  1. Here are some additional images of me putting everything together. This is by far the largest Star Wars toy I've ever had and it's also very heavy (I estimate around 5-6kg) so it's not a toy you'd be flying around in the living room with it. The size is definitely impressive. When fully assembled it comes in at 80cm in lenght, 50cm in width, and 28cm in height (from floor to the top of the engines). I thought my Vintage Collection Slave 1 already had a pretty nice size but it's definitely not a match for the Razorcrest. I've added some comparison shots below at the bottom of the post. Then again, it's to be expected as the Vintage Collection Slave 1 (released in 2020) was a regular retail release at around €150 as I recall whereas Haslab is specifically meant to create certain toys that would never be viable for retailers and needs pre-orders with die-hard collectors coughing up bags of cash to come into existence (like Jabba's Sailbarge which was also a Haslab product). I guess it also comes in handy when people already paid the whole lump sum in advance. But enough of my babbling; this is what my €401.48 (€399.99 plus €1,49 shipping) and approximately 16 months of waiting has bought me The box itself just fit on my living room table at approximately 80cm in lenght. It shows the nice front with the ship in 'landing more' and some of the character Din Djarin meets along the way. The back shows a black&white version of the ship in 'flight mode' on its display stand. Everything inside is nice and securely placed with some tape holding things in place while other items have some additional thin paper to protect the main components from minor scratching. Din Djarin with "soft goods" cloth cloak complete with his signature blaster, rifle, and jetpack was just added in a little baggy while a unique version of Grogu aka 'Baby Yoda' holding the little metal ball with a special vac-metal silver crib (the one that was built by Kuiil) and the other being an Offworld Jawa Elder with a necklace, belt, kukri knife, and opened egg each on their own cardback (for comparison the regular retail Offworld Jawa doesn't come with the necklace, belt, kukri knife, and only has an unopened egg in the package). I wouldn't be surprised if some of these are already being sold separately on Ebay for insane prices. Here are some additional contents with the main body of the ship removed. The thrusters, guns, and a baggy with small parts. The Thrusters have panels that you can take apart. Likewise the body also allows for several panels to be taken off to kinda recreate the scene where the Jawas had stripped the ship. It's not as many loose bits and pieces as Haslab initially showed/intended but I guess they didn't want to have too many small pieces that might pop off and go missing (like all those things that ended up in mom's vaccum-cleaner back in the day; never to be seen again); hence the fewer larger panels to still convey the scene properly. Also a picture of the display stand that was one of the "Stretchgoal unlocks" and an escape pod. So this is definitely not a Drake ship as Drake doesn't do escape pods ever since CIG forgot to put them on the Cutlass with Chris making up some excuse about "no escape pods on Drake ships to give the value back to the customer" because there is little value given back to the customer in Drake ships to warrant the pricetags LOL. This escape-pod was also a "Stretchgoal unlock" I believe. We never saw this in action during the series just like we never saw that deployable dual blaster turret that can pop up from the back of the ship. Not sure if that's Haslab's creative work or that the ship actually did have a remote turret there with Din Djarin simply never using it (it could have been helpful during that chase scene with the other bountyhunter who used Din's "I can bring you in warm, or I can bring you in cold" line). The first image here shows how the ship looks with the escape pod and panelling removed which looks pretty well done. The attention to detail and greeblies look pretty awesome imo. Overall Haslab did a pretty good job on the exterior of the ship to make it look like it flew in straight from the TV-series. Well, ofcourse it's smaller than the actual ship. But if Haslab had to scale it properly I guess it would have had to be at least 50% larger. The canopy (sadly) isn't hinged but simply comes off completely offering access to the interior. There you can easily position Din Djarin (thanks to his soft-goods cloak) and Grogu comes with that old box that he had been 'living' in after the original was thrown in the trash (not sure why Din didn't just take it out of the trash again) so you can either have Grogu in that box or the vac-metal crib (or the original crib if you bought the separate double-pack with Mando/Grogu/Crib/Helmet/Backpack/Frog. Enough options to carry Grogu around. Also, lots of blasters to fill up the weapon locker (which was very finnicky and needed to fit exactly as shown in the instructions) and a large assortment of different colored backpacks that you can hang from various pegs along the walls (there are more hooks than there are backpacks so you can mix them around a bit; or maybe someday we get a disassembled "Zero" to hang in a bag on the wall perhaps? 🤣 The 4 carbonite blocks of his bounties (there were theories about the identities of those other three people as there was a criminal gang with a man, a woman, and a Rodian in a comic series but I forgot the names) as well as poor Mythrol who didn't get to celebrate Life Day was also a "Stretchgoal unlock" and you can snap them onto clamps hanging from the ceiling and move them around. There's also the carbon freeze chamber but for some reason the instructions claim you can open up the door but there's a hook and wall section on the opposite wall that prevents it from opening completely. Not sure why there's a cover on the chamber at all though as in the TV-series there wasn't one either. Maybe I'll just remove the cover plate if it's not too difficult. And here are some final images of the whole ship put together. It was very nice of Haslab to have so many panels to come off including the entire roof so that you have easy access to everything. It was also very cool imo that the net you see in the first image isn't plastic but some kind of cloth. It looks pretty awesome. Also lots of little hooks to hang all those backpacks on. On the last images you can see the sheer size difference between the Vintage Collection Slave 1 versus the Haslab Razor Crest. Makes you wonder if Haslab will ever make a larger Slave 1; but for that to happen I guess the "Book of Boba Fett" needs to do well with the audience (I haven't watched it myself yet). I did see that Haslab was offering the throneroom from "book of Boba Fett" including a fat Bib Fortuna; so who knows what the future will hold for Star Wars Haslab projects. Their Rancor project failed miserably (allegedly because Haslab didn't listen to the fans) so here's hoping that the next project will be something the fans actually want. 😄 Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed these images. I for one am very happy with my Razorcrest or Razor Crest or however you're officially supposed to spell it. It also turns out that Spectrum definitely allows you to upload way more pictures in JPEG format compared to PNG and it seems that today Spectrum was kind enough to let me upload all my JPEGs (sometimes it outright refuses JPEG but allows PNG just fine; very wierd). Thanks for watching and take care!! ...Now the only question that remains is how to display it as the ship can be displayed both in "Landing Mode" with the landing gear attached or in "Flight Mode" by removing the landing gear and closing the landing gear panels while then using the included display stand. I'll have to think about that some more (and I would definitely need to place the box and Grogu on the port-side seat as he would slide off the starboard one due to the way the ship leans on the stand). Additionally I'll have to find a nice place to put it in the living room so I can enjoy it fully. Maybe I should put it on a nice 80x80 table that I wasn't using for anything except littering it with random tools and such. And here were a few bonus images that I hadn't uploaded to that Spectrum thread as I was nearing capacity on that forum. 😅
  2. Not sure if these forums like lots of images but I'll try to upload them with similar commentary as the thread I posted over on Concierge
  3. CIG Vehicle Director John Crewe has posted this poll on Twitter today: https://twitter.com/_johncrewe/status/1496483181817733138 If us Cutlass Black owners are ever going to get our toilet back, now's the time to vote. 🚽
  4. My Haslab Star Wars Razor Crest has finally arrived today! 🥰 I was worried at first that my Customs agency would slap on another "21% VAT + processing fees" because I had pre-ordered & paid it through Zavvi back in 2020 (which is based in the UK) just before the UK exited the EU and I've had issues with that Customs office ever since whenever I purchased something from the UK be it from Ebay or Etsy; they just ignored the IOSS codes that indicate when taxes have already been paid, then blame the seller. and tell me to go get my taxes back from them (while they keep the 'processing fees'). 😒 Fortunately all went well and now I have something to put together tomorrow. I feel like a little kid again who was just as excited when he opened his box of the Millenium Falcon at Christmas back in the day. Well, Christmas came early for me this year! 💕 I will post more pictures tomorrow after opening the box. Need to clear out my table in the living room first to make enough room to unpack this beast.
  5. Yeah, anything in our BuyBack list that predates the implementation of the 'new' "Ship Upgrades" tool had their prices locked. Now I'm not sure if it's because of my "Star Citizen Hangar XPLORer" app or if anyone can see it but for me I can easily recognize the old CCUs because they still show an icon whereas the new ones have a blank icon. You still have to watch out though as some of them can be bought back but will make you lose money due to the target ship being cheaper than the source ship. As shown in the image above you can see the difference between the old CCUs (with icon) and new CCUs (without icon). Ofcourse I'm NOT going to buy back that old "Merchantman to C2 Hercules" as that would cause me to lose a lot of money as the BMM is now higher in price as the C2. 😅 But yeah, there might still be a few hidden gems in there from the old system that still may have a use.
  6. Yeah, it definitely felt like a bug that the CCUs were suddenly unaffected by any recalculation when previously they would always recalculate based on current pricing. However, it was definitely a sneaky move by CIG to suddenly include Warbond CCUs as well and simply change the text in an obscure section of the website with no communication about it whatsoever. I also used the spreadsheet kinda approach at first but then I found this app called "Star Citizen CCU Game" where you can set it to scan your entire account and then you can create a CCU-chain with it where it will try to make the best deal possible and also tell you which things would still be missing. It's a pretty handy tool. As of a few days ago it wasn't updated yet so it still saw CCUs at their old (cheap) prices so best to uncheck the box that says "Include Buyback" and manually check to see if there are any old pre-2020 CCUs that still offer a cheaper price (they can be recognized as they should have an image whereas the newer ones just show a blank icon). Then if you are using the app make sure to check the box that says "Exclude Saved Chains"; otherwise if you make more than one chain it may use a CCU that's already used by another chain. I also have no clue what "Recalculate" means when you want to save a chain as usually it just started making wierd jumps; so I always clicked "No" and just saved it as-is. But nowadays it's my go-to app for when I plan to get a particular ship and see if I still have some CCUs that can get me there at a nice discount. Here's the link to the Google Chrome Store where the app is hosted. Not sure if it's also hosted elsewhere though. The app really helped me a lot as last IAE I wanted to clear out a lot of my old CCUs and was able to make 4 CCU-chains very quickly with that app.
  7. Temporary event discounts are like the current discounted starter packs. You see a higher price on the right and a lower price on the left. That's a temporary discount. CCUs in your BuyBack were always supposed to recalculate their prices when the new "Ship Upgrades" system was implemented. However, some time after the Talon/Shrike was sold it seemed to stop working and suddenly CCUs in your BuyBack could be repurchased for the same amount that you paid for it. As such it seems CIG reactivated it and included the Warbond CCUs which are now treated as regular CCUs. So the main gist of it is, only put CCUs in your BuyBack if you don't care about them anymore and keep any and all discounted Warbond CCUs (and CCUs to ships that haven't released yet) in your "My Hangar" section instead of the BuyBack as we've seen how CIG can suddenly increase the price of unreleased ships (like the Hull-C and Merchantman). Warbond Ships/Packages should still remain unaffected as their discount was meant to be permanent. So for example I have a "NOMAD STARTER PACK IAE 2950 - WARBOND" in my BuyBack that was $80 at the time. After contacting Customer Support about it (as I was very concerned) that one (and others) can still be bought back for $80 so this 'change' was onl;y meant for CCUs and packs offering existing ships at a discount due to some event (like these FreeFly discounted starter packs). Although I have to mention that the Nomad pack bugged out on me when I first placed it in my BuyBack (I had upgraded it to a Cutlass Black but wanted the Nomad back) it changed the price to $95 so I contacted Customer Support and they changed the price back to $80 while telling me that the $95 was an error and not intentional. So yeah, it's still a little confusing as well as frustrating (I also had some nice CCUs in my buyback that I could have used) but ah well. We still have Fleet Week coming up as well as other events where CIG may offfer discounted Warbond CCUs. So you may still be able to get $5-$10 Warbond CCUs and chain them together during the November IAE event for a nice discount. Heck, I had a chain from a P-72 Archimedes LTI to a 600i Explorer but that old chain used some (now defunct) CCUs in my BuyBack. However, deleting that one and making it without CCUs from my BuyBack turned out to give me the same discount as the "Star Citizen CCU Game" app just used other CCUs that I still had in my regular account. So just keep an eye out for discounted Warbond CCUs and get those while filling in the blanks with Store Credit once the IAE happens again in November. Just don't put any CCUs you might want to use in your BuyBack. Oh, and maybe scroll through your BuyBack list to see if there are still some in there to ships that are planned for release this year but haven't gone up in price just yet. Hope this info is helpful to you.
  8. Yeah, the sneaky edit and the changing of WB CCUs to suddenly revert to normal CCUs even though it still says "Warbond" on the image makes this a bit wierd. Also, the zero communication and no grace period when CIG promised time and time again to improve communication was rather disappointing. Heck, they specifically communicated to us when the Avenger and 300i would go up in price and offered us time to get them at the original price for a time before bumping up the price by $5 (which imo they only did just to make the 100-series feel more appealing; even though they were ridiculously overpriced as a 'starter'. Those ships should have been sold at $15 less and kept at a starter pack option). Additionally there was a lot of confusion regarding discounted ship packages and people claimed that any Warbond Ships and Packages would also be changed. However, it seems people were confused and lumped everything together which is where the confusion stems from. As far as I've seen: Existing ships/packages that are being offered with a temporary event discount will not retain said discount when melted and then bought back. Concept ships/packages that are being offered with a permanent concept discount will retain said discount when melted and then bought back. At least that would match what that senior concierge rep told me when they said that I could still buy back my Warbond packages which I bought at concept. Those would remain unchanged and I could buy them back at $80 each.
  9. It is rather confusing to see these sudden changes in one area while other areas remained unchanged. As such I reached out to Support and received the following information: Obviously I blocked out certain areas of the image for privacy reasons.   So the recent changes only affect CCUs; not standalone ships or packages. Those can still be bought back at the original price that you paid for them. Perhaps the person changing the information on that 'Knowledge' Base used the wrong wording; which set off this wildfire. But yeah, apparently it only affected CCUs including Warbond CCUs. So if you want to make chains be sure to keep any discounted Warbond CCUs in your account instead of your BuyBack. We only had the ability to buy them back at the original prices for a certain period of time; which was somewhere around the time CIG sold the Talon/Shrike but now it appears they have reactivated whatever had been deactivated. And who knows, maybe someday they will deactivate it again. Stranger things have happened... Like people quoting the Stats Page believing the information there was accurate. 😅
  10. What bothers me the most is that CIG did not communicate any of this; they just sneakily edited some page that hardly anyone visits since we had this system in place for years where Warbond pledges would always retain their original value. Heck, even Zyloh commented on this specifically when some people noticed that their original concept Polaris suddenly went from $625 to $750. Yet now all of a sudden CIG makes these changes instead of actually communicating about it first and give people a grace period of a few months or something before implementing the changes. Time and time again CIG promised that they would work on communicating things better yet time and time again they fail and do not communicate at all (unless it's a sales pitch for a new concept sale; then their communication is all over the place). The last time I remember them communicating something was when the Avenger and 300i were going to go up in price by $5 and that if you wanted one at the old price you were given time to procure one at the original price before the changes would go into effect. But with this? No communication whatsoever. Someone quickly edited the page and BAM; no more discounted warbond prices, everything is now full price. It also made that extra BuyBack token that was given to Concierge backers pretty pointless if we now have to buy everything back at full price anyway. 😒
  11. Still wierd that they didn't even give it a single S1 gun (like the X1), but also gave it no shield, and no cargo to speak of; not even a small rack behind the seat for a mission box. 😕 I take it this thing is only good for enjoying the scenery and wasting all your cargo capacity to carry it around in a Nomad when instead you could be carrying 24SCU worth of cargo instead? Makes me wonder how much this "no weapon - no shield - no cargo" bike is going to cost. Can't be more than $35 as that's what all the other hoverbikes cost at concept and those came with 2 gimballed S1 weapons (1xS1 on X1) and a shield. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see CIG still being completely tonedeaf and pulling another Cutlass Steal and trying to go for "maximum money for minimal use". Out of all the hoverbikes I think the Dragonfly still reigns supreme considering the capability to carry cargo and/or a second person while also having a small shield and 2 S1 weapons in decent locations. Looking at the model CIG could have easily given it a gimballed turret on the underside inbetween the hover-pads. It's also peculiar why CIG didn't give it a small mag-plate just behind the seat so you could at least have it carry a single mission box. Then it will be interesting to hear why CIG decided on not giving it a S0 vehicle shield when every other hoverbike has one. Sure, it looks cool but if it has nothing else going for it I fear that the only use it will get is as an LTI-token for those who missed out on all the other times LTI-tokens were made available. I wouldn't put it in the back of my Nomad just because it 'looks cool'. It would need to have some use in order for me to pull my wallet. Guess I'll just stick with my Ranger-CV and hope that CIG will work on all those other vehicles they sold but have yet to deliver on while pumping ou these straight-to-ready new ones. People are still waiting on the Ranger-series, X1-series, G12-series, Lynx Rover; yet what we got were the Ballista, Tonk, Spartan, ROC-DumbSeat, Cyclone-MT (TR+missiles), and now this one. I honestly expected to see at least the X1-Base when CIG released the 400i and would give one away for free with every purchase of a 400i; as the 600i Explorer also got a rover while the Aquila got a rover and a snub, and the Carrack got a shuttle and a rover too. Guess CIG isn't as generous anymore... --------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: I also noticed that those tiny little storage compartments show 125mSCU of storage space but please DO NOT let yourselves be fooled by that number. It doesn't have enough physical space for so much capacity (that's like half a dozen assault rifles worth of space). So I'm betting that CIG intentionally put this number in to drive sales and then once the sale is over they will 'adjust' it to something more like 25mSCU (a Light Backpack has around 40mSCU). So don't buy it thinking you will be able to store tons of stuff in those tiny compartments as CIG is likely doing this on purpose again just to increase sales and likely already has their "Subject to Change" card standing by to reduce it to 25mSCU a few weeks later; which is just enough for 1 or 2 handguns, a few spare magazines, and some food&drink. They did the same with the ROC-DumbSeat when they noticed a lack of sales so they magically doubled the mining beams length and gave it a storage capacity that won't even fit inside the physical model. So I expect that to suddenly get 'adjusted' down any day now (if they haven't already done so). It's such a shame too as the ROC-DS could have been an awesome mining vehicle if they had just removed that stupid external seat and simply given control of the mining arm to the driver like the regular ROC. But hey, CIG needed some quick cash so they pulled this rejected concept out of the trashcan. 😒 In my opinion CIG should have just given this CNOU Grav-bike a single S1 gimballed gun on the underside (mimicking the Nomad's gun there) and a little metal rack just behind the seat so it could secure a mission box. At least that way it would actually offer a proper choice among the other speederbikes instead of being totally useless like it is now. Presently the Dragonfly is the only speederbike that is incredibly useful due to it having 2xS1 gimbal guns, a S0 vehicle shield, saddle bags for storage, and even a spot to carry either more cargo or a second person (if I remember correctly). Every other grav-bike also has at least 1 or 2 S1 guns and a shield. So if all this CNOU bike offers is "It fits perfectly in the back of a Nomad" then that's not good enough. I also suspect that CIG will try to milk it for all its worth and try to sell it for $40 (when all others were sold at $35 and were way more useful)
  12. It was pretty enjoyable. Kinda like Lara Croft style action but with lightsabers and a quirky little droid clinging to your back. 😅 Sending you a PM now with the info. Enjoy! EDIT: PM sent!
  13. I was able to get a free game-code for "Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order" for PC with my Amazon Prime subscription and they gave me a code that you can apparently redeem in EA's Origin launcher. As I already own the game myself, the extra code is useless to me and my other online friends already have it so I figured I'd offer it here. So if there's someone out there who doesn't own this game yet but would like to get it for free, post a message below and I will contact the first one who responds to this post and send them the code through PM. It needs to be entered before the 7th of February if I remember correctly but I'll send you the screenshot with the code and other details on how to redeem it. Code given to Morgen Black! 😀
  14. Not impressed with this Cutlass Steal nor the Q&A. Effectively they charge $235 for a Cutlass Black that was given a few S1 doorguns and a small remote turret where the Black will get its tractorbeam turret; then they crammed in 18 seats which reduced the cargo capacity to 0. Sounds to me like a minimal effort ship just so they could sell people on Jumptown2.0. It's the same level of 'effort' that they showed with the ROC-DumbSeat (which was originally a discarded design), or the Cyclone-MT (which was just a TR with 4 S3 missiles; thus making the more expensive AA obsolete). Heck, it has the exact same components too with only 1 S2 shield so that thing is going to pop instantly. CIG could have take this opportunity to give each Cutlass variant 2xS2 shields at the very least and could have reduced the number of dropseats on this Cutlass Steal to 10 and a small cargo grid. CIG was in such a hurry that they didn't even bother to check if the dropseats would fit as they are also clipping into the fire extinguisher and people have said that it's very hard to actually get the gun out of the gunrack next to each seat. So yeah... The most egregious thing was the price though as this thing should have been sold at $120 max imo; not $235. That's just corporate greed imo. I thought Drake was making cheap no-frills ships so why this insane price? To me this was just a last-ditch minimal effort cash-grab at the 11th hour. You'd be better off with 3 regular Cutlass Blacks as each already has 6 seats in the back and then also have vehicles onboard for ground support and/or cargo to actually carry the drugs out. This Cutlass Steal has 0SCU so can't even get at the cargo. Personally I'd rather come in with a Redeemer. It may only have 4 jumpseats (and 4 additional marines could secure themselves in the beds if needs be) but at least it has massive shields, massive firepower, and 2SCU worth of cargo capacity to get the drugs to the authorities at Port Olisar.
  15. Only reason I can think of as to why the C2 isn't sold in the store is that it's technically not a military/militia style dropship and perhaps because you can purchase it ingame with aUEC. By looking at the ships CIG is selling in the store with this whole "Prepare for Jumptown" nonsense it's 4 dropships and some military support ships. The C2 is neither as its primary purpose is civilian cargo and vehicle transport.
  16. Yeah, if CIG had simply saved that Banu knife as the main gift for Day 12 I can guarantee that practically everyone would be happy. That's how advent calendars usually work where they give you the coolest thing last. Now they gave the coolest thing on Day 10, suddenly handed out another Caterpillar skin on Day 11 (which was awkward but okay), yet on the final day of the advent calendar they give us ... a picture. And it wasn't even clear that it was just a picture at first; until you clicked "More Info" and saw the word "Reveal" with a clickable link that opens the source image. That was a pretty big let-down. EDIT: Oh, it seems that CIG apparently realized their mistake and changed it to "Reveal-Wallpaper" now... 😒 Now I wasn't expecting them to give it out for free but if they had; then it would have garnered massive goodwill from the community. Now a lot of people are complaining that it's just a stupid picture when the vehicle itself isn't even released and instead we get some overpriced Cutlass Black with a few more guns on it for $235. So whoever was responsible for this clearly doesn't know how an advent calendar is supposed to work. Heck, they could have given out an "IceBreak" skin for this upcoming vehicle or maybe even a discount ticket so you would get $5 off or something. But just showing the reveal when they could have just put it in the email that went out today felt rather stupid. Meanwhile CIG thinks that everybody is now going to buy that overpriced Cutlass Steal or something when it brings nothing to the table and is just a massive deathtrap due to its minimal shielding and zero cargo capacity. That thing should have been $120 at most. Heck, for the same price you could get 2 Cutlass Blacks with money to spare. That's already 12 people in jumpseats plus 4 crew. Give each of them a railgun, put some vehicles in the cargohold, and go to town.
  17. Yeah, I got my hopes up as well for a second... but then I realized this is CIG we're talking about and they wouldn't give a ~$50 vehicle away for free unless it's a Bonus Referral event that gives them at least $40. It is rather peculiar though that they gave us sneakpeek handlebars and this reveal image as 'gifts' though as they could have put these in a newsletter instead. Personally I would have actually preferred getting a festive Pico and/or space-whale plushie with Christmas lights around its body. Ah well, at least they gave us some skins, a sweater, and a cool knife. Maybe one day CIG will sell us actual appartments so I can put that knife on display on a table somewhere.
  18. Unfortunately it looks like it's just the reveal image; and not the actual bike. Would love for it to be actually free but I fear that all we will get is the picture. I did get my hopes up for a second though... Sadly all it says is "Reveal" with a link that opens the image. So if we want to actually obtain this 'gift' we will likely have to shell out 50 bucks for it. Those greedy Banu.
  19. Luminalia is almost over so if you haven't already be sure to pick up (some of) these gifts or lose out forever.
  20. Sounds like you either ran into a bug or you pulled the power triangle away from your weapon. Energy weapons like the one on the ION recharge their capacitor automatically from the powerplant; but only if power is allocated. Normally your ship has the power triangle at 33% Weapons, 33% Shields, 33% Thrusters. If you move everything into Weapons then your weapon capacitor recharges a lot faster but your shields and boost will not recharge at all. Putting everything in Shields would cause your shields to recharge much faster (when not getting hit) but your Weapons and Boost level would not recharge at all. So if you want a balanced setup, it is best to keep things at 33-33-33. If you rarely if ever use Boost (Afterburner) then you could decide to pull the triangle to something like 45-45-10. So in short always make sure that your power triangle has power going to your weapons. If that is fine then you may want to check your components and see if you gun is powered on or not as there may be a chance that it was powered off by accident. Hope this helps!

Most of them are just minor things but some of them are pretty cool. I personally like that sweater very much especially because it was designed by NAIIMA who was the winner of last year's "Design A Luminalia Sweater Contest".
  22. As my fellow orgmates have stated, Star Citizen likes to hoard any and all available RAM. Oftentimes I see it easily using 18GB+ of my available 32GB. So increasing your RAM from 16GB to 32GB should see some massive improvements. Additionally if you don't already have Star Citizen installed on an SSD then that is definitely a requirement as an HDD simply won't be able to keep up with the constant streaming of assets. I still remember going from HDD to SSD back in the day and it was a massive improvement. Then I went from SSD to M.2 SSD and I also noticed additional benefits; likely due to the higher transfer rates of a M.2 drive vs a regular 2.5" SSD. Hope this helps!
  23. Not sure if all ships with a hangar can refuel the ship inside but I do remember CIG specifically stating this for the Carrack, Polaris, and Liberator. Not sure about other ships but I assume it will be similar. The Idris for example was built around that flightdeck so I assume it will come standard with refuelling/rearming capabilities as well. Regarding refining; from what I've gathered from the Odyssey Q&A the raw quantanium is fed directly into the refining vats so I assume the volatile quantanium is immediately stabilized as it is being processed as soon as it enters the ship. Similar to how Prospectors were racing against the clock to reach a refinery but as soon as they delivered the material everything was suddenly fine.
  24. The Q&A for the Odyssey has been released and this doesn't really sound anything like a "Carrack Killer" or "the ultimate exploration ship" that the devs claimed it was. 🤣 Instead it feels more like it's just a large mobile home with nothing special except for some capital sized components and near-unlimited range due to having half a Prospector embedded in the underside of the ship. No specializations and no special scanners. The only benefit it has is the mining+refinery so that it can extend its range. The entire crew has their own personal quarters but the captain doesn't get anything extra fancy; they just have to choose from one of the regular quarters. CIG claims it's a generalist ship but apparently has to depend entirely on whatever specialist ship+vehicle+cargo you take with you. Driftwoodbadger said it best in a Spectrum post I think: So basically the Odyssey itself isn't actually an exploration vessel, it's a general purpose expedition platform. What it does when it gets someplace depends on what ship you packed in the hangar. The Odyssey alone is just a range/duration extender for the ship it carries, that's all. To me the Q&A was not overly promising for a ship that costs $625/$700+ and CIG didn't even offer a Warbond CCU (probably intentionally so that Carrack owners had to shell out $100 for a CCU instead of $25) ... for a ship that may be bigger but has less visibility and can't really do anything better in terms of exploration purposes like the Carrack can (except having more range; provided you can find rocks with quantanium in them). However, one Q&A portion laid it out perfectly imo: What's the biggest difference between the Odyssey and the Carrack? The biggest difference is the Carrack’s specialization in various areas, such as jump point scanning/mapping, onboard drones and repair facilities, and its three modular cargo bays that can be outfitted in the future for various purposes beyond cargo. The Odyssey, however, favors a more generalized approach, with the flexibility to do a lot of separate roles depending on how you equip it with onboard ships, ground vehicles, and supplies. For me this effectively tells me that the Carrack is much better suited for exploration and the Odyssey is just a big ship with no real purpose. However, it's good to hear that CIG hasn't forgotten about those Carrack modules and will offer us more at some point. Heck, one of those future Carrack modules could very well be a "Quantanium Refinery and Mining Drones" module; considering how the Carrack already uses drones for other purposes as well. Looking at the interior volume of those cargo pods these other modules should have more than enough interior space to fit similar refinery vats and still have space left over for a drone control room and a pair of mining drones. That way people could choose to carry such a module at the cost of 33% of their cargo capacity. To me that would be a fair price to pay for extended range. As for the Odyssey, I guess people could use it to roleplay as if they're the crew of Alien:Covenant or something. However, as an actual exploration ship it does not appear to bring anything to the table that the Carrack can't already do much better; except for the part of mining+refining fuel.
  25. I can't really answer this "Carrack vs Odyssey" question properly until CIG has completed both ships; including the modules for the Carrack. At present time the Odyssey is just a concept sale while the three cargo pods on the Carrack are modular segments which can be swapped out for other modules. One such module might very well be a "quantum mining and refininery" module with mining drones or something. That way Carrack owners would have to trade 33% of their cargo capacity in order to get the ability to refine quantum fuel for personal use to extend their range; similar to what the Odyssey has by default. The main takeaway here is that the Odyssey is an all-in-one civilian exploration ship with zero modularity while the Carrack is an all-in-one (ex-)military exploration ship with 3 modular pods. Both ships apparently have similar sized medical wards with the same mid-tier medical bed. The primary difference is the size of the Odyssey and the larger hangar bay as well as the Odyssey being an all-in-one ship with some capital class components; but at a higher pricetag and without modularity. Currently it sits at $700 for the concept while the Carrack sits at $600 for a flightready ship. So at present time I can't really make a proper comparison until both the Odyssey is flightready and CIG has created (or at least revealed) the other modules that can be purchased and installed instead of those modular cargo pods that it currently has by default. However, I must say that it kinda sucked that CIG (intentionally?) didn't offer a Warbond CCU option even though their other two new releases Spartan and Raft did come with both a Standard Edition and Warbond Edition. I would have probably picked up a $25 Carrack-to-Odyssey Warbond CCU had they been available but being forced to shell out $100 for such a CCU was a bit too steep for me. So I settled on a $25 Perseus-to-Odyssey CCU instead and hope that the Merchantman will be flightready before the Perseus goes up in price. That way I might be able to get a relatively cheap Merchantman-to-Perseus CCU and chain those together for a discounted Odyssey as I still have a Merchantman standing by at a relatively low price. Jake Acapella did tell me the following after I asked him about this missing Warbond CCU through PM so I guess we'll just have to live with it: Now with the Odyssey being sold as "remaining self-sufficient almost indefinitely"; one does have to wonder about that feeling of deja-vu as CIG said the same about the Carrack back then... Yet we can clearly see that the Carrack currently has an issue as CIG's statements about the Carrack are not true. 😒 During the initial concept sale CIG stated that the Carrack was built for "truly self-sufficient flight" and several years later during the Endeavor Q&A this was confirmed yet again by stating that the Carrack was "a dedicated explorer, built as a single, self-sustaining ship". However, without the means to create more quantum fuel the Carrack is not self-sufficient nor self-sustaining at all as it would only be able to use half of its quantum fuel before it needs to turn around and use the other half of its fuel to return to civilization or find itself dead in the water without quantum fuel. So I really hope that CIG will consider offering a module with similar functionality to what the Odyssey has by default with quantanium mining and refinery equipment so that Carrack owners can decide to give up one of their cargo modules (33% of their cargo capacity) for a quantanium mining&refinery module. That way the "truly self-sufficient flight" and "self-sustaining ship" will remain true if such a module was made available.
