I didn't hear him mention anything about guilds or clans on the multiplayer side did you guys? I would assume since it's multiplayer there will be something of this type. Thoughts?

But like mentioned above if they can crowd fund 2 million they will be able to draw in a lot of bigger investors.

Well I read it was 1 year deep so far. As you can see in the videos they have made some progress. All the videos were created from actual in game footage and assets.

Just found this on the official site now that it's back up about the Online Revenue Model. Not a subscription but not free-to-play; rather a hybrid of these two business models. Much like ArenaNet's Guild Wars 2, you will purchase the PC game and pay no recurring subscription charges. Your purchase of the game will allow you to play in the universe for free, forever! The game will offer a variety of virtual items for purchase with in-game credits allowing you to spend money on items that offer more ways to express yourself, provide convenience, and customize your experience. But the cardinal rule regarding "in-game purchases" is: Players who spend money purchasing in-game credits will have no advantage over players who spend time! Everything is bought with in-game credits. These purchases won't offer any advantage over someone who puts in the "game-time" to earn the same amount of credits. You might ask, why have "in-game" purchases at all? This allows us the resources to support the game on an ongoing basis as well as continually add content.

Yeah I didn't tick the box to refund my money if they don't hit the goal. Surely they will though I know in about 4 hours today they raised over 200k before they took down the counter.

Saw a lot of people asking about support for Oculus Rift. I had no idea what this was so looked it up. The Oculus Rift is an upcoming high field of view (FOV) consumer-priced virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) created by Palmer Luckey that the company Oculus LLC is developing for virtual reality simulations and video games. Chris confirmed on Facebook that they would be supporting it.

Not a clue, not sure why it couldn't happen though.

Oh, this would be bad ass if they end up doing so. As you can see here: https://www.facebook.com/RobertsSpaceIndustries/posts/439558809419480?notif_t=feed_comment_reply Someone suggested that if you pledge you could receive a boxed edition of Star Citizen instead of just a digital copy. Looks like they are going to take into consideration users suggestions unlike many other games.

Hmm...well this post on their Facebook page has me worried. They are saying if they don't hit the 2 Million in funding in 30 days then the game won't happen....get to pledging! https://www.facebook.com/RobertsSpaceIndustries/posts/439560329419328?notif_t=feed_comment_reply

Heh, I looked and looked for that before I pledged, but couldn't find anything. I went with the $60 mark as that's what I would normally pay for a game like this. I'll be keeping an eye out for images of them though and I'll post them up if anything surfaces.

Welcome to the board Wang! Did you already reserve your spot to become a tester by funding the game?

True, I did catch that.
