As part of our plan of trying to be the best community radio for star citizen and integrate more into the scb community, I would like to open up our doors to input from all of you! Our old topic lists our old requests, which have now been processed. Due to the amount of embedded videos in it, it was getting kinda broken. Hence the new topic I would like to open up song request again, this time by simple means of a forum topic. Post below music you would like to hear on The Base! Current Auto-DJ playlists include Soundtrack music Chill music (dance/trance etc)(got plenty of this for the moment thnx to DJ RO!) Classic Rock music Pop Standards Jazz / Blues / Soul Hard Rock / Metal / Goth This will pretty much encompass all popular genres in music, to please everyone, which is our main goal! (you may post youtube links, spotify links, or anything else you want) But please use spoilers! Your input is highly valued, and as always much appreciated! Hopefully we can get lots of new music! See here a complete list of our current songs, divided by playlist. Thanks! Update! To get clear on people asking this question: Our license does not allow us to do any sort of automatic request system. This rule is here so that people can't request a song and a minute later record it for their own use. Anything non-automatic is still fine though. A live DJ can always play requests, should he have them in his library at the time. Any other requests can be put in the rotation for later playback in one of the playlists (but will still be random)

Hey everyone! I have created a Star Citizen Playlist for all those, who would like to listen to "old" tapes, while space trucking or exploring :). I am currently getting quite some love for it on the Deep Space Radar so if you want you can head over and give it a listen. There should be something for every taste :). I know a lot of you like me watch ATV RTV and 10 for the (...) well this weeks MVP Utho Riley-Channel link >( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCw-eYgx9Eu4bF1kHLqTZ33A )was super crazy deserved and doesn't have the subscriptions or views that he is owed for what I imagine is a 100's of hours of work..... Check him out give a sub and please share this Citizens hard work!!! P.s For our Content creators in Imperium or on the base his music is all Fair Use and only ask to be credited just check out his channel!!! Edit- So I was just talking to Utho Riley he explained that his music is Freeware and the Copyright info in in each of his video description, Also I asked him how many working hours he has, his reply "So there is 48 songs in my Star Citizen playlist, an average 4 minutes long tracks take 15 hours to produce from start to finish including EQ, Sampling and writing. I'd estimate 720 hours?" ......720 hours personal time spent. wow I'm mean just wow! so if you do use one of Utho Riley's creation please credit Utho, and don't forget to go and give a listen, a subscribe and remember Citizens-Fly safe and Shoot straight

What genre of music do you all prefer? I mainly listen to electro, but I also like rock, jazz, classical, and plenty of others. Not a fan of country though... Do you have any recommendations for good electronic music? I listen to a lot of Savant (who is amazing IMO), Virtual Riot, and Madeon, but I would love to hear what you guys are listening to. Submit your favorite genres here.

Before you say a word about the black bars on this video, I cannot help it, the footage came to me that way, I got the best Youtube could offer. And there might be a logo here and there. Other than that I hope I can make a meaningful music video with a strong Message. My Message is "When Confronted with Destruction, Chaos, and Imminent Doom, how will you react? What is your response? Will you simply stand there and accept your fate? Or will you rise to the moment, to defy the threat at your very doorstep!?!?" I would like some input on the idea behind this video. As well as a voice actor for the quote I put above. I would also like some input on the quote to see for possible alternatives, that still carry the message.

Hey everyone, my name is Greg. I would love to share with you my thoughts on listening to this particular band, and learn about some of the music or bands that you all like to listen to while playing Star Citizen (or playing games in general). I think music creates focus depending on what game you're playing, what the genre type is, etc. For some games, like Star Citizen, it may be more beneficial to listen to more epic instrumental music while playing so you can still hear commands, in-game warnings, etc... And that brings me to the band: Two Steps From Hell If you do not know this band, I would check them out. They do epic music for tons of AAA studio's trailers ranging from games, movies, to TV Commercials. A lot of their music is instrumental or with light singing in the background which makes it great to listen to while playing any game really; but I like listening to them while playing SC because it makes fights epic. Skyworld, Invincible, and Archangel. I listen to every single song because I haven't found any songs that I didn't like listening too yet! Also not all of their songs are fast pace, some a slower than others. They have great balance. Has anybody heard of Two Steps and loves them too? That's okay if not, but I'm curious; what music you all like to listen to while you game? Thanks

So, I was just sitting on my computer, jammin' to my music, and I thought: Will Star Citizen have any life-simulation features? What I mean by that is; similar to EVE, will there be a little window where you can open up a real browser and browse the web, and things similar to that? I mean, if CIG wants to make this game as immersive as possible, it'd be nice to not have to tab out/go to another monitor in order to chat with friends or something. Rather, we'd have everything we want in-game! Picture this, right? You're in your ship, exploring the depths of the galaxy. You're in a Constellation, slowly drifting through space. Problem is, it's silent. Yeah, some players might enjoy the silence of space, but not everyone's that type of person. You know what'd make this moment better? Mozart's Symphony No.40 in G minor. But why should you only settle for some music? How about you feed some information into your brain by turning on your holographic screen, and listening to the TNN (TeraNewsNetwork)! News about pirates in the Goss System (Ugh, again?) getting boring? Don't worry, you can still go online to look at funny cat videos (Yes, those are still popular), or talk to your friends on skype/teamspeak/spacebook/whatever. What do you guys think about this? Would like it to be incorporated into the game? I think it'd be a great way to make sure players are fully immersed in the game, and to let hardcore players practically LIVE in the game universe :3 TLDR: It'd be nice if we could go online through an in-game UI, so we can be fully immersed in the game.

Can't remember where I found this, but it's the Radio station used for Imperium Fleet and when they're not broadcasting they play Epic music via a download of a Winamp / itunes or Media Player file. I assume the download is to connect with the server broadcasting the music, anyhow its really good music. link http://imperium.caster.fm/

Hey guys I made myself a Music playlist for star citizen. I'm not a huge fan of the tried and true score of orchestral wind instruments. Great in COD but it sticks out like a saw thumb for anything futuristic. Obviously it will still have it's applications with anything miltarily driven but for general exploring it's the last thing I'd like to listen to. This is the kind of music I would usually listen to when playing any form of space game The songs may not (as a whole) represent what would be in a musical score (the structure is all wrong, for one) but these are the kind of sounds I find fit perfectly into the genre. It's mostly ambient and it's all Electronica but it's in the medium to slow BPM range Here is a taste of what you can expect it's on spotify (if you don't have it, get it! makes music sharing super easy) Star citizen Press play The link will then ask you to open external operation (spotify) from there just click SUBSCRIBE on the top of the playlist and listen to your hearts content The playlist will be curated by me and updated with appropriate material weekly If this gets enough interest the next will have music I think suitable for the action sequences. P.s the best way to listen to it is on random, playing freelancer Discuss
