I have searched everywhere on this forum in the modding section and I'm surprised that no one has made a post about this app. Being modders I'm sure you have all heard of this but am I right in thinking that you all don't think it's anything to get excited about. I would really like to have this work in star citizen. Can anyone tell me what it would take to get this to work, I may even give it a bash..

There are a few programs that allow you to custom map controls to a tablet. The problem is that for SC it is one-way because CIG do not support the api/screen tech which will allow you to display real time info on the tablets. It should not be a major effort to enable it but it does not seem to have a high priority for them at the moment ( they prefer to spend time on integrating OR ............ Yeah the target audience for OR compatibility will be a lot bigger than the one for touch enabled controls ............. NOT ;-)

Looks useful for energy management or displaying a map, i like it.

But i wont buy a iPad just for that, i already have a Samsung Android tablet...

Maybe they make an Android port ?

That's exactly what I was thinking for managing the shields or power, but I just loved the fact that the ipad can show what's going on in the game. The KSP video is awesome and I would love to see someone using this app amid a little more chaos.

I really hope one SC modding genius takes this under their wing and turns it into something useful.

Thanks booster. It's a real shame because I really think an app like this would be a lotta fun. And what makes it even better is it's fully customisable. Ahh well let's hope it makes it.

Thanks for the message.

Have controls fully working in AC meow. Am investigating a third party plugin system for cryenginne that may work to get velocity and energy data out of game and into CCP. If anyone is a cryengine expert or even a half baked programmer and wantd to help I'd appreciate it (damn it Jim I'm an architect not a coder) check out https://github.com/hendrikp/Plugin_SDK for cryengine plugins that don't require recompiling.

Explains the flow nodes for pulling vehicle velocity data

How kerbal (and eve) modders put it together with unity engine SDK

Official SDK if CIG pursues this app in the future

In the meantime I've been testing multiple layouts, amazing how far off first pass was at being usable despite seeming to make sense. Added strafe controls and have been grouping controls to better suit dogfighting. If you'd like to help me test/develop this more let me know.
