  1. The other thing that ended. Backer levels. Original, Veteran, New. All are equal now. We're all backers. I ended up backing this thing a lot. I never imagined.
  2. I've backed it. Good to see more space games being created. And I'm naming one of the galaxies.
  3. Pair AMD motherboards with AMD CPUs and AMD GPUs. They work much better that way. They are MEANT to work together cohesively. nVidia on an AMD board is just pointless.
  4. Still playing the heck out of Defiance and Firefall (founder commander), quite a bit of Interstellar Marines (original backer from 2009) and the not so occasional Shattered Horizon. Also installed the beta for Void Destroyer, Evochron: Mercenary demo and the demo for Star Conflict so will give those a try too. I also have to get back to Guild Wars Trilogy, I just started playing earlier this month. I have yet to start Planetside 2 (founder here), Strike Suit Zero (thank you GOG), RIFT (6 month subscription) and the Wing Commander Quadrilogy and SAGA (thank you GOG/FRED2 Modders)
  5. Finally, a digital release! And Void Destroyer looks absolutely stunning too.
  6. I posted this on GOG.com as off topic. I truly believe this is possible now. begin.... Does anyone know how to reach JMS these days. The CIS Digest stopped in 2006. After seeing their 20th Anniversary appearance very recently on youtube it got me all nostalgic and weepy for this series again. I never did buy the series on DVD as planned because of apparently how they were produced. Or rather how the episodes were remastered from the 1:33 aspect ratio original airings to letterbox. Or rather further how they were originally shot in widescreen then cropped which caused problems with making them widescreen again for the re-airings and subsequent DVD releases. The CGI would have to be re-composited for starters. I think JMS could successfully get the $ needed to remaster the episodes in true widescreen (how they were shot) through a kickstarter. Chris Roberts who created the Wing Commander series was successfully able to raise enough in 'Star Citizen/Squadron 42' to convince outside investors that the space simulator genre, and PC games were not dead. Since that successful proof of concept it has gone to a completely 100% investor free model for funding; which will reach its 21 million dollar goal by November this year. Joe Michael Straczynski is also very well known, winning the Hugo Award for 2 episodes of Babylon 5 'Coming of Shadows' and 'Severed Dreams'; plus having people in NASA and the space community among his fans for 20 years as well. Not to mention, influencing so many of the Sci Fi space shows that came after and during Babylon 5's five year run (and Crusade). If any series that's existed in the last 50 years deserved a proper re-mastering, it is/was Babylon 5. This link shows the problems faced: http://www.modeemi.fi/~leopold/Babylon5/DVD/DVDTransfer.html
  7. It looks like maybe that cannon can swing to the side....excellent
  8. Interstellar Marines (incl Bullseye/Running Man) Defiance Firefall Shattered Horizon
  9. Plus any attack on a military ship would be reported all over the Interstellar News Network. Lots of work available for bounty hunters then too.
  10. Mom's obituary: http://obits.staradvertiser.com/2013/07/07/linda-ann-silva-duvauchelle/
  11. Reavern, yeah the LTI ships are all gone. It was interesting that the RSI Aurora LX LTI packages and the Origin 350r Lightspeed LTI package and add-on were still available for at least 5 more minutes after the RSI Prime debut pledge drive was over. So many last minute people scrambled to checkout. You did the same as me, melted my Anvil Aerospace Hornet for the Origin 350r Lightspeed LTI package. In anticipation of what's to come.
  12. They finally deleted the physical collector box description from the Veteran pulldown for the Digital Freelancer LTI package. Someone was awake.
  13. Wow this project died? That's a real shame. That's some really impressive planetary entry work.
  14. If they stuck to the Universal Century and avoided the Zeta/ZZ and V Gundam parts it could work. Make a model for RX-78 Ver Ka, the F91 or G-Saviour on the private server and I'd be all over that.
  15. It's not midnight here yet so technically it can still reach 14 million. All that is required is that the rest of the world agrees that Midnight here is the end of the RSI Prime launch.
