I'd go with the ghost, from someone who's flown it for a little while now. While it won't make you invisible by any means, its stealth capabilities will make it a good ship for combat ops (especially if you go ever want to go into stealth ops).

Hello people of Imperium! I got accepted a week ago and decided to finally write an introduction. My name is Axios and I've been following Star Citizen for a couple months now. I currently own a hornet ghost and when the game comes out I hope to start running stealth-like ops. My goal with Imperium is to get into the intelligence side once I get some more time with the organization and people (I did submit a notice of interest to the intelligence division but obviously I'm a little new to be seriously considered). Anyway, hope to chat with all of you soon and I can't wait til 0.9 comes out. -Axios
