Build help Setting up a build for my brother

Recommended Posts

I will ask you again, because I got an awesome build for my own PC last time the forums helped me out. This time I'm on a lowered budget of $1050 for my brother.

Do you guys know what parts I should get to get max out of this budget?

Thanks in advance!

Answer this.

CPU: Intel or AMD

GPU: Nvidia or AMD

Motherboard: High-end or Low-end

PSU: High-end or low-end

(I'll budget for different things depending on this)

What do you or your brother plan to use the PC for?

Is time a factor?

Do you have any current parts that can be used in a new build?

Do you plan to make it better as more funds become available?

The PC is for gaming. It does not matter if it is intel or AMD, we just want to get the best possible gaming rig for the budget, with a slight thought of minor upgrades in the future (gpu/cpu)

We hope this build lasts arround one and a half year before upgrading. So yes, when funds are avaliable next year, we are looking at a possible upgrade.

Parts we already have: HDD (128gb ssd for system) - Case mid tower.

Taxes are 25% - Hopefully I can get the same parts at our shops. If it isnt cheaper to get it shipped with the taxes.

I'm comfortable OC'ing a CPU. If the cooler is good enough :)

Shipping is normal rates I guess, depending on the shipping method/firm
