Hey there Is there anyone who has one of those CCU's lying around that they aren't using and willing to sell/trade me one? Originally these ships were both the same price so back then you only had $0 CCUs; however, at some point CIG increased the price of the Super Hornet to $180 while the Gladiator remained at $165. Now I'm not sure if CIG ever offered a discounted Warbond CCU for the Super Hornet afterwards but otherwise I'd also be happy enough if one of you has a regular "Gladiator to Super Hornet" CCU that you are willing to sell or trade. I'd be more than happy to pay you for your troubles through Paypal or if you prefer Store Credit I'd also have no problem sending you some ingame items that you can then melt for Store Credit instead if you prefer that. Thanks!

The Anvil Aerospace Gladiator torpedo bomber is available to buy again on the RSI Pledge Store, and we finally get to see a pic of it! As I predicted, it has a cockpit, like the Hornet, not an internal cabin, like the 300i, Freelancer, Cutlass, or Constellation. It seems like a wider, but sleeker and cooler looking Hornet! I especially like the twin engines -- presumably 2 x TR4s. (Once again RSI's Ship Specs are proven wrong.) I've decided that I'm going to buy it now, while it's available again. However, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it, because I don't think the Gladiator can do anything that the Retaliator can't.

So some of us have heard of a another hard-to-get joystick option from a company known as VKB Industries. They made a hand-crafted joystick called the Black Mamba that is widely regarded higher than the HOTAS Warthog, and also have some highly-regarded rudder pedals. Months ago they said they announced a new line of upcoming products and an upcoming US-based distributor. I'm not above selling my Warthog HOTAS and getting something better. The price of their entry-level stick seems primed to put CH out of the gaming business... I have no idea why you'd buy an 8-bit Fighterstick over one of these, unless the build quality of these are far worse than their previous products.

WHERE IS THE GLADIATOR IN DEVELOPMENT? The Gladiator was concepted by David Hobbins, who also designed the Javelin and updated the Constellation. It has been in active development at Foundry 42 recently, and is currently on-track to be the next Hangar-ready ship. We expect to make the Gladiator flight ready between Arena Commander 1.0 and 2.0; while it is a multi-crew ship (with a manned turret/RIO seat), it does not feature room to walk around.
