  1. Howdy everyone, As many of you may remember, Imperium and friends previously became fairly heavily involved in the Life is Feudal MMO upon its early access release. With our superior numbers we established one hell of a defensible base, set up production lines for all needed materials like food, weapons, and armor, and used our diplomatic skills to carve out a respectable sphere of influence, at one point nearly controlling an entire half of a server grid between ourselves and our vassals. We were involved in many wars, fielded a well-known cavalry corps, and participated in great battles like this regularly: Taking a Chinese base with no survivors While the going was great while the group was still active, slowly people began to part ways with Life is Feudal for a variety of reasons, and the group was whittled down to a shadow of its former self. Today, Imperium's presence in Life is Feudal MMO is an odd one, with a core group 3-4 active players essentially focused on the sole objective of maintaining a base intended to house dozens of people. We have stockpiles of weapons but no-one to use them, piles of armor but no-one to wear it. We've essentially got the fruits of countless hours of grinding but nobody around to actually use them. In light of this, I've decided to put together the following: On Friday night (5/23/2018) at 7:30 EST, I'll be gathering as many people as possible and we'll set out on a great expedition from the base. A ton of the older guilds around during LiF MMOs heyday have more or less died out, and left what are essentially ruins behind. I intend for us to explore around the map (particularly the eastern island and northern areas, which are the most war-torn), looting abandoned settlements as we find them and killing hostile players if we encounter them. If we manage to say alive until 10PM EST, judgement hour will begin and various castles will become vulnerable to raids, and if we find a suitable target in our explorations we may as well launch a raid as well. All needed supplies will be provided for those who show up, everything from weapons to horses to potions to siege equipment, and the responsibility you will have is ensuring your character stats are high enough to use the weapons and armor you request. We've already got around 8-10 players intending to show up, and anyone else interested is obviously encouraged to give it a try. If you're a new player, you get LiF:YO (and thus MMO access) on g2a for around $10 now, and if you're an old player looking to come back, I can't think of a better time where you'll be able to jump right into the best parts of the game, skipping the grinding aspects. I think it'll be a great time, and I hope to see you there!
  2. With SC 3.0 being played out and everyone waiting for 3.1 to drop, several of us have been hitting World of Warships (WOW) pretty hard these past couple months. I wanted to join a clan but preferred to hang out here on Imperium/Star Citizen Base TeamSpeak with my homies rather than go somewhere else for WOW clan battles. Sooooo, I dropped $14 bucks yesterday and created an UNOFFICIAL Imperium/Star Citizen Base World of Warships Clan just for us. I figured it would be a good avenue for those interested in playing WOW to come and play with us and perhaps end up joining Imperium in the end. I'll gladly hand over the reigns to the CLAN at any point if someone in the higher ranks of Imperium prefers it to be managed by Imperium Admin. It's pretty much casual play right now and even if you aren't interested in playing Clan battles, simply joining will give you advantages in game with XP multipliers and other various advantages. So by joining and then even playing solo, you'll be contributing towards the Clan's income and it will afford the Clan to progress and grow. So please join if you are a WOW player! To find and join the clan: Go to your PORT and once their look for your "CLAN" tab at the very top of the screen....just below BATTLE and to the right. Once in the CLAN area, do a search for IMPERIUM-STAR CITIZEN BASE and click on application/apply. You'll be approved as soon as one of the other several members' fires up their WOW client and sees the pending application. The Clan Tag is [-IMP-].
  3. Hey everyone, I'm Slaps, this is my first forum post but I am fairly active of TS. However, I am a pretty avid World of Warships player and I was just wondering if there were others outside of TS that played and would be interested in joining an Imperium based clan. Right now, there are about 4 people that are interested and we need 8 for clan battles. So if you are interested please let me know and I'll gladly start up a clan. Thanks, Slaps
  4. Just wondering if anyone around remembers the game StarQuest Online from about 10 years ago? It had horrible graphics, atrocious UI and hardly anyone played it, but for those wanting a true Star Trek-like experience (even better than the official STO that came out years later), the game play was second to none. Ahead of its time, the game had a lot of the current features being discussed in Star Citizen like multi-crew game play; colony building; and even learning alien languages were handled in interesting ways. Article on StarQuest Online The game is no longer available but I'm interested if anyone knows of anything similar that could pass the time.
  5. Donut

    Pokemon MMO

Recently discovered an awesome game to play while waiting for 3.0 called PokeMMO. It's literally Pokemon like we used to play on the Gameboy but multiplayer online. Really fun to talk to people, there's constant arena battles and pvp and tournaments. If you'd like to know more: https://pokemmo.eu/ Instructions on how to download for Windows: https://pokemmo.eu/downloads/windows/ ROMS (make sure to extract into the ROM folder, which can be found in AppData where the default location of the game is downloaded) https://romsmania.com/roms/gameboy-advance/pokemon-emerald-version-225038 https://romsmania.com/roms/nintendo-ds/4787-pokemon-heartgold-version-238328 https://romsmania.com/roms/nintendo-ds/4788-pokemon-soulsilver-version-238329 https://romsmania.com/roms/gameboy-advance/pokemon-fire-red-version-v1-1-225039 You don't need all of them, but it's nice to have. Instructional video on how to install: Myself, Killroy and Trophias are already playing and you can send us friend requests with these names: DonutImp, KillroyV, Trophias
  6. Just was notified of a new game, named Dual Universe, a voxel-based MMO build on UNiGiNE 2. Looks quite similar to No Man's Sky, but there is a few aspects of it that personally interest me... a.) Single Shard Universe- apparently they (at Novaquark) have found a way to incorporate many more players into a single 'shard' at once- transitionless. b.) interface custom design with Lua- you build a ship... and then you can build it's interface. They claim to permit the functionality to completely redesign the interface of any ship to suit your needs, so long as you know Lua, but you can even apparently make your own AI. http://www.dualthegame.com/
  7. http://www.theleston.com/theleston-lives/ "After the suspension of production on the Multiplayer Evolving Online World Revival put the future of Theleston in doubt, Skyward* Corp has taken hold of the Theleston IP and are proud to announce the launch of Theleston.com, home of the full line of Theleston products, and the world of Theleston itself. AtTheleston.com you will find information about the world of Theleston and the tabletop role playing game project, as well as up to date information as to the current state of Theleston and Skyward*’s efforts to drive the IP forward." As far as our properties go, we'll still have access to them. It will just take time for Illfonic to release them to Skyword (Who were the original devs contracted out by Illfonic and it was their IP to begin with)
  8. Hey all. Apparently there is a new space game that will soon be going into open beta. It is called Beyond Dark. I signed up...could be fun. 9. Okay, a wee bit hurried this morning, but MassivelyOP (my starred site) Just told me this morning that the site Green Man Gaming was having it's own equivalent of the Steam Summer Sale. Said sale included Elder Scrolls Online, that of which is selling for exactly 15$, which with the voucher code "ENCORE-ENCORE-ENCORE", you can get to 12$. So... yeah. Good luck with that. They claim that there is also under 24 hours left, so.. erm.. hurry up. There's also a multitude of other games out for absurd prices, this site somehow seriously rivals SSS.. Eck. So. Yeah. Go ahead. http://www.greenmangaming.com/#b http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/us/en/pc/games/mmos/elder-scrolls-online-tamriel-unlimited/
  10. I was thinking about checking this out, was wondering if anyone was considering playing it, its always more fun to explore with friends!
  11. For those who follow the new and up coming 40K MMO shooter the vote for the 5th space marine faction is now up! Who did you vote for any why? https://www.eternalcrusade.com/polls/4-Choose-Which-5th-Chapter-Shall-Join-The-Ranks-Of-The-Space-Marines-On-Arkhona-Vote-Ends-On-July-16-2015
  12. Evening Pilots, I just wanted to post this new space sim that I've just only heard about, it was released on Steam only two days ago (27/02/15); "Ascent is a PVE sandbox space MMO with 270,000,000,000 star systems and an emphasis on strong Sci Fi, exploration, colonization, starbase construction, research and technology, mining and farming, trading and combat. Outside first sector, everything in game is made by players." - Steam If your one like me, who is craving for the PU and has been hugely disappointed with ED then check out either the steam link or their website http://www.thespacegame.com/....Least in this game you can actually land on planets that you have discovered and get out......ohh did I mention everything in outside the first sector is player made...... See you in the verse pilots! Khad Rogo Rear Admiral
  13. http://youtu.be/ys91fw2HepE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nfo89042PjE&feature=youtu.be Transverse is a new Space (Crowd Funded) MMO like Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous. I personally think that Transverse will be a closer competitor to Star Citizen than Elite Dangerous. I am skeptical about not having any NPCs in Transverse. It will make the development process easier but I think it would feel lonely verse the amount of population we will see in Star Citizen (with the NPCs included with the players). I also think it will be fun to have players as shop owners (as an example) - in both Star Citizen and in Transverse - but I can't see enough players wanting to "play that role" for extended periods of time (thus the need for NPCs). Another thing that didn't quite impress me as much as I thought it "should have" was the Unreal 4 Engine (Star Citizen's modification and additions to Cry Engine look a lot better) - but this may also be an early take on the implementation of it (surely SC became better over time graphically). With that being said I became Backer number 54 I only pledge a minimal amount vs the thousands I have pledged for Star Citizen. I may pledge more for Transverse as it develops more. Here is Ben's Take on it..... Ben Weighs in on Transverse I wanted to post this Q & A # 1 from one of the devs so people can get a better idea about the game: Ryan Boulanger - Player Progression
  14. Answers from Ben in the topic if there will be Battles of over 100 Players
