I'm really hoping that racing is pretty big. I have a 350R that I want to race early on to earn some money to buy a few other ships. Can't wait to race some of you guys!

The reason I picked up a 350R is because I want to do some races, trading, and exploration in order to buy the big ships. I can't afford to pay $250+ for the big ships so I am making those my goals when the game does eventually come around.

Alexander Tycho Brahe Even since learning about Tycho Brahe in an astronomy course I took a couple of years ago, I have always wanted to make a character that is "related" to him. Because of Brahe's contribution to astronomy it seems like the perfect situation to play as an explorer.

Happy to see all these responses. Looks like I may end up getting a 350R LTI from an old friend. Now I might have a decent chance at beating some of you guys! Edit: Got it! Can't wait to race you guys in my new, fancy 350R!

Thanks Zhane! Looks like we have similar interests in mind! I can't wait to get into racing since it seems to be one of the things they haven't expanded on greatly. I just have to hope there's a steep learning curve so I can stay somewhat ahead of the curve for the first few months.

Hello everyone, After checking out some of the forum posts and learning way more than I had previously known, I decided to join Imperium. I currently have the 325A, but that is only because I missed out on the 350R LTI package back in November. I can't wait to pick it up once the game actually does release. Despite having a fighter, combat is not my top priority. Racing is one my favorite genres and I can't wait to see what it's like in SC. If possible, I would love to outfit a 350R in order to do some exploration and commerce with some instances of stealth thrown in there. Can't wait for what's to come!
