Is immersion, and are haptics, still relevant? Sony has recently revealed their new controller... and it looks like they've replaced the usual rumble pad with actual haptics and force feedback. In their blog post, Sony detailed the "variety of powerful sensations" haptic feedback can bring to gameplay, like "the slow grittiness of driving a car through mud." Haptic feedback is the same technology behind the Nintendo Switch's HD rumble and we know the Xbox Series X controller will make use of it as well. Probably the most famous haptic controller in this community will be the Mi
$400 and will be Playstation 4 only "Sony also touted that it was designed with comfort in mind, which is important for daily use. " <-- whatever that means
Since we're fast approaching E3 2015, I was wondering if there are any plans by people. I know I watch all the live streams every year and try to get as much info in as fast as possible. I didn't even let the time differences stop me whenever I was in Germany and not in the US still. Now having moved back to Germany, I'll do the same once more. So, perhaps gather with some people on TS, set up an E3 Channel for the duration of E3 and then people can hop in there during the livestreams and talk about it?
