  1. That's... alotta missles... How many racks are on there? Also, I don't see it being changed considering the MIS has tons of missles on the wings, and those two missle pods on the top.
  2. That poor freelancer x.x
  3. the issue I see here is mostly because it's a very, -very- large ship, the cost of running it at anything less then a full load means you're operating at a loss. Which is why the E must be fully loaded. This said, it's why I've settled on a hull B. More capacity then a freelancer, is about as fast, and a guaranteed profit everytime it's loaded. (unless the ship blows up, but that's what insurance is for.)
  4. If I remember right, the hull e doesn't fill the roll of pocket carrier like most understand it. As you kinda have to reassemble the fighter you are storing.
  5. It depends really on what you want to do. I find that playstation is amazing for single player games, and multiplayer is a bit of sub-par. However when it cones down to Xbox, the multiplayer titles are amazing, but it lacks a bit in single player titles. Xbox is a system designed from the ground up to be social, where the playstation was designed to be able to play games with sociability as an added feature. That being said, I would go for Xbox, because my brother normally picks up playstation, so we swap out from time to time and play the exclusives to one title or another.
  6. I disagree, perishable goods would most likely be transported by a hull series in specialized refrigerated cargo units. Much like the bulk goods transports of today, which carry everything from hazardous chemicals, to perishables and computer parts. If it can be transported in bulk, a hull can do it. Much like the bulk goods transport ships of today.
  7. I ended up melting my 'lancer to pick up the B with LTI. It'll probably restrict me to the home system a bit, but I imagine it has a larger hold then the 'lancer, seeing as it's strictly cargo. I should have another in no-time, not to mention LTI so I only have to worry about cargo and stuff~!
  8. We don't have to be a passive Org, though, if we maintain assaults on the carriers, forcing large orgs (or small ones) to sink all of their UEC into the reparing of damaged modules. Keep them stagnant, and they make no progress. Secondly, that smaller Org, if they can make the UEC to service and feild a Bengal, then they aren't a small org. A Bengal Carrier is a capital ship unlike the scale the Idris is on according to the stats on RSI. Having it would be a huge advantage, but taking and holding one while it's undergoing repairs is a task small orgs would not be able to handle. Not when other larger orgs are out for them as well. Double that with the fact that since most large orgs are out for the Bengals, that means there is going to be a lot of fighting amongst themselves. Preserving our UEC to assault the large orgs when they are weak would be a much more profitable option, rather then spend it all on a Bengal and not have enough to repair our ships when everyone and their mothers comes for our carrier. Bengals, in the early stage, will be something everyone wants. I advise we wait, or don't get one so that way we have an advantage over the orgs who are weak after feilding all of their manpower and money keeping the Bengal alive for their org. It's like taking the Baron Nashor buff in League of Legends, your team, passive waits for them to start Baron, then you sweep in when they are weak and wipe their team, possibly taking baron for yourself as well.
  9. Her's a question I have though. How would not securing a Bengal be irresponsible? It isn't our Job to ensure we own a Bengal. We don't have an obligation to own one, either. It's there if we want it, and while yes, not having one can be a sort of awestriking point (A large Org not having a Bengal Carrier?!?) It's not a requirement. I've not noticed "owning a Bengal Carrier" on the list of being a large Org. Therefor, it being irresponsible for us to own one cannot be used. However, with other Large Orgs making plays for their Bengals We probably should make a showing for one as well. Though, as Cato stated, we could very well take a half-finished bengal from another Org, or jump one the instant they find one, but ultimatly, such a large UEC sink would have to be handled carefully. I would advise against owning one, and manipulating the other Orgs to be spending more UEC on fixing their Bengal and ships rather then allowing them the UEC making them more effective PvP or traders, while we are scared to bring out the Bengal because of various reasons.
  10. As it is, having Thinking about it, Having a Bengal though, while yes would be a massive boost to our firepower, but if it gets damaged, we'd have to repair it ourselves, or find someone who can. That's alot of UEC. Then we would have to continuously keep it on the move, manned 24/7, and guarded at all time. Even more UEC. Then if it gets captured by another organization, our hundreds of millions of UEC worth of investment is gone in an instant. Which means, as a whole, we lose in the economy race, and when we hit a bad enough economy that we need to raise taxes on other players to recoup the losses, people start leaving. That is bad. So, ammending my previous thoughts on the ship. Having one, yeah, it would be nice. But screwing everyone else who has one over by forcing them to dump all their creds into repairing it and their ships, all the more better for us, becase while they are out of comission, we can waltz in, take their stuff and dance out just as victoriously. Hell, we could even just take their carrier and do it to yet anouther organization. Let them take the fall for repairing it and fixing it up, while we enjoy the rewards and possibly gain more members in the process.
  11. Well we have at least a couplle Idris class frigates. That in itself is a ton of firepower. And Lasers, as we have seen, do not require much in the way of Ammo, only that the power supply handle the energy requirements to fire. Rinse and repeat with the smaller ships, and you have a fleet that would not need much in the way of Ammo. Resupply and repairs would still be a large cost, but I imagine we would have at least one or two Idris class ships out there to support the fighters. People like the trade and industry department could handle fuel and necessary supplies to repair. With so many ships out there it becomes easier to protect the supplies coming in. Yet another things is that they won't launch large forces at us all the time unless it's a player organization. By which point we won't have much to worry about Vanduul if we clear the area, as huge forces might not spawn. Meaning we would need the exploration guys running sensor sweeps and patrols to keep enemy eyes away from our investments.
  12. Depends on how many they produce as well. Will there be a bengal per fleet with (membernumber+) floating around? Or will there be only a coupe Bengal and if all of them are taken then you would have to stal one from the UEE or another faction.
  13. Problem is Locating it. I imagine there won't be a lot, but if we want one, then the Exploration Division would have to put the pedal to the medal in locating one and performing enough repairs to get her spaceworthy. Edit: THEN combat ops would have to ensure that it's protected while limping back to our spaceport. That'll be a job.
  14. BMW 3-series in space = Origin 300i Edit: Well, I've been looking to stay in some sort of fighter, and not looking to spend a ton of Cash while still being able to use my alpha pass.

    My freelancer

So I traded in my BMW 3-series in space for a Freelancer and used a bit extra to get a Aurora. Since I'm looking to make it into T&I I figured it was the better choice, as both ships are excellent for trade. Sound about right?
