  1. Yep. But there isn't much actually available when there isn't any sale. I was considering the Redeemer, but that may be a bit too much ship for one person. I also want something more towards the top of the spectrum like a sabre, Super Hornet, or perhaps a Vanguard. I am pretty fed up with the whole "limited" sale system RSI has put out. I may be wrong, but it seems like it only forces people like me to buy from the grey market for a higher price.
  2. I may need to clarify my post a bit. I am looking to see if anyone has a CCU already purchased for an M50 that wants to sell it. I own an M50, 350R, Terrapin, Freelancer DUR, Herald, and Dragonfly. Because I just CCU'd my Superhornet to the Terrapin during the sale week I now need another combat ship. But because I couldn't afford to CCU my M50 last week I am kind of screwed since I don't actually want to keep the M50. I may be interested in that ship, do you have the CCU for it?

Want to Buy WTB M50 Upgrade

I am looking for a ship upgrade from an M50. The ship I'm looking for isn't set in stone yet, but I need a combat ship. Anyone out there have one?
  4. I truly hope they allow the FL to go through small jump points. That was the primary reason I chose the DUR over larger exploration ships.
  5. Just purchased a yellow Drake Dragonfly. Price was reasonable, service was prompt and friendly.
  6. The fact that he purposely shot AROUND those pods is disconcerting. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't mount my hard drives on the OUTSIDE of my tower. And while the argument could be made that engines and flight control or even your own life are more important than the data, the entire point of this ship is to get the data to its destination. Personally, I would put that 950k cruise speed up against almost any pirate, especially if they throw lots of countermeasures in as well. But a stray missile, or random strafe of gunfire when I'm not paying attention shouldn't cost me my entire cache.

You say you've had your desktop for over a week?Throw that junk away, man, it's an antiqueYour laptop is a month old? Well that's greatIf you could use a nice, heavy paperweight
  8. ChinNoobic has claimed the pedals. This thread can be closed. Thanks
  9. Thanks Gerald, I also cross posted into that thread.
  10. I signed up for a pair of these pedals months ago but have since decided that I don't need them. If anyone is interested in getting some Crosswinds by April 1'st feel free to pm me and hop into TS.
  11. I can understand the benefits of having "options." But I have become accustomed to controlling all 6 axis w/ the T16s. I am pretty confident that I will not improve my piloting skills by adding a new controller to the mix. And I am not "selling" my place in line, just giving it to someone who is going to use it. The email I received today said they should be ready by April 1'st so if you want them, get a hold of me before then and we'll figure out the logistics.
  12. Oh yeah, I looked for one, but didn't think it would be under Multimedia/IT. If someone wants to, please move this.
  13. I signed up for the crosswinds months ago, but now I am questioning the need for any pedals at all. I bought two T16's and they have all the axis' that I need. Or do they? Is there any possible use for more degrees of freedom? If not, does anyone want my place in line for the Crosswinds? If you want them, I can have them sent to you, we will just have to figure out how to handle the payment.
  14. Looks like the long wait was worth it. I some how got invited in the first wave. See you in the PTVerse
  15. Banned for not having Imperium's logo in your signature.
  16. @Rellim why do you say pc mic jacks are unreliable? I have been using mine for years and have not seen any issues.
  17. Sounds like a fun project! Which Arduino board are you using? I am in the process of designing a split keyboard, but decided to use the teensy, which seems to be superior to and less expensive than the Arduino. For future reference, a "degree of freedom" is actually all movement on a particular axis, so forward/backward is one degree. I am currently using two T16000's in SC, both of which have three degrees each. These sticks cost $50 each including shipping and utilize hall effect sensors on the X/Y axis (not sure about Z), have three thumb buttons, one trigger, and one four way hat on thumb, plus twelve buttons on the base and an analog slider. I am not trying to deter you from building a personalized stick, but if your goal is to just have a basic stick for little money, I think the best option is to just buy a T16. A well designed six degree stick would be amazing. I have seen a few posts here and on various other forums lately about different 6 dof "mice" and they look interesting. Good luck on your project, and keep us updated on the build!
  18. " Anything else is a waste of money. " He said while standing inside his hangar of 15 ships :-p
  19. Thanks for this heads up! I have been wanting a new mouse for awhile, and now I don't have an excuse not to get one. Hopefully I can get in before they all sell out :-)
  20. Also, I didn't win the Endeavor :-( No worries, I'm pretty sure I have the winning powerball ticket ;-)
  21. That was great. Now I need to go watch Firefly. And then be depressed when the only season is over.
  22. It's good to know I contributed .0000062% of that milestone :-) Just goes to show the power of numbers.
