  1. Read about the new AMD tech here
  2. This artical from wccftech.com Do you believe? https://wccftech.com/vega-teaser-slides-leak-nda/ Sell Your Titan X & 1080 TI That’s right folks. If our sources are correct, you’re holding onto some underwhelming mid-range graphics cards that will be completely decimated by AMD’s newest architecture (at least according to the leaked slides). I am personally blown away by this new info. It’s simply unbelievable that AMD managed to spank NVIDIA so hard, with a much smaller R&D budget. Mind you, we should wait for third party reviews, but the spread this slide suggests is just massive! Check out this glorious slide featuring Vega completely decimating the competition. April fools or not thats up to you to believe.
  3. Ahoj, so we got early benchmarks for AMDs new CPU and they look pretty good. It's an early leak so take it with a grain of salt.
  4. So, Ryzen 5 will be hitting the shelves on April 11th. AMD will be offering two 6 core / 12 thread CPU's and two 4 core / 8 thread CPU's all of which are unlocked. Pricing is as follows: Ryzen 5 1600X -- (6 core / 12 thread) // @3.6 to 4.0 GHz -- $249 Ryzen 5 1600 -- (6/12) // @3.2 to 3.6 GHz -- $219 Ryzen 5 1500X -- (4/8) // @3.5 to 3.7 GHz -- $189 Ryzen 5 1400 -- (4/8) // @3.2 to 3.4 GHz -- $169 -------------------------------------------------------------- The lone performance comparison AMD provided was for the 6/12 1600X was multithreaded performance in Cinebench paired against Intel's 4/4 i5-7600k, and it performed "up to 69% better." This is an odd choice given that no one in their right mind is buying i5 chips for multithreaded performance. In any case, if the 1600X uses the same cores as the 1800X (as one would assume it does), then $249 for a 6/12 chip of this quality is hard to beat. All that's left is for AMD to solve the problem that is causing their chips to lag pretty far behind Intel in 1080p gaming performance, especially considering Ryzen 5 (and the eventual Ryzen 3) are marketed towards lighter workstations and 1080p gaming. The 1800X is as at least as good as if not better than Intel's highest end 8/16 i7-6900k in most metrics, so it doesn't make much sense that it lags so far behind in 1080p gaming performance. (It's probably nothing more than an optimization issue. The numbers simply don't make sense.) The sooner they get this sorted out, the better off all of us will be, Intel and AMD fans alike. Competition is good! Source: http://www.techspot.com/news/68519-amd-four-ryzen-5-processors-launching-april.html

  11. Globalfoundries confirmed today that they have successfully qualified the 14LPP process and delivered working 14nm product samples to AMD. Both companies confirmed via a release issued to the press today that AMD will be introducing CPU, APU and GPU products next year based on Globalfoundries’ “most advanced 14nm FinFET process technology” dubbed 14LPP. AMD confirmed that it will leverage the considerable performance, power efficiency and significant die size reduction enabled by Globalfoundries’ 14LPP process into CPUs, APUs and graphics products spanning personal computers, data centers and immersive computing devices. Lisa Su – Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. – President, CEO We successfully executed many of our near-term tactical priorities in the third quarter, while also taking several key steps as a part of our longer-term strategy to focus AMD on delivering great products, driving deeper customer relationships, and simplifying our business. Highlights include delivering strong double-digit sequential revenue growth in each of our business segments; expanding our product portfolio with the introduction of several new APUs and GPUs that improve our competitive positioning in key markets; forming the Radeon Technologies Group to bring a vertical focus to our graphics business and help strengthen our performance in traditional graphics markets, while simultaneously establishing leadership initiatives in emerging — immersive computing markets, like virtual and augmented reality. Despite the existence of three+ different iterations of GCN namely GCN 1.0 ( HD 7000 series ) , GCN 1.1 ( R9 290 series) , GCN 1.2 ( R9 285 and 380) and Fiji ( R9 Fury X, R9 Fury and R9 Nano) which is based on an updated GCN 1.2 design; according to AMD’s Chief Technology OfficerMark Papermaster there have only been two generations of GCN so far. With the next major iteration – 3rd generation – coming next year in the form of the “Arctic Islands” family of graphics chips. Arctic Islands will feature three major improvements over AMD’s current current R 300 series and Fury series line-up. These include second generation HBM, next generation GCN architecture as well as a more advanced 14/16nm FinFET manufacturing process. The three of which will define the performance and power efficiency characteristics of the Arctic Islands family. On the CPU side we’ve managed to confirm that both of AMD’s next generation high performance x86 and ARM64bit CPU cores, code named “Zen” and “K12” have also successfully completed the design phase and reached tape out and are on track for availability next year and in 2017 respectively. Only five days ago we have also heard a whisper about AMD’s hotly anticipated Zen CPU core meeting “all expectation” in testing with no “significant bottlenecks” being found. GLOBALFOUNDRIES’ 14LPP FinFET is ramping with production-ready yields and excellent model-to-hardware correlation at its Fab 8 facility in New York. In January, the early-access version of the technology (14LPE) was successfully qualified for volume production, while achieving yield targets on lead customer products. The performance-enhanced version of the technology (14LPP) was qualified in the third quarter of 2015, with the early ramp occurring in the fourth quarter of 2015 and full-scale production set for 2016. According to the joint announcement today, 14LPP is in excellent shape. With yields already hitting “production-ready” thresholds. Meaning that the only thing left for 14LPP to enter volume production is for total capacity to meet demand. Which should occur sometime in 2016 as the process continues its ramp-up, which has been kicked off in Q4 of this year. 14LPE is the early access “low power” version of the common Samsung/Globalfoudnries 14nm FinFET process. While 14LPP is the second generation, high performance variant that is set to succeed 14LPE. Despite its name, 14LPP should deliver better performance as well as lower power consumption, the only caveat being its later availability. 14nm FinFET will offer engineers nearly double transistors to play with in the same area as the current 28nm process. 14nm FinFET also has significantly faster switching speeds, which will translate to significantly higher clock speeds compared to current 28nm based GPUs. This is all in addition to the drastic power savings enabled by the smaller feature sizes and the move from planar to FinFET gates. 14LPE – Early time-to-market version with area and power benefits for mobility applications 14LPP – Enhanced version with higher performance and lower power; a full platform offering with MPW, IP enablement and wide application coverage

  14. With the fact now nearly everyone buys a new graphics card after one or three years, Who remembers the first or second ever Graphics card? I was 18 when i bought my 1st Card, Orchid Righteous 3D - 3dfx Voodoo 4MB for just £105 GBP, it was only used in 3D games, when in Windows, the 2D card was used. You could hear the mechanical relay click in when you went into a 3D game like, GTA, Carmageddon, or Jedi Knight. Of course come 2000 i was need of a serious Hardware upgrade, i built a new PC (AMD K6-2 450Mhz). I bought my second ever GPU it was the Creative Labs, Nvidia Riva TNT2 Ultra 32Mb for a mere £150 GBP . I can actually remember every GPU purchase for the past 18 years, but hey thats gaming for ya. What was the first video card you ever bought?
  15. Hello, I bought a Sapphire R9 280 from Amazon and had no idea I would be getting a game code. I thought maybe I'd sell it here for you guys (I don't really like racing games all that much too). I know I've never sold anything here before so I don't have any reviews, but I gotta start somewhere, right? My Paypal is verified too. I'm not sure what price to set it at (Steam has 26$ (on a 25% sale right now), Kinguin has it for $25 and G2A has it for $22 (from the market, $30 from their store)) but no less than $15 USD seems fair? I don't want to deal with Kinguin/G2A because they make me jump through hoops to sell codes like this. If the price is too high or something, just say so and I'll gladly change it. The buyer will be sent the code as well as a screenshot of the email to prove it is the code. * I'm just saving up for TESO since I spent all my spending money on the graphics card. I am on all day (sick) so feel free to message me to discuss it or something. I check the forum every day as well. Anyways....yea! Looking forward to my first transaction here.

  18. Hi, I've got this code from a giveaway today and I'm willing to sell it for 33€ (EUR) or the equivalent in USD ($35), verified PayPal. You will have to go first. 19. Hi folks! Update: Imperium members will receive $5 off all prices except the Cutlass Black So I was staring at the Omega in my hangar, wondering what to do with it - it's an Alpha package so I don't want to waste it – and it hits me. You tell me what you want, and I'll make it happen. I’ve got a bunch of RSI Cred I need to use up and an AMD Omega Package. It's one of the early ones with Squadron 42. And Arena Commander. And Beta. And Alpha transferred onto it. It's like a marriage made in Hadrian II. It’s an Alpha Beta Omega! (heck that's just fun to say. You should say it. Then have a quick look for yourself) So here’s the offer – I will only CCU the Alpha Omega (sic!) to a mid-tier ship ($130+), as I need to make use up some RSI Credit to help pay for my dream ship. You tell me which one you want, I’ll CCU this puppy over to it, send you a photo to confirm, exchange happy glances, and Sha-Bang! You're the proud new owner of a (possibly Limited) Alpha package. Dogfighting module, FPS module, Social module, all included with the Alpha - you won't have to pay for them upon release! Prices include Paypal Fees Here’s a not-very-fancy grid, pick one and it's yours: Ship Package | CIG Pack | Paypal (USD) Alpha Super Hornet package | $180 | $172 Alpha Hornet Tracker package | $155 | $148 Alpha Hornet Ghost package | $140 | $138 Alpha Cutlass Red package | $135 | $135 Alpha Cutlass Black package | $115 | $132 Also, as a perk of buying it as a Cutlass, this package also updates your account with the VFG Industrial Asteroid hangar - normally $50 extra! Keep in mind that I'm in Australia so my hours are probably wacky in comparison to yours. I'll respond as soon as I'm awake or near a computer. This is my third round of sales, I'm Paypal and RSI verified, and fairly active here and on reddit, especially for purchases... lotttsss of purchases. Happy to provide any extra info. I'll be sending a PayPal Invoice to the interested buyer to keep everything above board. Again, listed price INCLUDES fees! That means everything but the Black is under cost!
  20. Source link: http://www.engadget.com/2013/10/04/origin-pc-drops-amd-graphics-options/ Wasn't Origin one of the companies to talk about AMD and their setups at AMD's recent AMD GPU14 Prudct Showcase? Seems weird to "talk up" AMD at their own press conference and then about a week later say they won't be selling computers with AMD graphic cards anymore. Sounds like a low blow to AMD to me. My own opinion, I stopped using ATI/AMD graphic cards years ago, and have never looked back since moving to nVidia. This just continues to confirm my choice! Now just hoping Star Citizen really works with nVidia the same time to make this game just as good using their products.
  21. Hi guys and gals, I have a wonderful, shiny, new Cutlass Blue that I'd love to sell to save up for Viking's Phoenix. I'm selling at BELOW my cost (absorbing the PP fee) since I'm in a good mood about just becoming an Imperium Recruit )) 1 x Cutlass Blue Package, ccu'd from an AMD Never Settle Package - $130 USD ($95 Melt + $35 AMD Pack - NO fees added.. mental) That's a package for $20 cheaper than a standalone. Price is firm now, I'm absorbing the fee and a chunk for a quick sale. Starting Money: 1,000 UECDigital Star Citizen ManualStar Citizen Digital DownloadSquadron 42 Digital DownloadBeta AccessE&I M34 Restraint SystemFACTION-9 BatonVFG Industrial Asteroid Hangar (thanks to the Cutlass CCU)2 Month InsuranceArena Commander Pass Link to the Cutlass is here, showing the upgrade - the upgrade log covers the Arena Commander Pass, but it's there (as it is for all AMD Never Settle Packs). Also, as a perk of having a Cutlass, this pack also comes with the VFG Industrial Asteroid hangar - normally $50 extra! It's not shown on the pack's wording, but all packs upgrade their account holder's hangars according to the ship inside, not the pack itself. So if you're after a ship for the PU, this is the perfect buy - all the agility and firepower and .. rescuing .. of a Cutlass, with an extra size shield over the Black, and the biggest hangar in the game so far. Not ideal for melting, great for gaming! Keep in mind that I'm in Australia so my hours are probably wacky in comparison to yours. I'll respond as soon as I'm awake or near a computer (which is crazy-often), and when my boss isn't staring at my screen. While this is my first sale on this site, I'm Paypal and RSI verified, and fairly active on reddit starcitizen_trades, especially for purchases. Happy to provide any extra info. I'll be sending a PayPal Invoice to the interested buyer to keep everything above board. Listed price includes fees.

Nice little comparison, Enjoy! http://2p.com/9647554_1/Star-Citizen-GPU-Test-A-GTX750-Could-Give-You-30FPS-At-Max-Setting-1080p-by-Blake-Lau.htm http://gamegpu.ru/mmorpg-/-onlayn-igry/star-citizen-test-gpu.html Star Citizen GPU Test: A GTX750 Could Give You 30FPS At Max Setting, 1080p By Blake Lau on Oct 21, 2014 1681 1 Russian hardware site GameGPU recently tested what kind of GPU you may need to run Star Citizen at max setting at 1080p and above. The sandbox space sim is powered by CryEngine 3 and you need a gaming PC to play the game if you are looking for best experience. GameGPU was using a PC with Intel Core i7 3970X @4.9 ghz CPU, 16GB DDR3 RAM, and 120GB SSD for the test. Res: 1920х1080 Graphics: very high Res: 2560x1600 Graphics: very high Res: 3840х2160 Graphics: very high The hardware requirements aren't scary, and for GPU, a GTX750 could give you an average 30 fps at 1080p. But since the game features space dogfights and planetside FPS experience, some of you may consider 60fps the best experience, and in this case, you will need a GTX 780 (3GB). They also ran a CPU test and got the conclusion that CPU won't affect game performance too much when you have a graphics card like GeForce GTX 780Ti installed in your PC. Please note that the game is still in development and the current build doesn't represent final quality. Via: GameGPU

Hi guys! As I am currently gifting away my only Mustang Omega here to lift up the SC Christmas Spirit I am yet again looking to buy 2 Mustang Omegas to fill up my Hangar. Price is negotiable but I am looking for aroung 40-45$ for both. -Heart
  25. That's it. I would like to trade this code for 2 Steam gifts of Dungeon Defenders II Early Access. But wait... if you get that here (the only cheap games/game keys website I trust) you will pay less than the value of this AMD code (at least the value of it in this forums). Check my for rep on trade and selling stuff in other websites. Contents of the AMD code:
