EVGA B-stock items on sale as of 23 October

I got a refurbed GTX970 SSC for $200 to run 2xGTX970 SSC SLI for a total GPU cost of $510

so, the specs for the 970 SSC are with an OC to 1323MHz (use EVGA's Precision X 16):

1190MHz GPU Clock
4096MB GDDR5 Memory
7010MHz Memory Clock
224.3GB/s Memory Bandwidth

EVGA have a few of the GTX980ti for under $370, the GTX980 FTW for $300, the GTX970 SSC for $220

I recommend going SLI cheap now until next year with the new GPUs. Other wise, you'll end up paying out minimum of $450 for a single 1070 when you can get better performance with SLI with your existing tech level. Remember, once they tune Dx12 to perform RAM-stacking, you'll get double the GPU RAM to use.or so they say)

Also on the b-stock page are power supplies like a 1000W G2 for $100.

I have a GTX 980 Ti Gaming ACX 2.0+ (06G-P4-4991-KR)

Am I better of trying to get another of these? All of the B stock cards are better. Higher clock, higher power draw, 16 pin power instead of 14 pin.

Can't argue with the price, but I'd like to make sure I'm not going the wrong direction.

Gremlich, let me know if you find any really good deals on Solid State Drives and HDD's. I am looking to probably grab a 128gb SSD to put my windows on, and then a 1-2TB HDD to put everything else on. My 500GB HDD just isn't nearly enough space anymore. Money is kind of an issue, which is why i'm just asking if you find any truly outstanding sales for those, please let me know. I've been keeping an eye out myself.

I recommend a minimum 240gb SSD. I use a 128gb Crucial M4 just for SC. Microcenter has been having some great deals on SSDs and sign up for Newegg email alerts instead of waiting for me to post. Samsung, Crucial and Intel are your best buys, even considering cost. Stay away from OCZ, I had two brick on me. PNY might be okay if they use a good controller.  Here is a great deal on the Crucial MX300 2.5" 525GB SATA III TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT525MX300SSD1 , http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4P04RM5561
 I found.

You can pick up a 1TB HDD for storage for $60 and get a 250gb or so for $80. Sometimes the 250-256 GB SSDs can be had for a little less. I got a 500gb Samsung evo 750 for $135 from microcenter to replace my 250gb evo 850

I actually have their email alerts, which is why I mentioned I have been looking. I actually really appreciate the extra advice, and the links. I will definitely look into both.
Do you have any personal suggestion on HDD's as well? I normally go with WD - though I forgot which colors were best/worst, it has been quite some time since I built up the memory for my computer.

EVGA's b-stock page has GTX 970 SSC 3975-KR ACX 2.0 GPUs for $180

other GTX 970 SSC (2975-KR and 3979-KR) are going for $200 on the site --  if you have a weak card and you're cheap like me, get 2 x GTX970 SSC 3975-KR GPUs for a total of $360 and shipping. I'm running a 3975-KR and 3979-KR and they are essentially the identical card.

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti CLASSIFIED GAMING ACX 2.0+ for $340

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC GAMING P/N: 06G-P4-4992-RX also for $340
