  1. I'm in the same boat with my Cutlass Black. I asked in-game chat and they said the components persist through death but that won't be the case upon launch. Can anyone clarify this?
  2. I was saving for a different vehicle but I'm 100% picking this up.
  3. I'm in the midst of upgrading my Cutlass Black. Since I have no idea what I'm doing I've been following a 'guide' made by SubliminaL. Here is the build: Cutlass Black Build So far I've upgraded the Coolers, Shield and QT Drive. I'm saving-up for the Power Plant. What I don't understand is how to go about getting those weapons. They don't show up in the store when at the location. If I had to guess, I need to upgrade their 'mounting hardware'. Is this true? If so, does anyone know off the top of their head what I need to purchase? Usually I'd just throw $ at the problem and figure it out by trial and error. But $ is slow for me right now and my playing time is limited so I thought I'd ask before I devote the week+ towards trying to figure this out on my own. Once I see this fleshed-out the pre-reqs will make more sense and I can apply that knowledge to other ships / builds. I'm just having a bit of a time getting this first ship done.
  4. @Switch Worked like a charm. Thank you!
  5. @Switch Thank you SO MUCH!!!! I've got a monster of a "honey-do" list but when I get on tonight I'll parse through this. Seriously, thank you for taking the time to write that up!
  6. I have a Thrustmaster T.16000M and I've followed this page / guide to get set up: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50174/thread/thrustmaster-t-16000-fcs-hotas-fillable-pdf-form-c In that tutorial there's an XML file that has the keybinds. I've made a few changes to suit my muscle memory (long-time Elite: Dangerous player). Everything is great, except... There are 2 changes I'd like to make but I don't know how to go about doing it. 1st Change: I want to make it to where when I "twist" the stick left...the ship rotates in-place to the left. Twist to the right...ship rotates in-place to the right. (I believe this is the "RZ Axis".) 2nd Change: I want to make it to where when I move the Flight Stick to the left...the ship rolls to the left. Move the stick to the right...the ship rolls right. (I believe this is the "X Axis".) Without this change I spend 10 minutes trying to land a ship and end up going back to the Mouse and Keyboard control scheme. Is there anyone knowledgeable that can help? *EDIT* I'm going to be changing my in-game name and my name on here. Until I do I'm rocking my "Recruit" signature banner. Once I've decided on a new name I'll request a regular signature banner. FWIW, in case anyone cares or was wondering. I misunderstood which "name" would be my visible name when I made my Star Citizen account.
  7. I'm glad I saw this. I have the same experience: log in to lower $ than I swore I had when I logged out. I'll try the "time out" method.
  8. I'm a new Star Citizen player that took part in the Free Fly Event during Invictus Week. I purchased the Avenger Titan + Squadron 42 Starter Pack and CCU the ship to the Cutlass Black so I could have a bed and log out in space. Someone in the in-game chat helped me navigate this process (which was very much appreciated!). YouTube has been a great resource to help get me off the ground but I kept seeing videos the Prospector and Mining. This is an activity that I enjoy in Elite: Dangerous and Eve Online and know I'll spend a lot of time doing this in Star Citizen as a means to financially support myself as to buy and outfit more ships. Yada, yada, yada, I ended-up on StratoCrewzr's "For Sale" thread, bought a Prospector and was introduced to Imperium. I've been reading the "Org" section of Reddit trying to find a place that felt like a good fit, but nothing really jumped at me. From what I've been told, and what I've read on your site, it seems I have found an Org to apply to. I'm looking forward to talking with you more and hope to join-up for some fun in the Star Citizen Universe!
