  2. Welcome to my personal hangar. I've been a huge Star Citizen fan since 2014 and it's a great honor to further contribute towards the game development of the by sharing with you, many original concept ships which are no longer available. 4. Greetings citizens! After almost two months of absence, I finally released a new video - this time it's the MISC Prospector commercial, special for the contest by CIG. So, two my videos in a row was made a special for contests - but 3.3 is coming! Which means there will be new content in the game, which means there will be new videos from me The creation of this video was not easy, and I'm not completely sure about the final version - perhaps due to the fact that I looked it 400 times while making edits, and I already tired from it. I hope you will enjoy it. Also, you can support the post with this video in the Spectrum. Enjoy watching!
  5. I done this to my SSD with Star Citizen and it fixed the 1 FPS drops. Video: https://youtu.be/rA3lHNKWb_4?t=226 If you have windows 10, follow the guide on the video, if you have windows 7, just go into control panel, at the top right search for advanced system and click 'View advanced system settings', on the left click [Advanced System Settings]. Next click on [settings] under performance in the advanced tab. Next click on the [advanced] tab at the top, then click [Change], click your SSD drive with Star Citizen on it and click Custom Size, I have mine set to min 18000 and max 40000, multiple your ram by 1.5 on a calculator and use that as your min. This fixed my game dropping to 1 FPS and lagging in general, hope it helps! Side note: RAM is high speed. HDD and SSD are relatively slow speed. The idea of a page file is a "RAM overflow" area set aside on the HDD or SSD. This is a way of cheating some extra apparent RAM into the system but if it gets used there is a performance hit because of the slower speed of the Drive vs RAM. Suggests a sort of "right back at ya" approach, instead of putting the page file on the drive, create a virtual drive partition within RAM, and target the page file there. 'If you have 32GB of RAM, this is not needed.' Its counter intuitive because if you have that much RAM to begin with it shouldn't need to hit the page file at all. This is a way of providing it a page file anyway but at a higher speed. Pretty clever if it works right. It also saves wear and tear on the SSD which have a finite number of read/write cycles. RAM is designed to be rapidly and constantly switched. SSD is designed to tolerate it to an extent but not an infinite one.
  6. Black Star Legion Realism Organization [ Black Star Legion's Mobiglass Portal ] [ Talk to a Recruiter on Discord] [ The Black Star Legion RSI Organization Page ] [ Seeking Early Volunteer Staff Applicants for Member Services ] ======================================================================= <You see a brief message appear on your mobiglass ....> Sector 26-D | Grid Coordinates: 1309N 2633E Desert Region | Elysium Present Day It didn’t take long for them to get famous after Operation Unilateral Force (OUF) hit the wires. Earth needed a major public relations success given the rise in Vanduul attacks against the frontier systems. The 78th Squadron for example became heroes for their strikes against Vanduul targets and the public consumed it, they said enlistments in the UEE Navy and Marines rose for months after the operations went public. What UEE Public Affairs didn’t report however was the loss of an entire task force in another sector. Our mission, blockade the Centauri Sector and deploy offensively out of the Elysium System - land Marines from 3rd MEU in a Direct Action mission against several confirmed Vanduul military logistical centers across the frontier's border, conduct an HTV recovery at a known interrogation facility, hit comm-nodes and logistical nodes to divert Vanduul assets away from the main UEE engagement zones. CTF70's bulk force mission, utilize the capital ships and Marine strike assets from Combined Task Force 70 to hold the jump point, act as a blocking element of the main UEE force that deployed from Ceran during the operations main assault. Lead by the UEES Imperia Tiberius, her escorts, fighters and strategic strike platforms the CTF was fully engaged with a light reserve element holding the Elysium System. High Command; snug and warm deep in the Idris and Centauri Systems said we could expect "light contact" due to the main UEE advance ... ... It was a damn nightmare. Sector High-Command and intel got it wrong, big time. After six days, and the remainder of CTF70 flooding back into Elysium hoping for cover and protection - well UEE High Command didn't even try to mount a rescue … How did they put it? “The sector was overrun with Vanduul and congested with civilian refugee’s, Sol considered the risk unacceptable to mount a rescue. Combined Task Force 70, nicknamed Black Star Legion is an acceptable loss.” … but some of us survived. The UEE betrayed us … they left us with no cover … they abandon us. My name is 1st Lieutenant Vall Ridder. Platoon Commander, 1st Platoon, Alpha Company 1/1, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Unit - Black Star Legion. Myself, along with Lieutenant Cowski, Sgt Redfern, SirPotato, Alli, Nicoma and a few of our surviving capital ship crew, fighter pilots, supply and logistics crews and fellow Marines are looking for those wanting to break from the UEE. Be it casual civilians seeking businesses, or military survivors and veterans wanting to honor those we volunteer to serve and protect here. We ask you to join the independent city-state of Imperia Tiberius; and become citizens of Black Star Legion. ======================================================================= 2018 RECRUITING FOCUS Hello, and on behalf of our small but growing membership, we want to thank you for checking out our thread and hopefully being interested in us. This month with the FPS most likely on the horizon. We are looking for Marines! Our organization is spending the 3.0 series of launches in 2018 centering around a Constellation and her crew, a few Navy fighters and some Marines to solidify a core group of members that will launch us into 2019. We are focusing on the following key activities in 2018: SOP and TTP development to be used by both military and civilian members in coordinated and combined operations Setting up civilian city services and backend systems that will grow in 2019 with expanded membership Building a small support staff and set of staff teams that will help us in some areas we've historically be weak in to improve our performance in building a solid and long lasting organization. Taking the traditions of over 15 years as a RP, PVP, PVE, Raid, Logistics, Crafting, and City oriented guild - molding them to write our permanent future in Star Citizen. While we will accept members, our main focus is bringing in those who enjoy being apart of support staff roles typically found in most MMORPG guilds. (Recruiting, Event Staff, Art & Propaganda, Logistics, Supply, Combat and other specialists.) Steps to Success: 1. Go to our General Recruiting Information and find out more details about us and our goals. 2. Get into Discord or TeamSpeak to talk to a Recruiter and we'll help you apply 3. Submit a Membership Application 4. Attend and complete our brief New Member Indoctrination course 5. Start joining regularly scheduled activities beginning in July 2018 ======================================================================= Hello, thank you for checking us out. We are a realism organization that offers a wide range of unique experiences to both casual seeking civilian members who want to grow businesses, or those who enjoy something more structured in our milsim realism task force. We are driven by a fair and unbiased system outlined in our Master Directives Document giving every member fair and unbiased opportunity. We center ourselves around a 24 sq km group of land plots where we will build a city. Imperia Tiberius is the independant city-state that offers every member a home, anchor and port of safety as they travel the stars. We offer you a story different then most, and an experience that is unique and unparalleled in this game. We are a Star Citizen experience where everything you gain is earned by your output and your membership in a Team. A home where you look to the Aviators, Capital Ship Crews, Marines and Crewmen to your left and right every day. A home where when you log in and go to the Rum Runner Cantina in our city, you meet your friends who are farmers, business owners, outpost directors, elected senators, bounty hunters, traders, haulers, explorers, scientist, Marine Aviators, Naval Aviators - and everywhere in between to figure out the events for the day over drinks and good food. We offer a long term home, where your character can be immersed in functional systems, not contrived RP and your 'next of kin' are welcomed as descendants of your original character. When we say a unique experience, it is because we truly are. We are not doing what 95% of the rest out there do. We're not some sci-fi channel knock off of Battlestar Blackwater. We are built around tried and true methods, a policy driven chain of command, we derive how we do business from SOP's and train like we fight. This experiences comes from years of MMORPG gameplay, experiences ranging from SWG and WOW to EVE and Dayz; some of us even have time in the famed 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (15th MEU) for ARMA III where "realism milsim" is at its absolute finest. We are lead by real life military veterans both active duty and DD-214 holders, as well as civlians who understand gaming and gamers. We are designed from the ground up to provide you one of the most fulfilling simulation experiences in the community - while not sacrificing fun, authenticity, attention to detail, team work, and good solid community gaming. Organization Design: The org is designed to support two basic types of game play. First being our Civilian members. The second being our realism Military component. Civilians: Low time requirements, Low overall structure, Self and group built and managed "businesses". Freedom to pursue wide activities supporting the organization, your goals, and friends with professional military protection. Combined Task Force 70 (CTF 70): Realism Milsim, slightly more time requirements, unit slotting based on the MOS you choose, professional level training. Structured Billeting (similar to raid slotting on roles), , "on-duty" / "off-duty" game time supporting the organization, your goals, and friends. Why do we do this? Why do we put in so much work and time in this organization? We wanted a very solid and scale-able infrastructure in place prior to recruiting to support growth at any level. Star Citizen is (going to be) a very complex game, each of us invests time, emotion, effort - hopes and dreams into our characters and each other. We want to give you, and this org the best we can and that each of us deserves from a game organization. You and the Team around you will enjoy being gamers, while having immersion opportunities rarely found elsewhere in the 'verse. You, and the Team around you will learn to be dependable, respectful, and respectable. You can do the same old same old with everyone else. Or you can achieve a higher level of professionalism, fun, and excellence as a civilian, military member, or periodically transfer freely between the two within Black Star Legion. We offer YOU the challenge of Black Star Legion

    Game Day, July 28th

Hello Once More @Imperium Members! This month we’ll be continuing the format from last time! In case you missed it, here is the explanation of the changes and some new information related to how Game Days will operate in the near future: We wanted to improve the experience of Game Day overall and felt that with Star Citizen in its current state just doesn’t warrant the amount of effort that we had once been able to put into it. IE. Custom Scenarios, Hype Trailers, Streaming, Competitions. Eventually that will change again and we can get back to the game that we are so anxiously awaiting. Until that time we would like to keep Game Day’s focus as a team building event that gives us a regular time each month that we can set aside to play games as an org. You’ll notice at the top of this post there is a poll with several games as options. If you plan on taking part in this Game Day, please vote for your favorite choice from this list, and those that play in the chosen game will be added into a raffle! The poll will close on this next Friday, the 25th of May. You’ll still be free to join in with anyone else that would be playing Star Citizen, so don’t worry if you don’t have any of the games in the list. If you would like to suggest game to play together as an org on future Game Day’s please leave us suggestions in this thread and we will add them to the poll for the next event. We’ll also be shortening the duration of Game Day for this month. Instead of 1600 UTC through 0400 UTC, we’ll be starting at 1800 UTC and run to 0400 UTC. Joining Game Day For those of you that want to make a return visit, or show up for the first time, you only need to enter the Landing Channel on Teamspeak (ts.starcitizenbase.com), and one of our Hosts will direct you to the action! Raffles As for most other Game Day’s, we will be providing raffles for participants that play games in Star Citizen. However, this month we will be only conducting a participation raffle, so if you join any Star Citizen games created by other Imperium members, you’ll be entered into the raffle! As mentioned above, we will also be conducting a participation raffle for the winning game from the poll. Said game will have several TS channels created for players to meet up and play together, and doing so will enter you into this second raffle as well! Since we are hosting two games at once, be sure to check in with an officer or specialist that your name was added to the raffle of the game you played in! (As much as we may pretend otherwise, our Game Day hosts are still human, and you wouldn’t want to miss out on your chance to win free stuff) The prizes for both raffles will be $10 Star Citizen gift cards, and the winners of the raffles will be PM’d in the following week to confirm their prizes. New to Star Citizen? Read this post for information on the game and our Game Days:
  8. Howdy Base forum, This is from my thread on spectrum. I hope you find it thorough, and above all, helpful! (P.S. if it helps, will add pics later) How to Guide for Extracting and Modding Star Citizen assets From the older days of 2014 to now Welcome! This is a detailed tutorial for extracting and to be able to start modifying/playing with existing assets in any 3D program. Before this we had a very long legacy thread which was hard to sift through for directions on how to do anything. With the new spectrum, the following is a thorough How-To guide for new modders in the modding community. Tips and updates are usually shared on Markemp's converter thread so I recommend bookmarking that main thread. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50172/thread/howto-create-your-own-art-using-game-assets This tutorial still works using Markemp's new 3.x converter in Step 4. Step 1: -Copy or download all the Star Citizen build pak files you want to work with (see 2nd post for how to download any build) to a new folder on a drive where you have plenty of space and towards the root of the drive. If you copy these into a deeply nested folder, you'll run into NTFS folder tree/filename length limits in windows IIRC. ON OLD VERSION PRE 3.0 SC BUILDS -unpack everything using 7zip via 7za.exe and the following bat file. 7za.exe needs to be copied to same directory you're doing this in https://pastebin.com/8BRVvsVC You can run the bat file via Windows Command Prompt. If you're in windows explorer, hold down shift and right click on a nearby folder, you'll be given the option to open that folder in windows command prompt which may save you some typing. ON VERSION 3.0 AND AFTER SC BUILDS: Use SCLeaksP4KBuster to unpack the massive single archive Data.p4k file https://github.com/aftokinito/scleaksp4kbuster Step 2: -Run Eppi's texture converter in your unpacked root folder legacy forum thread is here: https://forums.robertsspaceindustries.com/discussion/369524/sc-texture-converter/p1 And his github here https://github.com/Madfish71/SCTextureConverter It completely automates the texture conversion process with many output options as well as getting many previously missed nuances like emission maps, and gloss maps separate from the normals. Keep in mind some 3D programs like C4D don't recognize the alpha channel in decal maps. You can use Photoshop to disable all channels but the alpha channel on the decal map, select all copy, enable RGB channels and disable alpha channel, select RGB channel, paste into place, delete previous layer or flatten, save as new tiff with suffix _ALPHA so you can find it easily. You should have a black and white image where the white is all the decals and black is transparency. If you're making your own build with his github code, be sure to use windows 10 SDK, thanks to Barnes102 for sharing that tip! Step 3: -Use Alluran's HoloXPLOR.DataForge tool on source material XMLs you want to convert to proper MTLs manually. https://github.com/dolkensp/HoloXPLOR/releases This part after unserializing can get a little complicated so I'll write about that in more detail in Step 5 below. You can drag and drop entire folders on the HoloXPLOR.DataForge 2.6.0-ptu build to convert all serialized files recursively. It does take a while on a full build. Step 4: -Run Markemp's converter to start getting file file types you want. I highly recommend choosing the DAE file option. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50172/thread/howto-create-your-own-art-using-game-assets https://github.com/Markemp/Cryengine-Converter/releases/ - - This is the line of code I use in command prompt for OBJs (not recommended) https://pastebin.com/kpMBxV8a - - This is the powershell script I use... { WARNING: study windows powershell basics before trying this, using powershell can be dangerous to your windows installation if you type something you shouldn't } ...for DAE files which are more robust and include the helper nodes. Replace the directory information I used with what you have. I had my converter is a different folder location (one directory up) which is why I needed to run this powershell script as opposed to the one Markemp gave in his tutorial. foreach ($file in (get-childitem -Recurse *.cga,*.cgf,*.skin,*.chr)) { a:\created\sc263\cgf-converter.exe $file -tif -objectdir "a:\created\sc263\data" } Step 5: SKIP TO BOTTOM OF THIS STEP, this old info just keep for record if you're working on PRE Alpha 3.0 builds -Convert your unserialized XMLs material directions to standard Wavefront MTLs so your OBJs import with textures 70%+ correctly This will save you a lot of time and even more time if automated via a script. For some of your assets, you'll have a non-standard serialized XML which breaks down each material referenced in your new object files. Un-serialize them with step 3 to begin this step. The best way to explain this is to just show you. We'll use the Aurora as an example, lines beginning with hashtags are comments. You need to go from this https://pastebin.com/nN95FShU To this Star Citizen - How to convert XML material blocks to MTL https://pastebin.com/Hzgrqd6P Here's what to convert to in the MTL as you write it Ka for indirect color values, Kd for diffuse values, (the 0 to 1 decimal values can be times by 255 per value to get RGB standard colors if you want to adjust them easily) Ks for specular values, Ns for specular exponent value I believe, Ke is for emission via mtl on lots of engines from doing some online research/reading. d for transparency, map_bump for ddna file, map_Kd for diffuse map, map_d for opacity texture map, map_Ks for specular map, map_Ns for specular map something.. usually is the exact same file as specular map with Markemp's cgf converter's outputs disp for displacement map, decal for decal map, Currently, what's missing from this MTL conversion process is: blend map directions, gloss map directions, environmental map directions, and a few other details related to custom shaders Here's an update for the new RGBA blend map for LayerBlend shader that CIG now used for assets like armor and helmets https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50172/thread/help-to-understand-3-0-s-new-material-system See thread by alex on this Step 6: -Use whatever 3D program you're most comfortable with.Blender is imo the best free option. But C4D is also user friendly, and Max and Maya are more professional solutions and accessible with free access for students. Step 7: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50172/thread/unstoppable-decal-issues-solved-addendum-to-asset- EXTRA NOTES: I use the Holoview models CTM (use OpenCTM to convert them to OBJ) as references when rebuilding the ships. You can find the holoview CTM download links quickly by using a URL sniffer plugin for your browser and just observe when you load the holoviewer for the ship model you want. The lists on reddit are missing many of the ships and CIG may eventually change the holoview models to fix the ones that aren't correct. So imo it's best just to look and get them per ship you're working on at the time. The couple things missing from this tutorial is how to convert cryengine prefabs to rebuild large structures automatically via the prefab files.Like hangars and bases.Ship prefabs (such as weapon and thruster placement) might be done programmatically because I have not found prefab directions yet in the game files for that. I asked CIG in the Ask a Dev forum concerning this but not sure if I'll ever get an answer in this forum. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50259/thread/for-the-love-of-the-modding-community-teach-us-how Dymek Made a new conversion kit to use Star Citizen 3.0 assets IN CRYENGINE, check out his thread https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50172/thread/star-citizen-in-cryengine-tools-converters-shaders Good luck, pop into the art thread linked at the top of this thread whenever you need help. Some clarifications and additions to above. How to download previous builds As a backer (afaik) you can download any of the previous public builds down to version 1.1.5 v2 , provided CIG keeps them hosted and allows access to them. AFAIK, as long as you're logged into your client, you should be able to download both the JSON and build files for the Public build you want to convert assets from. The following are all public builds http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-1.3.0/273590.json -this is SC 1.3 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-115/169905.json -this is SC 1.1.5 Final http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-116/173766.json -this is SC 1.1.6 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-116/186168.json -this is SC 1.1.6a http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-120/248856j.json -this is SC 1.2 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.0.0/305217.json -this is SC 2.0 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.1.0/311865.json -this is SC 2.1.0 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.1.0/313699.json -this is SC 2.1.1 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.1.0/315233.json -this is SC 2.1.2 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.2.0/327398.json -this is SC 2.2.0 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.2.0/328656.json -this is SC 2.2.1 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.2.0/330834.json -this is SC 2.2.2 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.2.0/333246.json -this is SC 2.2.3 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.3.0/336649.json -this is SC 2.3.0 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.3.0/341778.json -this is SC 2.3.1 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.4.0/363258-xml.json -this is SC 2.4.0 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.4.0/368250-code.json -this is SC 2.4.1 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.5.0/393743.json -this is SC 2.5 final release http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.6.0/490789-c.json -this is SC 2.6.0 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.6.0/506099.json -this is SC 2.6.1 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.6.0/521494-c.json -this is SC 2.6.2 http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/FileIndex/sc-alpha-2.6.0/523988-c.json -this is SC 2.6.3 You can open any of these json files in Microsoft Wordpad (for readability) or note pad or a json viewer of your choice. To assemble the links, you would use the web root URL + build prefix + the directory tree + the pak file name. So for Build 2.6.3 #1 you take the web root URL http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/ #2 Then add the Build prefix after the web root URL, which is located toward the bottom of the json eg http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/GameBuilds/sc-alpha-2.6.0/523988-c/StarCitizen #3 Then add the directory tree and pak file contained in the filelist tree in the json eg http://1.webseed.robertsspaceindustries.com/GameBuilds/sc-alpha-2.6.0/523988-c/StarCitizen/Data/Objects-part0.pak Provided CIG continues to allow backers to download previous builds for modding/fan art, the above directions should work until a newer system is implemented. *at one point I was downloading a bunch of old builds for testing conversions and I got blocked from downloading more pak files from that build, I logged into my launcher and then all of a sudden I was able to download the rest of the build pak files manually. So that lead me to believe that IP access for builds is authorized by the launcher, but it could be just a fluke. However this happened twice for me and each time, re-logging into the launcher worked in allowing me to continue to download the rest of the pak files from old builds. So.. seems this is the case but it may not be. Now for another tidbit of info. Decal Textures and Alpha maps So if you noticed, after converting textures with EPPI's tool. Alpha channels are still in the diffusion and specular map files for many textures. These are typically not use-able as is in most 3D programs. You'll need to extract the alpha channel with Photoshop or another image editing software to be usable. Here's what I do in Photoshop Open diffusion or specular tif file Check if alpha is all white or has any black if white close file, everything okay check next file if anything other than all white present proceed. Select alpha channel and disable RGB channels on background (the texture) Copy Create new layer Make sure new layer is selected in layer viewer RGB channel for this new layer should be visible by default after creation, but confirm select > Edit > Paste Special > Paste into place You should end up with a black and white alpha map in the new layer Save as a copy > Tif > no layers and no alpha and as a copy check marked > save tiff with _ALPHA at end of file name before .tif extension Use this file in the opacity map in Substance painter or in any 3D program for the decal material. Now in addition to alpha maps, sometimes it's not an alpha map but an emmisive map or some other kind of odd map (occasionally you'll get something that's not an emmisive or an alpha.. use your best judgement). For the emmisive maps, you'll need to maintain your color from the RGB channels. What I do is copy the alpha channel out as a layer mask to get the color in the emmisive (would be white areas) and the rest of the non-emmisive areas are black. Decals: Method on getting decals to display properly when they are exploded/lifted off the mesh on their own polys https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50172/thread/unstoppable-decal-issues-solved-addendum-to-asset- Link to my original Tutorial is https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50172/thread/how-to-start-modding-existing-star-citizen-assets

    Origin 600i Commercial

Greetings citizens! Recently I have already made a video about 600i, but the CIG launched a contest for the creation of the 600i commercial video, and I decided to making one another video. You can upvote my submission in the contest post here Enjoy Watching!

    3.2 vs. 3.1 comparison

Greetings, citizens! By tradition, I make a comparing video with the old and the new Star Citizen patch - and now we compare 3.1 and 3.2. This time there are not so many changes, how it was in the previous patch, but they are there - something is obvious, but something is added by me because I seen it in the game. For convenience, the first comment on YouTube is a timer with a schedule, so that you can switch to interesting fragments for you. Go to YouTube and enjoy watching! P.S. as usual, a request to all those, who liked this video, to support me in Citizen Spotlight Spectrum Reddit

    Origin 600i Cinematic

Greetings, citizens! I decided for a long time ago that I would make a video with Origin 600i - and now, at last, the opportunity appeared! In comparison with my last video this video is pure rest - if infinite waiting for a free platform we can call a rest The choice of music for not everyone, but it seems to me that this music perfectly suits the contemplation of this ship. I hope you will enjoy it! P.S. please, support me in Citizen Spotlight Spectrum Reddit
  12. Hey all, Would anyone recommend a 32GB RAM while playing the game? I currently have a 16GB memory and everytime I play Star Citizen, it always takes the remainder of what's left available. By default, my system takes about 5.5GB on my RAM space. Would you guys recommend it?
  13. Greetings, citizens! Back in March, I had the idea to make a video about the chase in Star Citizen world. Back then I planned to use MISC Razor and was going to start preparing "someday". Then I won Intel Optane 900P in the screenshot contest, for which I want to thank the guys from CIG for choosing me! And also I want to thank the guys from Intel for the fact that I received my coveted prize, despite to some difficulties, which connected with the Russian customs. Included with the Optane was the code on the Sabre Raven - and I decided to start embodying the idea of a "chase"-project, but already with this ship. I think, it's better than simple "thanks" for winning on the contest And after 7 pages of the script, 27 hours of filming, lots of crashes, deaths, clashes with pirates, repeats of the same scenes over and over again, we - I and 13 other people - implemented one of the most difficult projects in my life. And I hope you like what we did. If you liked it, share this video with your friends and support me in: Citizen Spotlight Spectrum Reddit

game day Game Day, May 26th

  15. Greetings, citizens! The wave of the 3.0-hype has ended, no one doesn't making hundreds of timelapses anymore. So, that means whitch I can finally make my own timelapse! One of my latest videos was an experiment - I tried to use focus and to achieve a Tilt-shift effect. With varied success. Since then, CIG has released patch 3.1, which has made some visual improvements of lighting and the planet generation system, as shown in my last video, and, most importantly for me - the camera sway was almost removed, which can simplify the creation of timelapse video. And since I have long wanted to make my own timelapse video, now is the better time for that. Therefore, I present you my new video! Almost 300 gigabytes of records, 31 scenes, two weeks of recording and editing, 2 hours of render. I tried to do it qualitatively and difficult - that it not to be a trash and didn't look boring. Maybe it's the Best God Damn Star Citizen Timelapse Video Ever, or maybe it's the usual middle level - it is you who must decide! Bonus: this video is made in 4K and with 60 fps - so turn on yours 4K TVs and enjoy it! P.S. If you want to support me, you can do it here: Citizen Spotlight Spectrum Reddit
  16. Not sure anyone else here is interested, but Big JR (the guy who built the space suit locker and the Sabre model , is back with CIG sanctioned custom furniture for sale. It's worth noting (@Sub-Commander @Media Officer) that they will do org livery. Interested parties can contact Kals@jrfabrication.co.uk regarding custom colors / liveries. I reached out to them regarding the desk and suggested an end compartment for the opposite end that's a mini fridge. They are a fan of the idea. They don't currently ship outside the EU/UK but are considering delayed orders until they can fill a shipping container in order to lower shipping costs. I want this desk. https://www.jrfabrication.co.uk/

    3.1 vs. 3.0 comparison

Obviously, it becomes a tradition - every new patch I do a video with a visual comparison of the previous and current patch. In the current build, 3.1, something turned out better, and something is on the contrary worse. I tried to show the main differences, but could miss something - if you know something else, write about it in the comments. The video turned out to be longer than I planned, so I added a timecode with a timetable of events - it can be found on YouTube, the first fixed comment. Enjoy watching! P.S. How did you find Star Citizen?

  20. Greetings, citizens! Today I have a special gift for all Drake ship lovers The recent Marvel film, and specifically the first trailer of this film, inspired me to make this video. You may not like this style of music and this style of editing, but I tried to make this video in such a way that it all looked organic and exciting simultaneously. And judging by the feedback of my friends, who have already watched this video, my idea was more than successful. And I hope you will like it too! If you liked this video, share it with your friends - it's good advertisement for our game. And, do not forget to put a finger/plus/arrow up in: Citizen Spotlight Spectrum Reddit

  24. Greetings, citizens! With the release of Star Citizen 3.0 on the YouTube began to often appear gameplay videos in the "Time lapse" style - when any landscape is recorded on video, then you speed up the result, reaching the entertaining effect of the "accelerated" picture. The sun quickly goes beyond the horizon, the sky spins at a high speed and so on. I did not do this type of video for a long time, because I thought that it would not surprise anyone at this time. However, now, when we all wait for optimization and making normal videos is very complicated, I decided to do something at least. And I had an idea to make my "Timelapse". However, not ordinary - with the effect of "Tilt Shift" - when certain edges of the picture are blurred, creating the illusion of the miniature of what is happening on the screen. However, when working with video, I ran into with the fact that because of the shaking of the camera it is not always possible to achieve this effect - therefore the video will be a bit strange and... shaking. However, some moments, nevertheless, managed to be made quite good in terms of how they "work" for a common visual style. So, I present to you my first "Timelapse" video, which is also flavored with an interesting effect, and also it in pure 4K and at 60 frames per second. I hope you will enjoy! P.S.
