  1. Hello, please find hereunder a small topic to synthethise the informations available on the Service beacons - Combat Assistance missions. Those missions can be found in the general tab, under the "service beacons" category. Those missions have a respawn rate similar to the one of bounty hunters, but they seems to be available near any space station and planet (bounty hunter missions can only be found around Hurston and Crusader). There are 4 levels of difficulty known as of now : Combat Assistance - LOW THREAT (4000 - 9000 aUEC Reward) (Complete 8 time this mission to get higher tier available) Combat Assistance - MODERATE THREAT (15000 - 25000 aUEC Reward) (Complete 2 time this mission to get higher tier available) Combat Assistance - HIGH THREAT (45000 - 95000 aUEC Reward) Combat Assistance - CRITICAL THREAT (333 000 aUEC Reward) The huge difference is due to the type of ship that can very in the same level of difficulty : a High threat level can either confront you to 2 Valkyrie and 1 Constellation, or 2 Valkyrie and 1 Hammerhead ... 4 things to know : You can have only 1 such mission accepted at a time, accepting a seconde mission will withdraw the first one You have a 5mn timer to go on site, past that timer the mission will be withdrew You may have neutral individual joining the fight on your sight, so be carefull. At the Critical level of difficulty you face an Idriss with an active railgun : you need to take the agro of the Idriss to avoid a railgun shot on your VIP to protect (its a static Hammerhead)
  2. I know I'm new here, but I've only been in the Star Citizen ship-trading scene for a few days. I've been playing the game for a few years, and I'm looking to get rid of some ships for real-life related reasons. Accepting PayPal, BTC, ETH. Currently looking to sell these ships: MISC Starfarer Tanker - LTI Digital Bounty Hunter - LTI Digital Mercenary - LTI Advanced Starter Package - LTI Digital Scout - LTI Colonel - LTI Standalone Ship - Anvil Hawk lti Warbond Scout - LTI No prices are set currently. Please PM me with offers
  3. Hi there, let me being by introducing myself. I'm Ed, a 34 year old father of 4. I live in California and been a hardcore gamer as long as I can remember. I have a 4.5ghz quad core, 12GB ram, 2.75TB harddrive (128 SSD), and GTX 970. I pledged the $75 dollar Avenger Stalker package and I'm looking forward to being able to do some bounty hunting, exploring, and trading. I will also be available as security escort for haulers, and VIP missions. Looking through the leader boards I noticed that some of the pilots I have been flying against are in this organization, so I wanted to join some of the elite I have encountered. If you have any questions for me please let me know, and I hope you guys can utilize me. See you in the Verse. Ed
  4. I am looking for a Bounty Hunter/Merchant Ship package. I already have the sabre which will serve as my primary combat ship. I am looking for a package so that I can play the game again. I would like to be able to Bounty Hunt from my ship or use it for trading/hauling Supplies and Cargo. Are the sales going on right now enough to make a purchase or do you guys think I should wait for the next one to be released? I have considered the Cutlass and the Freelancer both.
  5. When will we start having more Bounty Hunter ships? I am cool with new ships coming in, but really can we have another single pilot ship that can carry live prisoners from each different industry. For each industry should have at least one Intercept/Interdiction with a lot of differences. Just example coming out of my head like one with more armor, less firepower, even a good engine or one with good stealth capabilities, great speed, and OK firepower.
  6. Morning, afternoon or evening to all of you out there on the trail. This is Garrett Coliga with another installment of TRACKER, your source for all the latest news, tech and tips in the world of bounty hunting. This broadcast is brought to you by Talisman. Whenever I’m on a hunt, Talisman is the only name I trust with their proven line of armor and shields. Talisman, take the hits. As usual, we’re going to start out with the latest HotSheet, our picks of the latest bounties to hit the Guild. Remember all bounties are validated by the Bounty & Capture Division of the UEE Advocacy and are subject to Advocacy and BHG rules. Consult your local Bounty Hunter Guild or law enforcement office for the complete list of available bounties. First out. The smuggling team of Alfredo and Judy just got hit with another mark. Last seen quick-burning through Pyro System in their modded Connie. They paid out of their last one so I would mark them as a low threat. Once they drop off whatever their smuggling, I’ll bet they’ll turn themselves in. Moving on, Cah Feng, aka Jagged Tooth, has been destroying CommRelays outside the jump points along Kellar’s Run. For those outside of the know, Feng doesn’t much like the Law or anybody that represents it, so be easy on your approach. Word in the hubs is that Feng’s been tapping a pretty healthy SLAM habit, so he’ll be extra twitchy. If you find him, make sure you confront him with shields up and guns hot. Last there’s Sara Clip, aka Needle, aka Killshot. Seems Sara’s back in the mix after getting slapped with a dime on QuarterDeck. Nice to see the cops guarding the prison world managed to keep her there for a whole three months. This is a high risk jacket. Sara got pinched on multiple counts of murder and piracy. She likes to jack ships to keep Shacklers and Advocacy off her trail, so double-check those reg-tags and, above all, be careful. Remember, you can always consult your local Bounty Hunter Guild or law enforcement office for the complete list of available bounties, and double-check any bounty before confronting a fugitive, as bounties may have been cleared. Now, onto our main story for this segment. Many of you Guild members know that the Board is currently locked in a debate regarding entry requirements for prospective new Guild members. For months this has been going on and it seems like the battle lines have pretty much settled to two sides. Now, I know many of my Guild-mates might be sick of this topic, but this is for our viewers out there, our prospective brothers and sisters who would be keen to know what’s happening behind closed doors and how it might affect their application or acceptance into our network. In short, it breaks down like this. There has been a very vocal movement in the Guild to lower the requirements for membership. They want to open up the Guild to attract more members, their logic being that the more sanctioned bounty enforcers out in the black, the safer everyone will be since there will be another level of law enforcement to keep a lid on crime. They propose that a percentage of Guild bounties be cleared for non-members. These pilots would need to register with the Guild before attempting to enforce the bounty. If the pilot were to collect blank-number of these bounties, they could earn their way into the Guild. Now the opposition feels that inviting the public to participate in bounties will be essentially taking money out of the hands of the seasoned veterans who have been paying Guild dues for decades. In fact, proponents of this mentality have introduced a counter-bill that tightens Guild Membership, requiring a series of applications as well as recommendations from three Guild Members of good standing. They feel that in these difficult economic times, that the Guild shouldn’t be “opening the floodgates” to new members when it has enough difficulty finding work for the members it already has. So there it is. While it may sound to the non-members that the former situation is obviously preferable as it makes entry into the Guild much easier, there is a trade-off if there are dozens of Guild-rated Hunters scrambling for each low-risk bounty. But we want to open it up to you. Drop a message to the show and let us know which way you’re leaning. In the meantime, we’ll take some comms from our listeners in-system, so stick around if you can. If you can’t, you take care and watch your back. . . . END TRANSCRIPT
  7. There are numerous viable ships, which should suit different styles of Bounty Hunters. One type of Bounty Hunter could be a Lone Wolf, preferring a single-crew ship like an Avenger. Another type could be a posse of Bounty Hunters, using a multi-crew ship like a Constellation or Caterpillar. I'm wondering what are people's picks for the Best Ship(s) for Bounty Hunting?
  8. Hello, This is my first post on the forums, I pledged at the level of bounty hunter and am looking forward to experiencing combat and so much more in this game.
  9. Hey there Shacklers, this is Garrett Coliga. Every week, we sift through all the latest tech, bonds, and cons and bringing you only the best info to take into the field. So I want to welcome all our listeners, first-timers and old-timers. This week’s HotSheet is brought to you by ASD. You can trust your life to our weapons, anything less is suicide. ASD. Remember, the following cases are UEE sanctioned bounties to the Guild. First up. Devon Cort. $1000Cr for theft of transported cargo. Last seen in Odin System. This is strictly a tracking mission. Client wants to know where Cort is hiding out. Repeat, this is a Do Not Engage case. Contact the Guild for further details. This case is open to entry-level guildmembers and above. Arian Tovino. $7500Cr for smuggling and illegal transport of organisms. This one comes straight from the Xi’An embassy. Tovino is wanted for stealing animals from the nature preserve in Eealus System. This case is an open contract with conditions. Technically this case falls under Advocacy Statutes so please contact the Guild for further info. Delivery requirement is Dead/Alive on Tovino but Cargo must be intact. This case is open to silver-level members and above. Finally, Leon Fig. $25,000Cr. Originally wanted for murder charges on Ellis but he’s killed four of our brothers and sisters in his desperate flight so the Guild’s even kicked in on the bounty to take him down. Location is unknown but he does have contacts in Cathcart and the Banu Protectorate. Flies a modified Cutlass. Open Kill Contract so if any of you see him, you tag him out, just make sure you leave enough to pull an ID Scan. Don’t hesitate to contact your local Guild rep for the latest contracts or if you have any questions as to your case-eligibility. All cases must be performed by licensed Guild Members in good-standing. Moving on. As most of you know, we just got back from DefCon, the yearly defense and weapons convention featuring products from companies like ASD, RSI, Anvil Aerospace, and Behring. Our people scoured the floor and checked out the latest prototypes and concepts. Here are a few of the gadgets that caught our eye: Klaus & Werner demonstrated the latest in their TX line of auto-lasers. Boasting a higher refresh rate without diminishing individual shot power, the TX-3 is about to enter field-testing. They had a demo model set up and let me tell you, the puppy whittled down shields in no time at all. Pair that with a good tracking sight… it’ll be deadly in a scrap. Our benevolent sponsor, ASD, unveiled a number of new products including the PCR-880 Grappler. Another member of ASD’s growing arsenal of nonlethal weaponry, the Grappler fires a concentrated charge of electrical energy, which won’t significantly damage the ship but is powerful enough to incapacitate any unprotected occupants inside. Unfortunately, the weapon is only effective against ships whose shields have been disabled but it’s still early in the project’s development. If they work out the kinks, it would be a great tool for all those capture contracts. At the Joker Engineering booth, the rep demonstrated their new Argus Veil. Developed by Joker’s CEO Barlowe Elias, the Veil is a Hack Transponder, capable of projecting customized ship ID’s into scans for a limited time. The Joker rep claims that this technology has law-enforcement applications but I don’t know if a single person believed that line. Feel free to access our coverage of the DefCon with interviews and further breakdowns of upcoming tech. If you weren’t able to make the Con, I highly recommend making the trip next time. Gear aside, DefCon is a great opportunity to meet other Shacklers and members of the Law Enforcement community. Finally, here are some warning bulletins from our brothers and sisters out there. The Guild cannot confirm the validity of these tips and information may no longer be accurate at the time of this update. Tyrol System The system’s sun is already in the red dwarf phase of its evolution and has been shedding off an excessive amount of radiation recently. Pilots should be warned when passing through that it may affect their scans or older model shield generators. Cathcart System The pirates on the trashworld Spider have instituted a new landing protocol to try and flush out cops, outsiders, and us. Guildmember Shara Sam reported that when attempting to land, you should not offer up your ship-tag until the landing park has asked four times. Any deviation from that system will cause the park to tag and deny your ship for three days. Hadrian System The recent spate of bomb threats against the Xi’An has tightened up the Customs stations in Hadrian. On the plus side, that makes it much more difficult for criminals to get through but, as we all know, the Xi’An Customs are strict on a good day. So expect considerable delays in that system. We’re going to take a break but when we come back, we’ll break down the new changes to the Bounty Hunter Guild eligibility requirements. So stick around if you can. If you can’t, you take care and watch your back.
