    SSD for Star Citizen only

Buckaroo - I well appreciate your response to my post..thank you! I will be receiving my new SSD tomorrow (Saturday) and am going to follow your advice and use it purely for the core install of Star Citizen. Decided to re-install it from scratch - and will leave the support stuff on the OS SSD. Your intended move to M.2 SSD is excellent. I am hoping to be able to build a new updated rig in the near future, and will then have a better access for an M.2 myself so will also then go that route. Thanks again for your feedback - yea Colorado !

    SSD for Star Citizen only

Hi Folks- My first post here so hope I am in the right place. I have decided to remove Star Citizen from my SSD that also has the OS, to a secondary SSD that will contain and run SC only. This will be a 250GB SSD. I am wondering if it would be better for speed and performance to leave the "support" files for SC, (eg. ThrustMaster T16000M-FCS, T.A.R.G.E.T, Voice Attack, etc.) on the OS drive or put them on the same SSD as the main game. Also I am wondering if I should just re-install SC on the new drive from scratch, or can it be precisely and correctly moved with software - I use Acronis True Image for my backups and cloning. I would greatly appreciate feed back from folks here about this as I am hoping to create this new situation so that it will be the best I can have for now and the future of the game. Thanks. ************************************************************************************************************************************************** RIG to date: * Thermaltake Level 10 GT case * Cool Power Gamer 980 watts * Maximus V Formula mb * * Intel i7 3770k cpu * Corsair H100i cooler * Corsair Vengeance 16GB [2x8] 1600 * * Sapphire R9 270X Toxic 2GB gpu * OS Win 10 Pro 1803 * * Corsair VOID 7.1 Wireless Headset * * T16000M FCS HOTAS * Monitor - LG 42LK520 LCD TV * * SSD [OS] OCZ Vertex 4 256GB * 2nd SSD SAMSUNG 860 EVO Series 250GB SATA III 3D NAND * * Data HDs: SG 3TB, SG 3TB, WD 500GB * * Cam Logitech C920 * BluRay Multi(s) : ASUS BW-12B1ST and LG WH12LS39 * ========================================================================
