Good day all, I have been researching and trying to decide what exactly i wanted to use my C2 Hercules for. I am very interested in the capabilities that the ship provides and i want to be able to use it in the Logistics field. I was looking at either being hired to transport military vehicles, weapons and cargo. Depending on the prices of loads, escorts may be in involved with a % of the sales paid to the escorts or the escort company. Any advice on this?

Hello. Currently I have for bounty hunting these ships: Avenger (upgrade to Sabre prepaired if something goes wrong with it), Cutlass Blue (upgrade to Sabre prepaired if something goes wrong with it), Vanguard Warden with Harbinger BUK (upgrade to Redeemer prepaired if something goes wrong with it). For race, fun, fast delivery: M50, Mustang Omega. For cargo and some exploring: Hull B and Freelancer Dur. My problem is that I'm thinking to melt Hull B, Freelancer Dur and unmelt my Carrack. Seeing that Carrack can haul 1058 cargo, Hull B become useless. Carrack=explorer by default, clearly is better then Dur. All have LTI but now is not about this. What should I do ?? What would you do ?

Looking forward to being a Star Citizen and contributing to the Imperium. I have a Hornet and a Freelancer to support my interests. As a loyalist and an early sponsor (Nov 2012), I have the early ships and chose not to upgrade though I enjoy the idea of multi player ships and missions. This is going to be KILLER!!!!

So I was looking at the current ship roster and it kind of struck me as odd that there was only 2 transport ships. Then upon further reading i discovered that even these are used for combat. I'm wondering if there is any info on Freighters. Like a straight up transport ship with minimal defenses just made for trade. I like to play the market, buy in bulk at low price then sell high, whether to players or to npc. I absolutely loved hauling on Eve, so that was my main role. With this comes things like smuggling perhaprs as well, as I have read there is some highly illegal items around. Not sure how this would work but I'd be interested. I think this would be a viable path, whether it be a giant freighter that has to hire other players to bodyguard it on its voyage or a small cargo ship making a small profit on short trips. There is so many possibilities. This also goes for mining ops, with a transport ship the mining ship could stay and mine (provided there is trade of goods in space). So, any info i may have missed would be appreciated, and general hauler discussion
