My immediate family wants to sell jewelry, and they want to build a website to start off. As for now they're going for Go Dady, but I think with the help of a few of the people who built this site, they could do a lot better. If anyone who helped built this site is reading this, please pm me. My family could use your help.

using those "build you own website" websites are a pain to use

if you can't find a template you like you are stuffed cause you can't change the templates enough to suit your requirements

if you find a template that works then its  easy to do basic editing of it if you can get used to using the editing tools they provide

those sites are good for hosting websites off but if you want to use there eCommerce stuff depending of the pricing of there packages they can be expensive

if you or someone you know can build descent websites then you could save a lot of money over all by just paying for hosting and the domain

in my experience i have found that just building a website in Dreamweaver then paying them for only hosting and domain is the easiest  and most cost effective way of doing a website

What site are you talking about? SCB?

But to answer you question:
I only can recommend you to use Wordpress + the proper plugins (for gods sake, stay away from website builders...they're horrible).
There are tons of skins/templates like that on themeforest. Most of them are easy to customize. At most you have to do some changes within the files itself, but even that is easy to handle without much knowledge.

I once bought one for personal purpose. It's called "Oblivion".
Though I ended up dumping the whole thing (because I realized I had no use for an own website) the theme itself was great. It's also WooCommerce ready (a plugin you'll love for selling stuff). Well, right now it's just wasted money since I no longer have a use for it.

I second Wyvyrias. WordPress + a theme from Themeforest is the way to go. Very easy to work with. Then since your family are selling jewellery, an added shop front plugin like woo commerce would do the job. Just make sure and use wordpress.org not wordpress.com as you will need the greater control provided by .org. Also make sure the theme you buy is made by someone who will continue to update it otherwise you will end up having to get a specialist to perform future updates. Themeforest is an ideal platform for this as you can see the sellers feedback and support levels and also how long they continue to offer support for their themes.

I recently built a website (http://audio-fantasy.com/) listing the best sci-fi and fantasy books but have not had time to update it recently. This has been built using the above method. You will find all the tutorials and help you could want with regards WordPress builds and installation with a simple Google search. The platform is so well used all questions have been asked and answered by the community.

Hope I helped a little. Good luck!
