren't far behind.

GRIZZ
Hull C Quote The Hull C exterior nearly completed its detail pass, and will soon move on to the final stages of having its proxies, LODs and damage setup. The interior is also well on its way to completion; all that’s left is the final room in the back of the ship, which is nearly complete, while the collapsible tunnel section is up next. GRIZZ
Quote the Hull C is art complete and ready for other departments to work their magic. They are also reworking the landing gears of numerous ship to make them compatible with the new compression system. I'm not positive these are the Hull C photos, but they align to the above quote, and look the part. VoA and Fizzlefuse
Fizzlefuse
So, here’s a question: after the hull C is finished.. which way will CIG go first.. make the smaller A and B or start on the D and E? My money is on the smaller ships. Gremlich
Devil Khan
A-B will be faster as there is less rooms to make (a lot less). D-E are going to be bigger, but C was a blueprint for those 4 other ships. So D and E going to be able faster now that they have/will be C finished. However, which one will be next who knows out of CIG? A-B could get them done as they would be pretty small craft.

Now the question is will CIG allow us to attach other ships to the cargo spindels on the Hull Ships to haul them from system to system? There is a precedent for this in from my favorite Sci-Fi genre (series and movies) - Babylon 5 Now with the Drake Kraken likely to be the next Concept sale.... it will likely mean that the Hull E will be able to carry small ships per below (where the Kraken can carry Medium Ships)

buzby x
Do we know if the larger Hulls can be extended incrementally? Or will we have to stretch out completely even if we're only carrying one box?
Devil Khan
According to concept, they aren't the same with extra cargo. They don't want to give you extenders.
