    Trade and Running Freight

Greetings, finally the game seems mature enough to bother setting up my HOTAS and buying and selling stuff in the verse. I have loaded my Freelancer with about 19 commodities from Agricume at 25.72 a unit, to Waste at 0.09 and have been flying around mapping out who sells and buys what commodities and at what price. I have some data on revenue based on the amount you need to invest in the cargo. I have noticed that prices vary at some locations, I suspect based on the degree to which the demand is satisfied so it is possible that margins on runs will change if they become too popular. This variation could also be random, just logging in and out of the terminal has changed some of the pricing. Best return so far for investments under 10,000 is Processed Food at 836 a run. Investments up near 20,000 you can get up to 1,900 a run for Stims. At 35,000 or so you can get up to 2,350 a run for Distilled Spirits. The big dog so far is Medical Supplies for 130,000 earning 7,200 a run. I have not made any of these runs as my cargo compartment is filled with crates of different commodities so I can see who is buying what and for how much. These numbers assume 7600 units per run which seems to be the count regardless of material volume or weight (100 commodity units per cargo space unit regardless of the commodity). The more of us running around the faster we can map the area and make trade roots. I have not figures all the jump lanes, but from different locations you jump into orbits at different locations requiring additional jumps so developing the best trade routes will require good jump maps. If you have further information to share, please do.

For instance, if we plan a massive expedition or mining session, all members may partake. Think of your specialization as a category you’re most interested in. Although our roles may seem military in nature, we are primarily a freelancing organization. A friendly community is our goal. We have zero tolerance for pirating (hunting pirates is encouraged). 3. Website Organization Page Recruitment Information TeamSpeak IP: fighting13th.teamspeak3.org THE CURRENT The Fighting 13th is seeking pilots and soldiers willing to face combat and act with discipline. Training will be provided for both novice and expert pilots, as well those with skill levels anywhere in between. The Fighting 13th is also in search of potential leaders to take commanding roles of combat squadrons, as well as other departments discussed below. The current goal is to become a well-known PMC and establish clear roles as well as methods for revenue. The Fighting 13th will be a name that, when mentioned, pirates, smugglers, and other criminal scum will shudder at. THE FUTURE After establishing a strong base as a PMC, the Fighting 13th plans to undertake many other professions of the universe, such as engineering, exploration, mining, racing, trading, transportation, and the like. The goal is to become a self-sufficient organization, with all the departments lending their services to other departments, such as Security providing defense to Transportation, Engineering supplying Racing with top-of-the-line components, Mining providing resources to Engineering, Exploration obtaining the coordinates to rare resources or parts, and so on. The sky isn't the limit -- in fact, there is no limit anymore. Fighting 13th is now recruiting for our fleet in Star Citizen! The Fighting 13th was established on July 21st, 2009 (under 13th MEU moniker before) and been active ever since. We have 150+ members from all over (see our member map) for the different games we play, such as ARMA, CS:GO, War Thunder, World of Warships, and more. We are a casual clan open to all who meet our requirements. We do a fair amount of competitive gaming and partake in and host events and operations. We give our rates/ranks for leadership and experience and there are dozens of awards you can earn to be showcased on your profile and posts. We value teamwork, respect, community, camaraderie, and the main goal of having a blast with each other, whether late nights or throughout the day. We are looking for those: 1) 17 years or older 2) Who own a working microphone (Teamspeak 3 as well) 3) Who have a team-focused mindset 4) Able to behave moderately and be able to listen and follow directions (and able to think for themselves as well as lead if needed) 5) Able to commit a few hours each week for clan activities If you're interested in joining, just register on our website here: http://www.fighting13th.com/topic/62-read-first-recruitment-information/
