So I recently bought Star Citizen to play with some friends and have fun. I downloaded it and started it up. It takes forever to get from the launch menu to the enter star citizen menu. I have never been able to even get into the game and I have launched the game over 20 times in the past 3 days. Everytime I try to get into the game it loads then freeze then says error code 30000. I have tried everything that has been recommended to me. I have deleted the character file inside the star citizen files. I have reinstalled the game itself. I have changed my WiFi ports. I have logged out and logged back in. I have repaired my account. I’ve deleted everything and started fresh. But no matter what I do I cannot get in I always get code 30000. I have never passed the loading screen within the 3 days and 20 times I have tried to launched and tried to play the game. So I am at a loss and I don’t know what to do. I did speed test to check my internet connection and it said I have good speed or “fast speed” so it’s not an internet issue. I have a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 12gb graphics card and a Ryzen 5 5600 6 core cpu with 16gb ram.

Im kind of new to this game. However I have bought 3 ships already and thinking of buying the LARGE one however you need to fix stupid problems. Pros- Killer game. Beautiful. great combat, and the ideas are solid. All in all im hooked and love the game.. But the cons are going to make me not spend money.. For me biggest Logging and losing everytrhing. OK i can live with this and plan to make sure i have time and have learned to live with it. bugs - Elevators not coming up, have an invisible wall Infront of them, Again ill work around it. missions bugging out... Ok pain but i can live... Griefers.. Mad but i can deal with it BUT now i get going. Play middle of night lower number of players. I get missions and get tons of stuff. 5 guns i use, 3 rare pieces of armor, Some cool new guns to try.. ALL tucked away at a base. I then load my ship fly over to main base to put it with other stuff.. Im landing on my Shervon. And had sound off cause just doing a run. I then get arrested for trespassing and loose everything i have worked for all night. You have to fix this loosing all we work for constantly. I turned myself in and now loose it. Want money and support fix stupid stuff 100 ways to loose everything, Able to loot easier. able to drink easier. A FRIGGIN remote for our ship to open and close door and not hit darn button. Auto doors.. FOR GODS sake wallmart doors been around for years and so has a faub for auto's to open and close a trunk. We are in the future. A damn set of stairs that always work when the elevators dont.. Please i love your game but 20 bloody mouse clicks and pointing at small area's just to take a drink.. WOW... thnx -
Hi all, I recently ran into this problem when I was trying to reinstall star citizen. After the installer finished downloading the initial 10G this error message showed up saying that it needs premission, however pressing the "Fix permission"botton doesn't seem to do anything and I couldn't find anything online regarding this error message either. Anyone seen this before? What should I do?

Failed to verify RSA signature of pak header: data\objectscharacters.pak If you get a error message like this just go to the StarCitizen\CitizenClient\Data folder. Move the damaged file somewhere else and try to launch the game again, repeat until game lauches. After removing junk files: Junk Folder

If you are having the issue that I just experienced where during the loading screen for AC and you get a Connection Error, I may have a fix for you. There was a post in Reddit that lead me to believe that it was a password hash issue (HERE), I tended not to believe it because this is the first time, after many successful logins, that I got this error. Alas, it seemed to be a password hash issue. Now I don't know if it was because of the complexity of my password (it looked something like this ¡¾Åù%Ѹ×Äó×ZÐúàfà ) so I went to the RSI Website and tried changing it to something simple with just normal characters, numbers, and symbols like (Abc#123). Now maybe the complexity wasn't the issue and just changing it was the trick, but there is no way to tell. This worked immediately!! Best of luck to ya, post here if it worked for you, didn't work, or you have a similar issue -- Thanks! EDIT: This fix only works once, the Reddit fix below (which is different than mine) also allegedly works only once (but I have not actually tried their method). You will have to repeat my fix every time you close the launcher/game and try to relaunch it (I will run out of passwords at this rate, perhaps I will try the Reddit fix next). Although it seems that the password hashes are not syncing with the server, so the one hash is only good for that session and when your PC generates a new hash -- the server on CIG's end doesn't clear out and update... or something like that. From what I know about hashes and checksums, I think that hypothesis is probably wrong, but whatever, it's broked! Also, it may have started happened when I tried adding the "pp_rebindkeys layout_joystick_spacesim" command in my system.cfg file. I haven't gotten the error now since I have removed it.- 9 replies
