I feel bad for people who hype the game up way too much for themselves.
I could be easily one of them. Burned time and time again by publishers forcing Devs to release their hard work unfinished or with features cut. Space games where your avatar is the ship and not a person. No communication from development until the game is beta ready. Abuse of the terms RPG and MMO.
Star Citizen not only needs to succeed because I have been crying for this exact space game for over 10 years, but it is delivering something so much more than a space game. Its rocking the whole PC gaming market which has gotten all too comfortable with giving us console ports, releasing broken games, and making you pay 3 times to get the full game on launch day.
We already are proving that the buyers want this type of game buying experience.
