Hey everyone, my name is Greg. I would love to share with you my thoughts on listening to this particular band, and learn about some of the music or bands that you all like to listen to while playing Star Citizen (or playing games in general). I think music creates focus depending on what game you're playing, what the genre type is, etc. For some games, like Star Citizen, it may be more beneficial to listen to more epic instrumental music while playing so you can still hear commands, in-game warnings, etc... And that brings me to the band: Two Steps From Hell If you do not know this band, I would check them out. They do epic music for tons of AAA studio's trailers ranging from games, movies, to TV Commercials. A lot of their music is instrumental or with light singing in the background which makes it great to listen to while playing any game really; but I like listening to them while playing SC because it makes fights epic. Here is two of their more popular songs that I really like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASj81daun5Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJ-QLl5qjLg I have bought three of their full albums. Skyworld, Invincible, and Archangel. I listen to every single song because I haven't found any songs that I didn't like listening too yet! Also not all of their songs are fast pace, some a slower than others. They have great balance. Has anybody heard of Two Steps and loves them too? That's okay if not, but I'm curious; what music you all like to listen to while you game? Thanks

With all the rush in hitting the October 10th reveal at Game Developers Online in Austin, not everything made it into the live demo. In the spirit of sharing cool behind the scenes material and illustrating the kind of content you’ll find in “The Vault” for subscribers, here’s a title track for the Squadron 42 prototype level that was composed by George Oldziey, who composed the great scores for Wing Commander 3, Wing Commander 4 and Prophecy as well as other Origin games like Crusader: No Remorse and Ultima IX. George composed music for the menu screen, inside the carrier, take off and combat. We had some of this working inside the level, but as the dynamic switching wasn’t functioning properly we we pulled it at the last minute. So without further ado here’s George’s title track So without further ado here’s George’s title track: http://www.robertsspaceindustries.com/first-music-track/
